How can i listen to the audio i am controlling on my android device headphone output with X air for PC or X air android?

    i

I would like to use the headphone out.

it would be helpful if each person in the band could use the headphones out on their phones to listen while running X Air Q.

    Does it already do that?

RexBeckett Hi Gary, there is no audio present on the network connection so it is not possible to monitor through control devices (PCs/tablets/phones). You would need to add a wired or wireless IEM system to provide individual monitoring.

Paul_Vannatto The X32 saves current state internally every 2 minutes. If you have specific settings you want saved, you should save them as a scene in the scene list. Also remember to export important scenes to a USB stick for backup (using the Utility button).

      DavidKnighton Hello Michael,
The error you're encountering is a security permission with Mac OS. Go to SYSTEM PREFERENCES>SECURITY and find the option to 'allow app to make changes'.

        DavidKnighton Hello Michael,
Check out this help guide from Apple. You're on the right track. I think you just need security unlocked, then try to run the app again and it'll ask you if you want to open it. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491

Hi, I need some help with a Behringer Xenyx Q1002usb.
I connect up to my PC running windows 10 with Realtek high def audio. I can record ok with Presonus Studio One5 or Audacity and hear everything fine through the Xenyx headphone socket, but can't monitor it through my amp and speakers connected to the PC. If I've got an album playing, it cuts the sound when I plug the mixer usb in, so it's doing something.
The other problem is if I listen to one recorded track and try to record another track, bass over guitar for example, the latency is appalling, like it's going through a delay pedal. Is there any way of curing this?
    Thank you.

RexBeckett Hi ibizasteve, when you connect an audio interface/mixer to a PC, Windows assumes that you want to use it for both input and output. You can override this in Windows Control Panel -> Sound -> Playback by selecting a different default device e.g. the internal sound card.

Windows' normal handling of external sound interfaces can result in considerable latency. If you are using DAW software that supports ASIO, you could install the ASIO4ALL driver which bypasses some of Windows' processing and reduces latency. See: https://www.asio4all.org/

Audacity does not support ASIO so the addional driver will not help. It does have a way of compensating for latency, though. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/latency_test.html

Why is it that Behringer/MusicTribe seem to insist on categorising all online-communications by market? Don't you care at all about consumers who already own your products? The "tribe-concept" seem entirely focused on marketing and is worthless for product support. It is as if the company is trying to discourage communications between users. Instead you should facilitate communications to support customer self-service. This new website has now been in production for a couple years, and despite promises made it has not improved in any significant way. As implemented performance is dismal, and functionality even worse. Experienced users struggle to find relevant information and new users often give up. There are alternative sources to information such as facebook-groups and 3rd-party forums, but the corporate online-support for MusicTribe products is now widely considered to be non-existing with the exception of downloads for software and documentation. For tech-support the old simple forum categorised by product-family was vastly superior. As more and more local shops close and busness move online it gets harder to get assistance locally. With my 30+ years of experience from IT and networking I simply don't understand how your corporate management has been able to ignore this problem for so long. I would have been fired within a week if I had implemented such a disaster of a website for a client without an immediate fix or rolling back to a working solution. Every visit to this website for information is turning me off MT-products. Everywhere I look for tech-info about MT-products the sentiment is also the same, that online tech-support is lacking. This is what I hear from Midas and Turbosound sales and tech as well as from people in retail. Further adding to the problem is that tech support specialists are being laid off left right and center to cut cost. I'm not writing this just to bash MT-management. I just find it sad that the support situation have led at lot of former diehard Midas, KlarkDesign, TC-electronics and TurboSound users/fans to now recommend against the purchase of those products.

PS! As the community discussion (what should have been a proper forum) doesn't offer a "general" category I have put this request in a category that is relevant to my needs.

AaronPlant Having read your post, with all due respect- I am slightly bewildered to be honest, as I have always found this web site a great help. Users have always been very willing to offer help, and often I get the answers I need without having to go direct to the manufacturer for support. I realise that this may not always work, but I would guess that for the majority of users, the answers are usually forthcoming. Clearly you have had a bad experience, and we all know how frustrating it is when you can't get the answers you need, but it might be a little harsh to say that the web site is useless... things can always be improved for sure, but other than this site being somewhat slower to load, I really can't say that I've had any bad experiences.

