NicJonesMT Sorry for the delay in contacting you DainMartin.

      You have 2 options.

1 - You can click support at the top of the page and submit a spares request.

2 - Go to the "BUY" Page (See following Link) to find your nearest Partner/Reseller who should be able to assist you further.

      NicJonesMT Hi SDAIGLE8.
Normally MIDI implementation is in the manual for the Trirec or the FSB106A. For some reason these arent on the site so I will need to message our Innovations team to try and get a hold of this and have it re-uploaded.

You would need to connect the Boss to the FSB106A to send incoming MIDI messages to the Trirec, not connect the Boss to the Trirec direct and cut the FSB out completely.

As soon as I get a Response I will let you know.

Is it possible to assign one of the buttons on the switch 3 to the guitar boost feature?

    • Celestin
leah Hey Celestin! You can definitely do this. Here's some information from the device manual:

"Guitar Boost is also available by mapping the MIX button to a footswitch. This acts as a +6dB level increase for solos and the like. The MIX button is lit white when boost is ON and unlit when boost is OFF."

Check out page 13 of the User Manual for more info on assigning parameters to the Switch-3:

      DavidKnighton Hello Oyan68,
The FSB104a and 6260 are both legacy products, meaning we no longer manufacture them. You may be able to find an FSB104a from a 2nd hand website like reverb or eBay, but chances are you will not find it listed as 'new' from any of our super partners.

I have changed power tubes in my BC30-212, but I don't know what value I should bias to. The old (original) tubes was 16.85, but is that a hot or cold bias for that amp? What is recommented, and what are the lower and upper limits?

Can I use this with an 8ohm 112 cabinet?

    • Del12345
      DavidKnighton Hello Del12345,
The amplifier say minimum 4 Ohm load, meaning anything lower than 4 Ohm is not recommended. I take it you can increase the Ohm load without consequence.

    Hello,

I have a Bugera G5 (that I love) and I also have a Boss MS-3. I followed the instruction in how to make the MS-3 switch channels on an amp. The MS-3 switches another amp I have, but on the G5... uh that's a different story. It seems it switches the channels at times, and sometimes it doesn't. I bought the amp used, so I don't have the manual. I tried pushing the channel button and that doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help me out with this, please?

WilliamR Hello Joe, If you are using the Boss MS3, be sure you are using a TRS cable on the CTL out.

JoeRojas Yes, I am using a TRS cable. That's how the amp switching works on my other amp. And I did plug the TRS cable into the CTRL 1/2 Out. And from the CTRL 1/2 Out to the Footswitch in of the amp.

      • Channel Switching the Bugera G5 with the Boss MS-3
WilliamR Hello Joe, It appears the Boss MS3 may not support dual button footswitch function. So using a mono 1/4 inch cable should give you the ability to switch from clean to overdrive but not turn the reverb on and off.

JoeRojas I'll try a mono cable and see if that does the trick. Thanks
