Is there any way to limit the access of a particular tablet to parts of the x32 mixer. I would like only allow the tablet access to the main faders and indivual channel EQ. It's used in a church for mostly speaking with no aux sends or monitors. I've looked all over for this kind of thread, to no avail. Or, can someone point me to the thread if this has been asked/answered previously.

Hi Douglas, the only way I can think of to do this is to run Mixing Station XM32 Pro on the tablet and create a custom layout with only the allowed controls. It would be hard to make it foolproof but it would guard against accidental changes to other parameters.

If you had a budget you could use a control processor and touch panel, such as an Extron or Crestron based system, to design your own and control certain aspects of the mixer. I'm not sure how broad the x32's API is but its certainly a possible option.

Got my Crave a few hours ago and i´m experiencing ghost trigs on rest steps.

Means even if you do a pattern with only rest steps, you get tiny trigs which trigger the envelope.

Makes the sequencer useless for programming the simplest patterns.

On top the Mix (Noise / External Audio) is bleeding into the signal path. Both, external audio an noise will be in the signal path slightly, even when turned of.

I´m on 1.0.6 and somehow i think this could be solved though firmware ...

I´ve done a ticket to get a proper answer for this trig issue.

I'm in the exact same situation!

Ghost triggers under 1.06 on the rest steps. I have two Craves, both have the same issue.

      Please help!

      Hi there,

I reported that as bug already, although I returned my Crave yesterday.

You should do that too, since lowering decay time decreases the effect as Eduard said in the facebook group.

That's a great reference mic. It is available at most online music or audio stores such as here. I did see the spec sheet online not too long ago. If I come across it again, I'll add the link.

Hi, I have an X32 rack.. the other day channels 1-8 have stopped working, on all 8 channels it is registering a small signal/interference but no input signal. Channels 9-16 appear fine... I have googled this and it seems it’s happened to a fair few... any ideas? Also, how do I contact Behringer direct? Thank you

Hello Karl, welcome to the community.

I suggest that you raise a Care ticket for Service Repair explaining your problem. This is done by clicking on Support at the top of the page and then clicking the Create a Care Ticket button. This is only possible if you have completed all the required fields in your profile. Make sure that you fill-in every required field on the Care form.

I am currently using X32 Rack (Main input), X32 Console (FOH) and this forum helped me with the routing of both systems. I am live streaming and I want to be able to take the inputs from the rack and send to M32c in the manner as I send to the X32 console is that possible? Below is how I am routed currently if I have to take S32 rack out of the mix to make this work I will any suggestions? I forgot to add the goal of all of this is so the M32c can have the ability to mix the inputs from the rack independently for live streaming X32Rack AES A to DL32 AES A FOH X32 AES A to X32 Rack AES B FOH AES B to S32 AES A X32 Rack routing to send audio to X32 Console

RexBeckett I would place the M32C between the X32 Rack and the FOH X32. Set the AES50 routing on the M32C to pass all the inputs on each port to the outputs on the other one. The M32C can take its inputs from whichever AES50 port is connected to the X32 Rack.

JsunTyler Thanks Rex can you layout a routing outline how I posted mine? I am a visual person

    • JsunTyler
RexBeckett The AES50 routing for the M32C would look like the attached. The connections could be:

      S32 (A) <-> (B) FOH X32 (A) <-> (B) M32C (A) <-> (B) X32 Rack (A) <-> (A) DL32

      • X32 Rack, X32 Console and M32c Live Stream Routing Possibility
JsunTyler Is the M32c an upgrade in audio quality to the x32 rack? If it is would it make sense to use the M32c and the DL32 for as the master inputs and then use the rack for streaming?

      • X32 Rack, X32 Console and M32c Live Stream Routing Possibility
RexBeckett There is no difference in audio quality between the M32C and X32 Rack - as far as digital processing is concerned. If you are not using any of the Rack's local analogue inputs/outputs, you could exchange the M32C and X32 Rack if you wanted to but it would not change the audio quality. Personally I would keep the Rack for monitors. If for nothing else, the meters page is useful during setup and for trouble-shooting.

      • X32 Rack, X32 Console and M32c Live Stream Routing Possibility
JsunTyler Thanks again the s32 was the snake for FOH incase we needed long distance connections and that has not been the case. If I was to connect the s32 to M32c how would that effect the routing that we have been working on? Which means FOH would be console only, S32 connected to M32c and Rack connected to DL32 with M32c being the middle part of the chain

JsunTyler Ok I got nervous and did not want to change how my routing was setup because my live audio is primary. What I decided to do was in the original setup just replace the s32 slot with the m32c and connectI the m32c to the s32. I have port b of x32 foh going to port a of m32c. I have port b of m32c going into port a of s32. I want to be able to use the s32 as tihe output source for m32c. I have input signal coming fine but testing output from s32 and I have no signal. Thanks in advance for your help

      • X32 Rack, X32 Console and M32c Live Stream Routing Possibility
RexBeckett So you have changed the AES50 routing on the X32 FOH to forward all the inputs from port A to port B for use by the M32C (through AES50-A)? Which of the M32C outputs do you want on the S32? You may need to share your current M32C scene if you want help with the routing.

      • X32 Rack, X32 Console and M32c Live Stream Routing Possibility
JsunTyler I got lucky and got it to work, I have port B of FOH into port A of M32c A, port B of M32c to port A of S32. So now the chain goes Rack, FOH to M32C. Figuring out the output routing on M32C was weird but I got it. Thanks as always for your help

Hey so I have an issue I just can quite wrap my head around, im looking to restart my twitch channel with my other half and I will be streaming from my pc but I want us to have dynamic mics as our USB cardiod mics pic each other up even with noise gates, so iv decided to get two rode podmics and im looking at a Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer. Now my question is ... if i plug both our mics into it is it just a case of having a line out to my pc and a line out to her pc so that we both take use of the mixer on seperate pc's for discord ? much obliged for any guidance thanks

DaveMorrison If you panned one mic to the left and the other to right, the main outputs would each have a separate channel. Hopefully the mixer won't overdrive the computer's inputs.
I'm not sure the Dynamic mics will help as much as you hope. It's true they are less sensitive to high-frequency signals. The trick is to get really close to each mic (eat the mic) so that the mics gain can be lower. If your mouth was 4 inches away from the mic, and you changed that to 1 Inch away, you would gain 12dB of signal. If the mic gain is 12dB lower, the background noise is also 12dB lower.

PlayGrum thanks for the advice thats a really good point, i think i may try getting 2 focusrite scarlett solo's for each of us with the rode podmic's and make sure they are close enough with a decent boom arm and see how we go... fingers crossed

Hello I wonder if you can help. I have a brand new x-Touch and am having very intermittent success getting the item to connect properly in Logic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just has a blank screens, sometimes half the controls work, the rest don't. I've just updated to 1.21 and now it doesn't work at all. I can see it connected in Control/Setup (as Mackie Control) and the yellow ! goes as it sees the machine but no faders react, screens stay blank. Please help! Thanks
