My Tannoy 2.8 sub has suddenly stopped outputting any sound. The light at the back now flashes red whereas it used to be a solid green. What does this indicate? I raised a care ticket but this has gone ignored. Attrocious customer service from what used to be a reputable brand.

Nigel67 Hi, I am sorry that the care ticket that you have sent in has not been answered. This is highly unusual as by the end of our days the queues are clear. You should have been sent an automated e-mail (check your spam folder as well) that contained a case number. Please can you send me that case number and I will investigate further. Again, many apologies for this.

KrisPWales Hi Nigel. Unfortunately this is still no closer to getting solved. I sent over proof of purchase and other details last week to no response. Could you please take another look?

Nigel67 Hi Kris, my colleague replied to you on the 15/9 after you replied to him the day previous to say that there was an e-mail issue and the previous replies were not received. Can you check your spam just in case the e-mail went in there. The case number is CAS-134651-S3J7X3. Can you confirm your e-mail address please or do you have another e-mail address that I can try. Many thanks

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows of a wall bracket that would be suitable for Revolution R1 speakers? We currently have a bracket that the speaker sits on, but this is quite large and not visually pleasing. I am looking for a bracket that could screw onto the back of the speaker and be much less obtrusive.

    Regards

    Roger Woods

borealrepose I am looking for a manual for Stirling SE speakers but am unable to find it on your website. Am I missing the locatoin or is it simply not there. In the latter case, are you able to tell me where to find a PDF of the manual. Thank you.

DavidKnighton Hello borealrepose, I think you should make a separate post for your question, as you seem to have replied to someone else's post.

DavidKnighton Hello LapinsG92. Tannoy has a small range of what is called "Low Profile" install speakers. These are intended for buildings that don't have much depth for installation. Check out the CMS503D LP (LP for Low Profile). I believe we have a few low profile models to look out for. https://www.tannoy.com/tannoy/product?modelCode=P0BU0

I see the there is a newer version of the XT8F.

-Do the newer models have improved drivers?
-Are they interchangable with the original XT8F?
    -What are their specs/cost?

    Dear Tannoy,

I am interested in your Tannoy Gold 8 Active Studio Nearfield Monitors but I note that the lower frequnct response is capped at 50Hz, what solution do you provide for the 0 - 50Hz sub-bass?

    • DavidintheMusicTribe
PedroRodrigues Hi DavidintheMusicTribe effectively you are correct the Tannoy Gold 8 at ±3 dB offers a Frequency response of 54 Hz – 20 kHz and at -10 dB offers a Frequency response of 40 Hz – 20 kHz, unfortunately at this moment we do not offer any product that includes in there frequency response the lower frequency spectrum that you are referring to. Please also consider that the majority of studio subwoofers will offer a frequency spectrum of 24 Hz - 85 Hz at -6dB. Thank you

I have had a pair of XT6F for a while but really struggling to get a satisfactory sound from them. They seem very harsh at the top end and have boomy bass. They replaces a similar sized speaker that did not exhibit any of this.

Tried positioning and follow as closs as I can the positioning from the manual but it even brigher if I use the severe toe in recommend.

I'm getting to the end of my tether with them so any ideas welcome. They sounded so much nicer when I heard them in shop. So likely my room is the key but I can't change this.

Hi there, no offence, do you checked the connection polarity? If it is correct you could try to avoid the proximity from any reflective surface, like windows or mirrors. I hope this help, best regards

Hello. My Tannoy wireless headphones do not work together, it works either right or left.

I tried all possible connection options. How to make the headphones work correctly?

      Dear @alexminc,

      Hope you are well.

If you have not already done so please try conducting a factory reset on the device, the below steps will guide you through this:

      1. Put the LIFE BUDS in the charging case,

      2. Press LIFE BUD to charging status (red LED on)

      3. Double-press the MFB button,

      4. The LIFE BUD reset successfully after blue LED flashes 5 times, then do the same for the other one.

      5. If reset is successful and both earbuds flash" red and blue", it means they are in pairing mode. Both earbuds will search automatically and then pair themselves.  After they are paired, only the master earbud (Right) will flash red and blue, and the other earbud flashes blue slowly. After the right earbud is connected to the mobile phone, both earbuds will have sound.

If upon doing this it does not resolve the issue please submit a support ticket for further assistance.

      Take Care.
