The Harmony V60/100 has been on the TC Helicon for 6+ months. Is this a real product? No one seems to have it for sale & all searches just show the same basic info about its features with the same wording (copy/paste from a press release).

PedroRodrigues Hi Jason, effectively it is a real product launched on the 13/07/2020 as you can see below but you need to consider that with our conjecture any distribution structure is suffering from a huge pressure and difficulties and at the same time we are changing our distribution model to allow a more direct access to our customers . I would suggest to not give up on your search and try to search by following the link below https://www.tc-helicon.com/buy.html

brattabo Hi, I`ve recently bought the Harmony V60 and got it the other day from Thomann in Germany. Now I am wondering if there exists a full manual on the product? All I can seem to find is a QuickStart manual?

Just aquired a TC-Helicon GO Guitar interface device.

In the video's for this product a "dongle"or "Adapter"is used to connect to the lightning port of an iPAD, it is also mentioned in the instruction leaflet to do so.

But it is nohwere mentioned which adapter is used, the standard Apple adapter uses a TRS female jack, but the TC-Helicon Go Guitar uses a TRRS jack ( 3 contacts against 4..)

SO which adapter ( or dongle as it is called in the video) should i use for this interface ?

      Hi @CKa

we use the standard apple lightning to headphone adaptor (https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMX62AM/A/lightning-to-35-mm-headphone-jack-adapter) ; this should work for you!

That said, apparently some of the earlier apple adaptors were just TRS, so if you have an older adaptor your Go Guitar may not work with it.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

ANd that was the end of this adventure, Guitar Rack will never recognize the Guitar Go basic, , will avoid TC stuff in the future...

Looking at Sam Perry's equipment video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfJ14MsMO0U) he is using a guitar tuner to actually make sure his voice is in tune before starting his loops. This seems like a great idea.

I have both the voicelive 2 and the  touch 2, both have a tuner, but on the guitar channel. How would it be possible to have mute & tuner mode on the voicelives?

      Hey @PaulSijben,
Sorry to say that the tuners in both those products are exclusive to the guitar path - there's no way to get your voice into them unless you're physically plugging your mic into the guitar input.  They do both however have pitch correction in them, so you can use that to be sure you're in tune.  Cheers!

    Hi

Does anyone know of a way to create custom genres on the Play Acoustic? The VoiceSupport 2 software doesn't seem to allow this.

I want to be able to create a group of presets that will be associated with a song - much in the same way that Favourites operates but with more banks. Favourites bank 1. Favourites bank 2. Favourites bank 3 and so on but with custom names.

It would be an easy way to group presets for songs in a set list.

The other way is to copy presets to different positions in the memory - that works fine but means I have to remember which slot number each song starts at. Piece of paper with a list is easy to make as a reminder of course :-)

kiskadar69 You can't create new genres, but there is a workaround. IMHO with TC-Helicon VoiceSupport 2, you can add and remove presets to existing genres.

kiskadar69 For TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 and VoiceLive 3, the Step function was created for this problem.

Ok, thanks for the help. I thought about using the existing genres and just have a list of genre x=song y but there aren't enough genres. We do sets of up to 3 hours with 25-30 songs.

I'm using Onsong ipad App with my VL3X plugged into the USB port. When I play a track from the Onsong App, the iPad's volume up/down buttons don't work. Only way I can turn the music up/down is through the VL3X mixer (4 small knobs on face). This isn't very convenient as I have to bend down to twist the knobs. Is there any way to affect the volume with the iPad volume buttons or are they bypassed since I'm plugging into the VL3X via USB?

I do not use or know much about On song, yet with my VL3XI use Aux port for the input if I need a backing track.or  we can record a Backing track with each preset- I personally am looking for someone who has insight to eliminate VL3X "settings" instability-especially during a live performance...totally annoying

i bought a new GoXLR but everytime it checks for updates it freezes most of the things on my pc and when it unfreezes the audio is out of sync (if there is audio). alot of the time it doesn't unfreeze so i end up having to restart my pc. it's quite annoying because it does this every 2-5 minutes so i can't play a game or talk to my friends without having to restart my pc every 2-5 minutes, does anyone know a way to fix this?

