I had a fix to this problem before, and it appears it has been deleted.

I have a Windows 10 laptop with the XUF driver 6.13   (I have deleted and uninstalled all other drivers)

X32 running 4.02 and the XUF card installed.

The console inputs are set to Card

I have a session in Pro Tools (v2020.5), set X-UF as playback engine, set i/o to all defaults*
1 to 1 the outputs to each track and I'm getting nothing

No playback, and not able to record.

PedroRodrigues Hi Thomas Please be aware that this Card is a legacy product so ruining on more recent OS's might cause some issue. Please also confirm that you are connecting the card directly to your computer or via FIREWIRE 400 or via USB 2.0. Please also confirm if you do have installed the USB or the FIREWIRE drivers for the connection you are using.
Never the less I would suggest to perform a firmware update for your card. To access the resources for this card please follow the link belowhttps://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0AQK

Hi there, I am trying to add my new S32 interface to my X32 RACK mixer. The unit is connected correctly using the AES50 A port on the mixer, and the same port on the X32 RACK mixer using the correct CAT-5e Ethercon cable. The interface seems to be recognised, but in the AES50 Setup page on the mixer, the device window for the AES50-A port is not showing an image of the S32, as it did for my S16, but is showing the message 'UNKNOWN'. I have tried re-sonnecting several times, but the message is persistent. The interface appears to actually work, and the phantom power controls all work correctly, but the HEAD AMP gain seems to be behaving a little oddly, not following the gain setting on the mixer very well. The interface is not following the gain settings accurately, and 'jumps' in larger increments than the encoder on the mixer is giving. Rather weird. I have also tried using the local head amp control option in REMOTE on the same setup screen, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. I should also add that both units have the latest firmware updates! Am I doing something wrong with the interface? If anyone has any ideas - I would be very grateful! Thank you :)

GaryHiggins Hello Aaron, did you look at it in X32 Edit? wondering if it identifies it properly there? You are using X32 firmware 4.02, Edit version 4.01 and S32 version 1.7? I would try another cable to start with, sometimes a minor defect can make things strange. The increment jumps is normal, the 2 devices don't use the same ranges, one (I think the S32) increments in 2.5 db, the mixer in .5 db increments. So the S32 won't update till it reaches its increment point. I was assured very early on that even though the values in between were not visually updated, the actual gain was. I might suggest trying to verify the firmware of each device again. If it were me, I might try to reinstall it in both units.

Nigel67 Have you tried another cable? For test purposes a standard computer ethernet cable will do and 2 or 3 m in length. Also try plugging the S32 into the B port and see if it gets recognised. i know that you already said that you had checked the software versions are the latest, but could you just check one more time please.

I'd like to do a live virtual concert with small band using the Behringer mixer, but ideally rather than run through the Bose speakers, run the mixer directly to my computer. I have the USB connector cable, but it appears to expect sound out from the computer. Is there a way I can have a zoom meeting and have the mixer feed sound into the computer?

RexBeckett You should be able to select the mixer as sound (Mic) input in Zoom Audio settings. The mixer USB device is normally labelled USB Audio Codec. You need to set the sample rate to 48kHz for Zoom.

gsewell52 Thanks, Rex - that worked. Not sure where to set the sample rate to 48kHz - is that a mixer setting?

      • Behringer X1222USB to Zoom
RexBeckett You can set it through Windows Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording -> USB Audio Codec -> Properties -> Advanced.

I am upgrading my studio, and I need more inputs than what I currently have on my tiny Audient id4 audio interface.

I have the Behringer Powerplay system just lying here, and it would be very nice to be able to use the P16-I as the primary or secondary audio interface with my studio.

I use an iMac 27" late 2015 computer with USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 2 connections.

I also have an iMac 27" mid 2011 with USB 2.0, Thunderbolt and FireWire 800 connections.

Would it be possible to use some kind of converter cable between ADAT and USB or one of the others?

Or do I need a new audio interface that also has ADAT?

    Thanks

GaryHiggins Well the P16-I has 16 adat inputs which is delivered by two 8 ch adat ports, so you get 16 digital input ch’s max. You can also use 16 analog inputs with it but the total Ultranet out is 16 ch’s period. Some combo of the 2 sources analog/adat that are output via ultranet. Not 16 adat and 16 analog. 16 total. As an Adat system it’s 16 ch’s in max and converted to Ultranet out (to connect to P16M’s or P16 D’s or both). Still very cool and useful but you are limited to 16 digital adat input ch's with NO adat out. You would need something that outputs adat to send to the p16i so you can attach and then use your P16 M’s as monitors. Or 16 analog inputs to ultanet out. As part of an adat system it could be very useful but I think you would need an additional interface with adat outs to do so.

john0121 Hi Hormi77, you can link buses together on the XR18. Just click on Bus 1 on the right side of the app and then the Bus1 fader which appears in the Main Fader position. Click channel along the top and you will see that you can turn the link on. Bus 1 will link to Bus 2 and they are assigned to Aux 1&2 by default. You can repeat this for 3/4 and 5/6 if required.

hormi77 Thanks John, but if i understand, i should conect two wires in two aux, for each chanel, and conect it to one wire (to my inear) correct?

john0121 The only way to have stereo out of the Auxes is to link the buses in this way. Left signal will be on Aux 1 and Right signal will be on Aux 2, you then can send this into the Left/Right side of you in ear monitors.

MusicallySavage Yes on all accounts. Another way is to simply use the head phone port and through the App you can assign what goes into those headphones. LR, pre/post fade, individual buses as well as linked buses.

So I made the mistake of buying a new Mac with Catalina installed and I’m using an X32 with the latest firmware connect via usb. Audio works great for roughly 3-5 mins before I get digital distortion and clipping. I’m assuming this is due to Catalina. When I switch out the new Mac for my older laptop running High Sierra, I get no issues. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

DaveMorrison It's not a common problem with Catalina. I haven't had a problem with Catalina on a new machine. Are you using a USB-C connection and or a hub?

SeanGerrity Hi Dave. Turns out the expansion card was OLD and bad. It was the X-UF (I believe) card. I had an extra interface card, (X-USB) and everything is playing nicely now. Thanks so much for the quick reply.

Any news about a release date for the Wing Dante Card. It was mentioned in February but nothing after that.

In this pandemic times, it would be a great solution for broadcasting setup. We just acquired a new "Wing" and it's reserved for that purpose.

Hi, I’m a complete novice so apologies ahead for a basic question: I have a Rode Wireless Go lavelier microphone which I’m trying to mix with music through the Behringer Xenyx 1202. However, there doesn’t appear to be a signal received. The mic receiver is battery charged and the output is through a 3.5mm stereo jack, which I have to use an adapter for a 1/4 in jack into the mixer. My only clue is that it has something to do with the voltage and may need to have a preamp to boost before it goes through the mixer? If so, what preamp? Or have I missed something else?

RexBeckett The Rode Wireless Go receiver outputs a mono signal on both sides of a stereo 3.5mm TRS connector. If you use a simple 1/4" adapter to connect to a balanced mixer input, the two signals will cancel completely. Instead you need to split the stereo into dual mono and just use one of them. A 3.5mm TRS to dual XLR-M stereo splitter cable like this would be suitable. The maximum receiver output is +3dBu which is quite low for the mixer's Line inputs but should be OK for the mic-level XLR inputs with a low gain setting.
