    Hi, I got a Tannoy Arena Subwoofer from a friend for repair. I managed to get the amplifier board out of the magnificent(!) box and also got the power supply out. When on there’s 7.7V between CD- and CD+. If the amp isn’t in standby I assume that should be much more. 

    Things would get a lot easier from here if I got a service manual or schematics. Any hint will be appreciated! Tia Eduard. Power supplyPower supply

    Anyone have experience with the VXP series? Would two VXP12 be suitable for an acoustic duo for small gigs?

      The VXP12s are my favorite self-powered speaker we offer. Within our umbrella of brands, the Turbosound iQ12 are also nice and well suited for an acoustic duo, however Tannoy's dual concentric drivers in the VXPs are on a whole other level of clarity. Just know if you plan on pole mounting them you'll need these

    Customer support is unresponsive and I have questions. I am trying to replace power supplies for my QFLex16 m-1 and sb pairs. When we removed these from one of our spaces the power supplies were left behind. I have reached out to spare parts tickets, the customer service portal and anywhere I can try to get ahold of people but have had no luck. trying here...

      The Care ticket is currently the only way to request technical support, service and spare parts from any of the Music Tribe companies. Did you get Care tickets raised? You should be able to see them through the Care Portal. Some people have missed responses because the emails were routed into their spam folders. 


       


      If you tell us the Care ticket numbers, we can get someone to check into them for you.

      hey, so I am having trouble getting in contact with anyone at music tribe... this is my question:
      "Hi,
      I am writing to you in regards to my account. I registered a couple of products back in 2019: Midas M32; Midas MR32; Midas DL16... so I already had an account under this specific email address... I recently made a purchase of a Midas MR18, I believe I purchased it on 05.28.2021 from sweetwater.com;

      I am about to login to my account to register my new product, I notice that it says "user account does not exist" So I am wondering what is going on? I have my username and Password written down... why does it not exist? Anyway, I had to register all over again, and I assumed the products I purchased back in 2019 will appear on my account... to my disbelief, it does not..... Can you please tell me what happened to the registered products I had on the account? I just registered my "Mr18" and would like it if my other products that I registered back then reflect on my account please. thank you.

    I need your help, because the tweeters of my Tannoy Mercury M20 speakers broke down.
    Do you know where I could find a new pair to replace them?
    I don't mind if they are not the originals series.

    Tweeter measures are: external diameter 10 cm
                                      internal diameter 7 cm

    Hello, I really like this pair of Tannoy system 1200 monitors, but a few days ago, when I was mixing, unfortunately, I broke the tweeter of the left speaker. I asked a repairer to check it. It was a problem with the tweeter. This Tannoy system 1200 monitor has been with me for 20 years. I hope to continue using it. Can I find a new tweeter? Maybe there are better suggestions?

        Nigel67 I am sorry that the news wasn't good, but as my colleague mentioned in their e-mails to you, the Driver is not longer available, it is obsolete. We do not have any stock and there is no possibility of getting any more. Unfortunately there are also no alternative drivers we can supply.

    I have a Tannoy TS2.8 Subwoofer connected to a home theatre system via a Marantz NR1506 AV Receiver. 
     
    The subwoofer is part of a set of Tannoy speakers HTS101 XP and all work perfectly except the subwoofer.
    It has worked in the past but there’s no audio now. The standby LED is red when switched off and flashes red when the unit is turned-on ..it doesn’t turn green.
     
    Please let me know if there's a speaker fault or a fault with the set-up

      john0121 Hi Thomas, unfortunately this sounds like a fault with the amp board in the 2.8 and it will need to be serviced. Please fill out the the Service Request from via the Support button (top of the page) and a member of the team will arrange this with you.

      Nigel67 Hi Thomas. This sounds like the subwoofer is going into protect mode. There is a hardware fault on the amp module. Please go to the support tab at the top of the page and submit a service request ticket and a colleague will get back to you shortly. I spoke to one of the repair guys and he said that if the unit is no longer under warranty, then you could take the amp module out of the subwoofer (with power disconnected) and send just this to us thus avoiding any possible damage to the cabinet and speaker during transit. If it is still under warranty, then we would require the whole unit back as removing anything would void the warranty.
