Hello I just bought the Xenyx x1204 usb and I'm using it for my solo acoustic shows. I use a QSC cp8 monitor and I'm wondering if someone could tell me where the line out to the monitor is? Do I have to use the XLR channels on the back?  Or am I missing something. I just use one two channels on the mixer. Channels one and two for mic and guitar.

Paul_Vannatto The Aux outputs are at the top and to the left of the 4 RCA jacks. I would suggest that you use the Aux 1 so that you can use the Aux 2 for the FX.

I'm a drummer that sings and runs sound for my band at small gigs using an X32 Rack.  I'm going replace my Shure Beta 56 on a boom with an AKG C520 head worn mic and want to route it to both a mic input (for singing) and the talkback input (for sound).  I used a Y-cable to do this with the Beta 56, but the C520 needs phantom power.  I plan to use an input channel from the Rack to provide the phantom power, but I am concerned I'll fry the talkback input (no phantom power) with the Y-cable.

Can I use an inline phantom power blocker on the talkback input to accomplish the above?  Any concerns about damage to the Rack (TB input) or the mic with this setup?  Will the input level at the TB input be sufficient with the phantom power blocker in place?

Why is there no RH450 or RH750 bass amps for sale, no one has stock?

Hello there. I recently purchased TC Helicon VoiceLive Touch 2(VLT2) and I need to start using it in my studio to create harmonies based on the chords of my songs. I've tried to connect VLT2 directly to my PC through the USB cable but unfortunately my VLT2 is not detected in my favorite DAW(Studio One 5). So my workaround is to route the VLT2 main outs to my audio interface(Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen) and then connect my audio interface main outs to the VLT2 Aux Input. Now my question is: Can the VLT2 Aux input be overloaded if I connect the said audio Interface's main outputs(TRS Outputs) to the VLT2 Aux input?

I'm having trouble sending OSC strings in MIDI SySex to the X32.
I have set the OSC over SYSEX in the Remote Settings page, selected the card interface (X-LIVE) USB connection and am sending the string which was made using the SysexOSCGen software to send the correct string to start the recording for the X-Live.

I have confirmed that the X32 is getting MIDI (I can mute/unmute channels)

I have confirmed the OSC string is correct as I can send it via TouchOSC and the session will start/stop recording

But when sent as MIDI SYSEX string over USB it just wont respond. I have also tried via MIDI din from a spearate source (Midi Designer Pro on iOS)
The string I am sending is: (as output by SysexOSCGen)

    OSC: /-stat/urec/state 3
    F0 00 20 32 32 2F 2D 73 74 61 74 2F 75 72 65 63 2F 73 74 61 74 65 20 33 F7

Using Bome's MIDI translator to send directly to the X-LIVE MIDI USB port with RAW MIDI

    Any clues?

Paul_Vannatto Glad to hear that the SysexOSCGen is helpful. Make sure you have the "OSC over MIDI Sysex" enabled in the Setup, Midi Control screen. For USB midi, you might also need the "Card MIDI" enabled.

    No guitar signal.

    Tuner is working

    Mic is doing well

Do I need to calibrate the system?

    If yes, how?

    (Not the Hormony G XT)

kiskadar69 I think the original Harmony-G cannot be calibrated.
      So...
      1. ...if you plug a cable into the GUITAR THRU and operate the GUITAR pot, you don't hear the guitar signal on the GUITAR THRU output? and...
      2. ..if you don't plug a cable into GUITAR THRU and operate the GUITAR pot, you don't hear the guitar signal on the left XLR output?

is there a way to use windows volume to get a correct answer from the sound card?
If I increase it to the maximum or decrease it up to the value of "1" nothing changes,
if I set it to "0" it mutes the audio.

Recommended SD cards for the X-Live card?

I know that the specifications are to use SDHC cards no bigger than 32gig. I also know that there is a way around this size limitation, but I am not interested in discussing that in this thread.

I just want to know in the USA what standard commercially available 32s SDHC cards do any of you recommend buying. What are the brands and the exact model #s? And if there are any that should never be used for something like this I would like to know that also. I am looking for the full size SDHC card not a Micro with an adaptor.

I am thinking of getting some of these cards -  SanDisk 32GB Ultra SDHC UHS-I Memory Card - 120MB/s, C10, U1, Full HD. I understand that the Class 10 (C10) is a fast card and should be good for this kind of use.

This is for a musical that will be shot with a few cameras and edited later. There will be an X32 Compact mixer in the pit to multitrack the pit orchestra (around 15 mics) plus one track that will be a sub mix of the vocal mics sent to the X-Live card from the FOH mixer. The vocal mics will be going into the FOH mixer thru a Midas DL32. We have done this a few times before but we haven’t recorded the pit multitracking them. The pit is large enough that we won’t be micing them for amplification, only for the recording for video.
