    Greeetings!

I would like to say it tis a pleasure to return, but not the case. Amp went poof Saturday night. Submitted support ticket, received response today. This amp is 5 years old and the support tells me that Sweetwater (people purchased from 5 years ago) will fix the problem under warranty!  I hate people who never take 2 seconds to actually read what I have sent.

Can anyone please assist me with this. Thank you for your time.

      DavidKnighton Hello mgraao,
If the amp was purchased over 5 years ago, I would presume it to be out of warranty altogether. The longest warranty available for the product is 3 years with registration. You will likely need to send to an authorized service center as non warranty. I'll look into your case if I can find the ticket, but could you post the case number to be safe?

      DavidKnighton Hello mgraao,
I found your case and I'm very sorry to say I'm not very impressed at your profane response to our support agent. This constitutes verbal abuse. You should never speak to someone like that if they are trying to help you. If you are not satisfied with your initial response, you can convey your disdain in a professional and non-abusive manner.

Good morning, I was wondering if it was possible to convert an older LGFP14K from US mains to EU mains? If so, what would that entail?

      DavidKnighton Hello hiswkf,
Check the voltage spec on the rear panel near the mains input. If it does not specify operation up to 230V, then I would say not possible, at least not without some involved modifications.

Is there a way to find a list of authorized repair locations for Behringer equipment?  Hoping to avoid having to ship a power amp somewhere to be repaired.

I've spend the last half hour trying to just find a phone number to call and ask but apparently Behringer doesn't believe in phone support and instead wants me to jump through a ridiculous number of hoops to make a "musictribe" account just to ask a question or submit a complicated ticket.  This is more difficult than it needs to be to get support information.

      DavidKnighton Hello dexter74656,
You account already exists if you're posting on the community, so step one is already done. The reason we want you to submit a case is so that we can give you accurate information. We live in a world where online information can change without notice, so it's usually best to get it straight from the horse's mouth. Also it gives us a chance to help you troubleshoot the issue before you go through the trouble of paying for a repair.
Example, a known issue with a simple fix is easier for the customer than paying $100 for a technician to perform the fix. Finally, if it's something under warranty, then it absolutely has to be documented by our team so we can take positive action in other areas of product development. It seems convoluted, but I assure you there are good reasons why we do this.

      • Looking for Local Repair Outlets
dexter74656 Yes, my account is created, because I had to take 10 minutes to create one in order to make this post. I'm not looking for a tribe, I'm not looking for a new social media network, I just want access to support.

I already know the device needs repair and that it's not a user-error kind of situation (given that it has already been repaired once and failed again), and I'd like to explore options for this to be done locally. That is why I am trying to find if there is a list of authorized repair locations to see if someone is in my area that can take a look at it.

Please let me know where I can find such information or who I can contact to receive it. If the only option is to create a ticket to ship the amplifier in, then I'll move on to a new company instead.

    Dear team,

unfortunately there is an ongoing problem with the control knowbs on the TC Electronics RH450. The quality is poor, they crack after some time, fall off etc. The internet forums are full of users which have the same problem. I could now open a ticket and ask TC Electronics for spare parts. However this will not solve the problem as the quality remains poor.

Question 1: Why is TC Electronics not capable of solving the issue - especially as the quality of their products is otherwise impeccable -  why is this not bothering TC Electronics that such a small part can't be chosen in better quality - it is obvious that TC Electronics is not manufacturng this spare part but buying it from third party - buy better, rework your specifications!

Question 2: What are the specification for these knobs so I can search for high quality parts myself

    Best regards

    Harald

PedroRodrigues Hi Haraldo, We are very sorry you feel that way and we aim daily to provide better products and better support , but for that tp be possible we need a close interaction with our customers so we can understand what points need correction and improvement. With this in mind I would suggest to submit a Tech support case so we can follow your claim of the issue of the buttons and then pass the case to Spare Parts so, if still available you can order the buttons you mentioned. Please follow the link below to submit the support case mentioned

    Hi,

All my old email addresses and contacts at Gruppen get bounced?? Mind you its been some time requesting info.  Ive joined up the music tribe now do hopefully there is somebody is willing to help me.

I run a service repair business in victoria Australia.
I currently have a E-Series power amps from a church install from NSW which are obviously out of warranty. I have a temperature related issues where CH2 after 15 minutes begins to splatter and eventually cuts out.  Led signal indictors shows valid Signal although when the level is increased on the faulty channel the amber limit led flashes. Can hear the level although its very very low. I’ve tried freezing components on the signal board however i believe its Class D issue not confirmed as yet.

I’m making a 8-way IDC signal input extension cable to swap channels to determine if its signal board is the issue or its the class D amp? Parts on order to do this.

I was hoping to get a service manual to make things easier to track the fault down with the oscilloscope.

Im happy to sign a confidentiality agreement if that works? Have done for many other brands in the past.

    Hope your able to help.

    Many thanks

Nigel67 Hi EightyHD. I am very sorry, but it is against Company policy to send out Service manuals to any one apart from our partners and repair centres. Australis Music Group in Sydney are our repair centre in Australia.

Thanks Nigel67 for you answer. I was expecting some response to say we have one and only service centre for the whole of Australia. Glad this approach isn't upheld for an imported car as you'll have to transport it to Sydney and wait 6 months to have it repaired, I feel the ideology behind one service center "Music Group" for every known product on the music tribe list is short sighted and not in the best interests to the products customers? Then again, does Lab Gruppen or product X actually notify in writing if their product develops a fault 'out-of-warranty' it can't be repaired locally? Please reconsider, as I've expressed initially to indicate I'm happy to sign a CA on a service manual just as I did with FP series way back? In addition, why do I have to sign-up with Music tribe just to be able to communicate with Lab Gruppen..? I'll try my best to request the info from Music Group however I'm guessing a similar response, that they don't give service info to the public? Abet being a business and service tech for the last 30 years in the broadcast industry. Thanks anyway.. Failing this, I'll have to nut it on my own :-)

my 12 year old  FP6400 stoped working. One channel stopped working / after 5 minutes is only noise on output .

    Second channel working normally.

There is +- 155V on main power supply but on power trasistors is +9V and -2 V. Second channel have +-7V.

All of the power transistor are OK

Can somebody help me ? Do anyone have the scheme then I could try to fix it myself?

Hello! I'm running a PLM 10000Q amp for mains with PLM 14000 amps for subs (linked input from the main amp). The subs are arranged as a center cluster, a delayed horizontal array. Question is, how should I get a mono input feed into the sub amps? I know that  I could get a separate mono output from mixer/stagebox into the sub amps, but can I do it somehow without this routing? Or can the summing be done in the DSP (Lake Controller) somehow? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

      DavidKnighton Hello leimum79,
Using the Lake Controller software, go to MODULES > I/O CONFIG and click on the input mixer. Here you can unmute both analog inputs and raise the respective faders to unity. This will essentially sum a L/R signal going into the module.

      DavidKnighton Hello t3g3lst3n,
That model is quite legacy. We don't have this information readily available, nor do we divulge service manuals to the general public. I would suggest opening a tech support inquiry so we can help you get it repaired.

        t3g3lst3n ok thaks

i rather mend it my self as only a capacitor, as a retuen for service sounds expensive for a monitor amp.
ill junk it else as i think it has its eaten so many speaker when it blown a fuse on one power side and sent 40volts DC to speakers over the years. so call it quits with it, last of my lab1300 that was working.