Paul_Vannatto Hi Aaron, Per does have a point. In spite of the fact that there are so many things wrong to this new forum interface, there are a few of us still sticking it out trying to help answer questions and providing solutions. Unfortunately we have lost many of our seasoned user/members that provided such a wealth of insight and experience. On the flip side, we have gained an increasing amount of MT staff support, which we are grateful for.

Anthony215 I come here looking for information on specific products. I don't have time to read pages and pages of unrelated information. The previous site was very useful. This site is a disaster. Please fix it.

Hi! One of the things I really like about the Wing is that it supports a range of workflows. One thing that would help me, is if it were possible to use sends on fader to do bus to bus mixing. We have a bus for a livestream mix (I do have a reason to use a bus over a main in this instance!), and using sends on fader works great for everything, except for mixing in the FX (which I am using directly on busses, without return channels).

Currently, I have to select the FX bus to adjust the send from these to the stream mix (bus 1), which is a bit awkward as it then messes up the sends on fader by selecting the FX. What would be really handy is if I could select sends on fader for bus 1, and have the FX bus faders (bus 13-16) reflect the send to the stream bus (bus 1).

I realise that it is not something that can be enabled by default, as sends on fader for a bus works both for mixing channels to the bus, and the bus to a main or matrix. There would need to be some definition of which way the bus to bus mixing went.

This can be solved by adding an option in the setup menu, under the surface tab, to choose to have this off (default), or for the faders to control the sends to the selected bus, or for the faders to control the sends from the selected bus. It could be something like the picture here, to let you enable the feature and choose which direction you want it to work.

KevinMaxwell On the WING there aren’t the usual effects returns. So I am using the Mains 1-4 as my effects sends. I insert the effect onto the Main and then use that main as the input to an aux channel. Then you can send that aux channel to where ever you want thus putting how much reverb you send to the house (matrix) and how much if any to the Mix Bus that you use for each monitor. Or out to a matrix that feeds your broadcast/Streaming feed.

I use the Matrix outs to feed my house speakers and other things.

Nigel67 Hi Shea, I am sorry, but I think that you have contacted the wrong company for support on your logic pro x software or mackie mixer. We only support the Behringer B210D speakers, and if they are outputting audio, then they are working. Your FX from logic pro x are mixed into the audio on the mackie so you need to contact one of those two companies for advice. I am unsure why you have the mic and line input connected at the same time, but the Quick Start Guide does advise you do not.

      (7) XLR INPUT Connect a microphone, balanced mixer output, or the
LINK OUTPUT from another speaker using a balanced cable with a
      female XLR plug.
WARNING: Never use the ¼" and XLR inputs at the same time.

Paul_Vannatto The photo provided is of the B210D speaker back panel. Shea, to get the Mackie built-in FX to the mix, follow the instructions in the Mackie manual (page 14).

Thank you for the info. I’ve read the manuals but clearly not well enough. I don’t want the effects from mackie I want the guitar plug ins from logic (or garage band or any saws).

Sorry if this was the wrong place because . Yes, the speakers work. So that’s good!

    Hello, everyone.

I'm a noob to the music production scene but am old enough to have been imprinted by analog synths in the late 70s and new wave in the 80s. I've ordered my first synth; the Behringer Neutron and will receive it soon. Given the price and sound, I think that I might be a fan of Behringer.  Given that I'm a complete newbie, I'm wondering what a "next" purchase should be in order to maximize my value of the Neutron purchase. I am drawn to the Behringer semi modular products but since I don't really know what I'm talking about yet, I was wondering if there is a clear "you must have" with your Behringer Neutron?

    Most respectfully,

    John

      DavidKnighton Hello John,
If you don't already have one, a MIDI enabled keyboard is going to go a long way. Even better if the keyboard also has CV/GATE outputs. The Arturia Keystep is a fan favorite, and we make a similar product called SWING. Also a pair of headphones or a speaker system is a must, otherwise you won't be able to hear anything.