ChrisEdwards1 Hi MiniEgg23, if you have not yet done so I would first recommend checking out the following Knowledge Base article:

      https://community.musictribe.com/pages/kba?articleId=ef034be1-1672-eb11-a812-000d3ac89f92&brand=TC%20Helicon

Please also try the following items to fix:
1.) Try all USB ports (even ports with other devices currently plugged in)
2.) Upgrade your USB drivers for your motherboard
3.) Upgrade your motherboards bios (See the manual on how to do this)
4.) Try another USB cable for the GoXLR
5.) Try the GoXLR on another pc
6.) Also, If you are using a USB hub, try plugging directly into the USB port.

If this does not help to resolve the issue I would recommend opening a Technical support ticket if this has not already been done.

I own a perform V  however it does not fit on my microphone stand and it is very difficult to change the effects during a performance.  I am considering purchasing a mic mechanic or a voice live play.  I need something very simple that I don’t really need to change the settings on too much. I sing popular type rock.

Can you please make a suggestion for me? I know they perform V has doubling  I don’t see this on the mic mechanic and not really sure if I need it. Mostly I want tone, pitch correction and a little fuller voice with a very small amount of reverb/echo.  I am not a pro so I need something very simple. Please help, thank you

      Hey @Dale11,
It sounds to me like the Duplicator is the pedal for you.  It has doubling, reverb, pitch correction, and Tone.

Also in regards to your Perform-V not fitting on your mic stand, please check out David's rant.  You might just need to put some muscle into it, it's very unlikely that you'll be able to break the plastic on the Perform-V's mic clip by forcing it on there.

The Duplicator looks pretty darn nice....and SIMPLE...which is good.  I really love my VoiceLive Play a lot though.  I like having presets.  Truthfully I don't end up using much more than what that Duplicator can do, but I have found it beneficial, as a backup singer, to be able to totally disable my mic with a muted preset, for songs I don't sing on, for example.  I don't see how this unit would let you adjust the gating sensitivity, for example, where with the VoiceLivePlay you have more options to configure how all that stuff works.

    Hello,

I just bought a VL3X and I'm using CC32# to select presets via MIDI from Cubase, great!

I have to command via MIDI a very long delay (approx 2 seconds) in a song, so I need to activate/deactivate this delay in a given preset.

My problem: switching on/off the delay via MIDI is ok (CC117#), but when I switch off the delay via MIDI, it cuts the tail of the delay if it was still sounding.

When I switch off delay directly pressing the switch Delay on the VL3X, the tail of the delay is not cutted (idem with the Hit button).

Any ideas please? I really need to command delay via MIDI.

    Cheers!

All I can seem to get on my Perform VK is a minimum of two voices in the harmony, all I want is one. Is this possible?

    Thanks

kiskadar69 Yes. Choose Natural Play mode, then High, Higher, Low, or Lower mode.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBQL0z8EiQU

      1. Green dots, one or two: Naturalplay (High, Higher, Low, Lower, High+Low, High+Higher, Higer+Lower, Low+Lower)
      2. Green dots, 8: 1-channel MIDI-Notes. Spaced: Notes Natural. Closed: Notes tight (humanization turned down/off).
3.Rainbow dots, 8: 8-channel MIDI notes. Spaced: Notes natural. Closed: Notes tight.

kiskadar69 Perform-VK manual is very limited. Maybe TC-Helicon thinks no one is reading the manuals anymore?

    • DennisMilsom
DennisMilsom Thanks - if I can ask what is "Natural Mode" and how do you choose it? btw I read the manual but it is unclear on these points, well to me it is.
      • November 28, 2020
    • DennisMilsom
kiskadar69 1.Naturalplay mode is when you play a chord into the vocal effect (via the jack input or MIDI) and you also sing into it and the vocal effect guesses the right harmony. In the attached video, this is shown in part from 0: 0 to 4:08. Also read the TC-Helicon Perform-VG User Manual, pages 6-9 describe the setting of harmony in Naturalplay mode in more detail than in the Perform-VK documentation.

      2. Notes mode is when you "play" the notes of harmony directly into the vocal effect via MIDI. This is only available for vocal effects with MIDI In.
