    Does anyone know where to find Tannoy speakers in New York/New Jersey | HiFi Speakers

    Looking to buy the Tannoy Cheviot but can't find any to listen to in NY/NJ

        Nigel67 Hi Brian, it appears that this shop sells Tannoy. You may have to give them a call to see if they sell Cheviots though

      Orlandobrianc Thx Nigel. They stopped selling them as well. I’ve heard from others that there is Apparently problems with factory support, price increases and a national distributor that wants to be a national reseller?

    Tannoy 2.8 Subwoofer - No Sound | HiFi Speakers

    My Tannoy 2.8 sub has suddenly stopped outputting any sound. The light at the back now flashes red whereas it used to be a solid green. What does this indicate? I raised a care ticket but this has gone ignored. Attrocious customer service from what used to be a reputable brand.

      Nigel67 Hi, I am sorry that the care ticket that you have sent in has not been answered. This is highly unusual as by the end of our days the queues are clear. You should have been sent an automated e-mail (check your spam folder as well) that contained a case number. Please can you send me that case number and I will investigate further. Our teams are working on resolving this issue but at this time all we can do is apologize and ask for your patience.       ChrisEdwards1 Hi thepresp, it appears most of our systems are now back online and the spares team have been able to start processing cases again, they do have a backlog so it may still be a few days before you receive a response, however, the will endeavor to reach out as soon as possible.

    Recap crossover of Tannoy SGM 10 | HiFi Speakers

    My pair of Tannoy SGM10 is more then 30 yrs old, like to recap the crossover with new capacitors, looking for the crossover wiring schematic to purchase proper capacitors. I can only find the schematic for SGM 12 - SGM 15. Where can I find schematic for SGM 10.

      • Recap crossover of Tannoy SGM 10
        KarmenKung Understand that, its just easier for me to order without taking the crossover out and check for the cap value. however is it allowed to show me the parts list of capacitors for the SGM 10 so that I can go order the caps? Or do you be able to supply new capacitors? Just like to find an easy way to recap my speakers. they are too old and need to be replaced.

    Rubber surround / Re-cone kit / Replacement for XT8F bass driver | HiFi Speakers
    Hi -- I raised a support ticket CAS-107908-P8Q1S2 nearly two weeks ago but have had no response, so I am posting here in case this ticket has been missed somehow. There is a small tear in the rubber surround on the bass driver of one of my Tannoy XT8F speakers. I would like to obtain the necessary replacement parts to deal with this (e.g. a replacement rubber surround, a reconing kit, or even a replacement driver if the latter are available). If someone is able to help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Many thanks!

    I've blown one of the tweeters, is there any way I can get a replacement or is there an up grade I can get and replace both tweeters?

    a customer returned 1 piece Tannoy Stirling GR to our shop due to tweeter is not working, SN is 8000 6400 140626 700360 , Can you send us a new tweeter for replacement under warranty ? then we return the faulty tweeter to you in Aug 2020.

    Silent Subwoofer | HiFi Speakers
    I have a Tannoy TS2.8 Subwoofer connected to a home theatre system via a Marantz NR1506 AV Receiver. 
     
    The subwoofer is part of a set of Tannoy speakers HTS101 XP and all work perfectly except the subwoofer.
    It has worked in the past but there’s no audio now. The standby LED is red when switched off and flashes red when the unit is turned-on ..it doesn’t turn green.
     
    Please let me know if there's a speaker fault or a fault with the set-up

      john0121 Hi Thomas, unfortunately this sounds like a fault with the amp board in the 2.8 and it will need to be serviced. Please fill out the the Service Request from via the Support button (top of the page) and a member of the team will arrange this with you.

      Nigel67 Hi Thomas. This sounds like the subwoofer is going into protect mode. There is a hardware fault on the amp module. Please go to the support tab at the top of the page and submit a service request ticket and a colleague will get back to you shortly. I spoke to one of the repair guys and he said that if the unit is no longer under warranty, then you could take the amp module out of the subwoofer (with power disconnected) and send just this to us thus avoiding any possible damage to the cabinet and speaker during transit. If it is still under warranty, then we would require the whole unit back as removing anything would void the warranty.

    is Tannor service and support working? | HiFi Speakers

    I have a couple of cases open with support for a service request under warrenty but I do not appear to be getting any responses. As there does not seem to be any way to look at the activity on a case I was wondering it the system is working or not.

    Does anyone know if the Tannoy service is being maned?
