What's the maximum delay lenght for the Gauss Pedal?

    • JosefMartinez
PedroRodrigues Hi Josef Please be aware that based on the fact that the Gauss Pedal is a emulation of the Super-Saturated Tape Echo, when using the 3-knob interface allows intuitive control of delay time, sustain and volume, this would allowed you to control the length of time in between the input sound and the repeated sound. This was the exact same behaviour on many Tape machines, speeding up or slowing down the tape motor shortened, or lengthened the time that the tape took to travel from the Record head to the Playback head.
So to answer your question about the maximum delay length is directly proportional to the length of time in between the input sound and the repeated sound that in this case is of 2100ms

What's the maximum delay lenght for the EchoBrain pedal?

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Josef, the ECHOBRAIN provides up to 300 ms of delay time. I hope this helps.

PedroRodrigues Hi Josef please be aware that the all-analog, bucket-brigade circuit inside ECHOBRAIN provides up to 300 ms of delay time. At lower time settings, your echoes will be crisp and punchy; but at longer settings, you'll experience the natural high-end roll-off that is the hallmark of a great analog delay. I hope this helps

What's the maximum delay time for The Prophet pedal?

    0 99
    • JosefMartinez
PedroRodrigues Hi Josef, please be aware that the onboard 3-position switch lets you instantly set the maximum length of the delay time ,200, 500 or 1300 ms, allowing you to instantly jump from a fast slapback, to arpeggio-approved rhythmic delays all the way up to 1300 ms of delay. So replying to your question the min and max delay time for this unit are 27,125ms to 1302ms.

    erHi,
I hope you can explain to me why all my user made boards are gone.
I haven't been using the diffrent boards that I have made for a while.
Then today when I would go throgh all my boards 90% of the boards are gone and have been replased with other boards that are named User Board but these are far from identical to the boards that i have created for a coulple of month ago.
What is reason to this has happend?

    Best regards,
    Peter

PedroRodrigues Hi logp from your explanation I can only conclude that you have performed an update on your unit and or on your TonePrint App , as this will load new boards on the Plethora X5.

    Hi,

I am not sure where to post requests for pedals to be added to the Plethora X5.

I would really like the Spark booster in there.  I realize it is not a Toneprint pedal and maybe not even a digital pedal but it is a great booster and would make a great addition to the plethora.

I've got a used TC Dreamscape and it has nice sounding toneprint. I want to load another one but not lose current. Is there a way to know/get/read what toneprint is currently loaded via any app?

PedroRodrigues Hi,begmas2000 please consider that when a TonePrint-enabled pedal is connected
to your computer and you click the small “i” icon
in the lower left corner of the TonePrint Editor
window, a dialog box will show the following information:
      – Device serial number
      – Device firmware build number
      – TonePrint Editor software version number
      – TonePrint Editor software build number.

begmas2000 Hi thanks, but that does not say what exact tone print is loaded on the pedal right now?

    Hi,

How do I move my boards around?
I Toneprint I can only move the first 11 boards around (those i can see on the screen). The rest of them I can't move.

    Best regards,
    Peter

PedroRodrigues Hi logp, please consider that you can create and customize up to 127 custom boards with any combination of TonePrint pedals and populate each BOARD with up to 5 pedals including all TonePrint FX.
It allows you to store up to 75 TonePrints per FX for fast and easy recall.
Plethora X5 lets you combine up to 5 TonePrint pedals of your choice and arrange them in any order you need on each of the boards.
Please confirm that you are running the latest version of the firmware for your unit and you have installed the latest TP App released .

Is there any discussion about adding midi clock sync in a future update? I need this badly. I cannot get it to sync and only having tap tempo and not being able to dial in the bpm is a huge letdown now that I have purchased it. Thanks in advance.

      NicJonesMT Hi Stufras32.
MIDI Sync has been logged as a feature request, however at this time we cannot confirm if or when it will be implemented.

Fools. Your snobby, elitist or just plain lazy team has cost you another sale. It's on its way back as we speak. Try listening to your customers and take your views/ opinions out of it. Yes, it's marketed at guitar players but there's a whole other community of musicians that would buy so many of these that you couldn't keep them in stock if you would implement a few of the features that they have been asking for. I see people asking about midi clock sync and bpm input going back for YEARS now. The ports are there and the ability to update the firmware is there but you just cannot fathom anyone besides guitar players using this. Ok, have it back. Btw, many of us play multiple instruments and these features would be a godsend. And having half of your toneprint locked (including Alter Ego) is frustrating as all get out. You even make it seem like it's a privilege to be able to edit it in the description when you find one. Thanks for the non-answer, you seem really honored that I'm an owner of your product. Wake up.

The main reason why I bought tc pedal, was the ability to see dynamic response graphs (based on internet images). But the current software version doesnot show them, only knob range. Where can I find the old software version showing GAIN and DYNAMIC RESPONSE graphs? It's not on tc site anymore

    Hi TC

I am writing because I have some suggestions to improvements and new features for the next firmwire update for the Plethora x5.

I have to say I have been a little bit disappointed that you have not released a new firmwire update in half a year. Especially since there is still some fundamental issues with the pedal. But I am still hoping this pedal can be the solution for my permanent pedalboards setup, because it has a huge potential :)

    Here is the list:

    • Make it possible to assign a button to be a tap tempo buttom for delay, and/or tremolo. With the ability to sync the tempo for both delay and tremolo
    • An option to dedicate a button to switch to the next board (so the boardshifting can be done with one click, I know I can set up the board to do this if I press two buttons but that does not work well for me)
    • Delay and tremolo tempo that can be dialed in on the pedalboard with bpm (so i dont have to tab it manually in)
    • Momentary switch option, where the effect is only momentarily on as long as I hold my feet on the botton (like the Spark Mini)
    • An EQ pedal/effect for the pedalboard
    • An EQ pedal/effect for global setting
    • An option to use compression as a global setting
    • An option to use a booster effect/pedal (Spark)
    • An option to blend in the signal from the FX Loop
    • An option to boost or cut the signal from the FX Loop
    • An option to connect two effects together, so when you turn one of the effects on/off the other effect automatic do the same.
    • An option to seperate two effects, so when you turn on one the effects you automatically turn of the other effect and the same goes the other way. That means that both of the effects can't be turned on at the same time.
    • Expand the Looper pedal, so it is possible to have mulitple loopers that are in sync with each other.
    • An option to chose if you want the pedalboard to open up as you left it (that is the only option now) but also add an option to lock a pedalboard so it always opens up with the same effects turned on.
    • An option to save my presets in the TonePrint app, so I can store my presets in my app.
    • An option to save my pedalboards in the TonePrint app, so I can store my pedalboards in my app.
    • Make it possible to share presets and boards with other through the app.
    • Make it possible to to turn on and off the buffer.
    • Add more modulationseffects like: Ring Mod, Wah, Autowah, Leslie/Rotorie, Auto-Swell, June-60 Chorus, Freeze effect (electro harmonix freeze), feedback creater (Boss FB-2 and Digitech Freqout) and some synth options.
    • Make it possible to delete pedalboards in the TonePrint app.
    • Improve the sync option and the tracking for an expression pedal. Right now there is latency and bad tracking when using an expression pedal (I have tried with a several different expressions pedals and that does not solve the problem).
    • Make it possible to choise where in the effects chain to use the volumepedal (expression pedal).
    • Make it possible to edit how the volumepedal tracks (some volumepedals have a button for this) to set the lowest volume point to be fx. 2 (even though the pedal is heel down)

    - Regards Simon
