Hi - I'm having the same trouble described in other posts, but none of the solutions has worked for me. I'm trying to integrate a Midas M32R into my Windows 10 PC through the KT USB card, with no luck. The card shows right up on my Macs, so it's not the card or its physical installation.
I'm getting the Code 10 error, and when I dig into the drivers I see that there's a second Microsoft driver attached to the device, and I think that's the problem. It doesn't matter whether I install the latest 4.59 driver or the 4.11 (these are the only options - no other legacy drivers on the site anymore). The installation goes fine, but the device won't work. I've uninstalled the device, restarted, reinstalled, unplugged the USB to let the computer re-populate the driver, etc.
The second driver is a Microsoft generic USB 2.0 driver, v.10. Do I need to somehow uninstall that one entirely, or will that mess up something else? I don't know how to do that anyway. I'd migrate to Linux, but I need to use this with vMix, which is Windows only. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave
Hi Gary - I think you're right that I was installing the standard DN32 driver, but just now when I installed the LIVE driver I got the same result. The driver returns a code 10 after several reboots and re-plugs. The DN32-LIVE appears under "Devices and Printers" but does not appear under "Manage Audio Devices," I suspect because the driver isn't actually working. Thanks
Thanks, both of you. None of this is working. And yes, my firmware is A12 on the card.
Just to make sure I’m understanding Windows properly… I can’t remove a driver without the device being connected, because the drivers disappear from Device Manager. So I’m connecting the mixer, removing the drivers, disconnecting, reinstalling the LIVE drivers, restarting, then re-connecting the mixer. Is there anything I’m not understanding?
I'm willing to spend the money to just go with a Dante network, except that all the cards are backordered for months. So I literally have a great console in my production studio that can't talk to anything but analog.
I appreciate the help.
Hey All,
We have a Pro2 at FOH with a DL251 on stage, I'm looking at two paths right now that I'd like to take:
I know that I could go with an Aviom personal monitor mixing system, especially with the introduction of Dante, but I do like everything about the DP48 so much more than the Aviom systems. We could go Aviom, but I think I would have to go with a D800+Dante input module because the D400 (to my understanding) is 48k...same problem as the DP48s.
But with the addition of the DN9650, would I be able to run two AES50 lines between this and the Pro2 and then use the AES50 3 port to send a 48k AES50 signal to the HUB4 for the DP48s?
I'll take any feedback on any of the matters mentioned? What would you do for personal monitor mixing system to integrate with a Midas Pro2? We will be using it for orchestra pits during musicals and big band jazz performances mostly.
Thanks.
@jbsounds, did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same scenario and would like to get it hooked up! Can you please let me know what you ended up needing to do to make it work? Thanks!! Or @Nigel67, do you have any solution?
Hi @gtcode
Yes, only 96kHz / 48 kHz. The idea behind the DN9630 was to be a lower-cost recording/playback option mainly geared towards our Midas PRO Series users. Prior to the DN9630, users would need to incorportate a Klark Teknik DN9650 w/ Dante or KT-USB card options (or third-party RPM Dynamics interfaces), which are quite expensive if you're simply looking to track shows or use for virtual sound check.
The 48kHz option further add to the market for our M/X32 users -- as most people are using the 48kHz sample rate. Further, many of our 'Blue' DL15x, DL25x, DL231 Stageboxes only operate at 96/48 kHz so this is in line with those product ranges.
Hi @gtcode
Apologies, it really wasn't meant to be implied that way. Nearly all AES50 peripherals relating to PRO Series only 96kHz and 48kHz, such as the DN9680, DN9650, DN9620, DN9610, All 'Blue' I/O boxes, and lastly the DN9630. For M/X32 users, I think the majority of applications where a DN9630 would be used would be in the DN32-USB card is replaced with somethng like the DN32-DANTE card -- and typically users set the sample rate to 48kHz.
Although it sounds like you were looking for a 44.1kHz solution and in that case, I understand your frustration.
Is it possible to purchase a new V2 processor/ bluetooth interface to install in older V1, We have a new V2 on order and what to use them as a pair. We have lost the app connectivity and have no way to update firmware, thouht this might be our only fix.
Cheers regards brad
Hi all,
We have forgotten the password for one of our DM8000's, is there any way to do a hard reset or recover the credentials somehow?
Following ?
There is a way to access a locked DM8000- I'll contact your guys directly to share.
David,
I am not able to connect to the DM8000 at all. Can you contact me?

Hello Todd, welcome to the community.
Your post may not be noticed by anybody who can help. I suggest that you raise a Care ticket for Technical Support explaining your problem. This is done by clicking on Support at the top of the page and then clicking the Create a Care Ticket button. This is only possible if you have completed all the required fields in your profile. Make sure that you fill-in every required field on the Care form.
Thanks. I finally got connected to the box. However, it has a very old version of firmware on it. I need v1.5 of the DM software. Does anyone happen to have that file?
Klark Teknik DM DESIGNER 3.1 and DM KONTROL 3.1 are now available for download, via the downloads section on the DM8000 product page.
DM KONTROL offers PC based customised control page creation and operation of a DM8000 DSP across an ethernet network, when deployed with the new DM801 serial to ethernet bridge.

I want to run 8 channels out from ableton, using the DN9630, through aes50 into my x32, and routed to my aux ins 1-8. Can that be done with this device, and how to I set up the routing with this?
Hi @AWhite
To send 8 channels of 48k audio from Ableton to the X32, send the channels you want from Ableton on separate USB channels (eg. 1-8). Assuming you send USB 1-8, you'll want to assign AES50 (A or B) channels 1-8 to eight input channels. This would be the routing: Routing:Inputs: Channels. For example, you could put those 8 channels on X32 channels 25-32.
Of course, you could alternately put them on 1-8, 9-16, or 17-24. The DN9630 will sync to the X32 through AES50 and Ableton will sync to the DN9630.
Is there an option to route them to 33-40 (aux ins) Maybe that's what you are showing in the image, but would I thin loose 8 ins on the 1-32?
You can remap those the Aux inputs but Aux In remap is limited to 6 channels. That's why I didn't mention it.
Need Help
First, can't update DN32-WSG firmware true Soungrid studio. In Multirack it finds soundgrid as a audio device and I can choose channels put audio does not go trough. In mixer routing is in Card, local and in input it is Card. Console have a latest firmaware. All the waves apps are updated.

Hi @Raato666 ,
Please could you advise how you are connecting to the DN32-WSG from your MAC? What is the OS version. Looking at your picture, it appears that you are using a USB device possibly. Maybe a USB to LAN Port converter? Did you run Waves Central and install and activate, and then Soundgrid Studio which installs the latest software. Can you take a look at the excellent video below as see if you have missed a step. It also shows how to patch the X32. What are the LEDs doing around the RJ45 connector on the card. They should be lit or flashing. Do you have a Windows computer by any chance or an older MAC with a lan pot built in that you can test the set up? In the top right hand corner of the X32, where it shows devices connected, are there two small green boxes one above the other. The top box showing that the clock is good and the bottom showing the waves connection is good? If neither of those are green then you have a connection issue. Unfortunately if it is a problem with computer / software set up, then you will need to contact Waves Support. Did you also put in a support ticket to us as I answered a very similar question earlier this morning?

There are also a number of other videos by the same person regarding the waves card which may be worth taking a look at as they also include how to patch audio.
