Hello, I purchased a RD-8 from Andertons and it did not come with the US Plug slide adapter.

I was wondering how I can get one or where to get one?

I messaged Behringer support a few days back but no one has replied yet.

Is there anywhere online I can pick up the US Plug slide adapter thing (sorry do not know the proper name of it)

    Thanks

Hello community. We have a Midas M32 and are live streaming for our church. We want to have separate EQ, Comp, etc. for various inputs for the live stream compared to in-house on the one board and send it out. Can someone walk us through how to do that? Thanks.

Nigel67 Hi skipweaver50. Just to confirm, you want the M32 to be mixing the In House and also the Live Stream? The only way that you will be able to have separate mixes for some inputs would be to physically have two input channels set up for the one input. You would have to be extremely careful though that you do not send both channels to the same outputs. I take it that the In house audio would come from Main L and R outputs and your Live Stream would be derived from a couple of Bus Outputs. In which case, you would have to make sure that the input channel you are going to use for the stream is not assigned to the Main L and R outputs and in turn the input channel meant for the in house is not assigned to the stream busses. It could get complicated but is doable. To do this routing, select the input channel that you are going to use as a duplicate for the strream. Go into the Config tab for that input and you will see a Source option. Here, you can select where you want the input signal to be taken from. You will however be sharing the Mic Input gain across the two channels as the physical input is plugged into one input XLR which only has one mic amp. Therefore changing the mic amp gain on one channel will affect the other. It would be advisable that once set, any adjustments are made using the digital trim on the respective channel. Hope this is what you are looking for.

      ccbw just a thought,
i use4 busses (or 5 if i run house sub) when doing house and stream..
2/3 busses for house, 2 for stream .
This lets me set up ratios for both and have faders work properly for both simultaneously..
Loud drums need to be 'upped' for the stream as they will be amplified less in the house and so on...
so your eq and dynamics are a constant...

Effects follow suit as enough or 'desired' fx in the house can be overwhelming on a stream mix if they are the same levels/proportions.

For the longest time I've only used my voicelive rack in stereo.  Saturday, I went to a friends house for an informal jam and due to limited inputs decided to just go mono. I plugged into the left output to the board and changed the I/O in settings to mono. No effects! No harmony, no delay or reverb. I must be missing some other setting.  I even plugged headphones directly into the headphone jack of the voicelive and no effects there either.  I feel like this might be something really simple I'm missing and I'm just having a brain fart. Can anyone think of what I'm missing?

Hi all, we are trying to use Extron products to control a Behringer X-Air XR18. Extron provides a specific driver for this product, but we have found that the command strings on that driver are wrong. They are using X32 commands, and the X-Air uses a slightly different list.

Extron is willing to update the driver, but they are asking us to obtain the official list of command strings for the Behringer XR18. Could you please provide such a list? We have found unofficial information at the Behringer World Wiki (https://behringer.world/wiki/doku.php?id=x-air_osc), but Extron is asking for an official list provided by the manufacturer. Thanks!

Paul_Vannatto I find that requirement amusing, because there is no way Extron developed their product for the X32 with an "official" list. That is because the only official list was a 2 page document published in 2013. Extron would have had to use Patrick's Unofficial X32 OSC Protocol document to develop their product.

It is even worse for the X-Air OSC dialect, since there has never been an "official" list. All we have is a text file from one of the developers provided in 2014 (and corrected by one of the forum members). I have been the one updating the list as new firmware was released, but in a csv format for my X-Air apps (Live Toolbox, SysexOscGen, etc). And I was the one who posted that list on the Behringer World Wiki. So that is as official as you are going to get.

Thanks, Paul, and congrats for the excellent job in compiling all this information!
I'll send your "unofficial" list to Extron and hope they include it in a new driver.

Paul_Vannatto Thanks alanan. By the way, they might want to also develop a driver for the new Behringer Wing. There is an "official" OSC document provided on the Wing's product page (written by Patrick with my help).

    Hello and welcome to everyone.

During the recording process in Studio One5, my Wing crackles and pops.
I've already loaded the most recent firmware and USB driver, and I've experimented with various latency settings.
Is there anyone else who has had similar experience?
My laptop, which has 32GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 processor from the 10th generation, runs Windows 11.
Is there any potential that win11 is to blame? Ngobrol Sehat

G system serial number  6538513 silver .  Can someone tell me the software that this model of G system would have had uploaded from factory and if it requires any updates for software  compared to to the later (last units made) . I was told that this serial number is with the IB Buffers and updated effects 4.02 version.

I have yet to get to grips with understanding the unit ...can these details of software version etc be viewed from the units display?

Any assistance would be appreciated .

    Tony

PedroRodrigues Hi Martini22, the G-System iB-Modified was the latest addition to the G-System family. FX and presets-wise there is no difference between this and any other G-System that has been upgraded with the latest firmware updates. The main features in the iB-Modified are as follows:
The iB-Modified G-System features the ultimate 3rd generation input buffer modification, designed by Italian electronics guru Massimo Mantovani. By changing the analogue input design, as opposed to the silver version, as well as a number of components, a super transparent tone that offers loads of punch and a snappier response has been achieved.
All in all there are three different version of the G-System input circuit, the standard, Limited Edition and the iB-Modified versions respectively.
After the Limited Edition was discontinued, all standard G-Systems that were made got the 2nd generation input buffer version from the Limited Edition. Approximately six months later we introduced the iB-Modified version, and all G-Systems made after this have the 3rd generation input design from in the iB-Modified version. Unfortunately via the serial number I cannot specify exactly what Firmware was loaded on your unit from factory, nevertheless I will leave you a link below to access the latest firmware and the process to update your G-SYSTEM to latest Firmware releases Version 4.5 https://wsi.li/dl/X9LbYD7xGZ32kKzdv/ Thank you

Martini22 Hello Pedro and thank you for the reply. I read on the rig talk that unit having a serial number higher than 6539340 is IB Mod version so mine is apparently 2nd gen. if correct. I will have to live with that versions issues I guess . The so called white paper by Laird Williams is hard to actually locate on this site ...can you send me a link to this for a pdf download to help me get going. The old links are dead and cannot see it anywhere ..just comments about the paper. Many thanks Tony Martin

On my lead setting I tend to get some feedback and noise. So I remembered the sentry is on the plethora. Having owned a boss gate on the past I thought easy just set the threshold however in practice I'm lost. I twiddled all the knob but I get a mix of distroying my sound, making it tinny and decrease of volume.
I have read that it's not good but it carries the Sentry name which everyone raves about.
I put it down to not knowing what I'm doing. Is there any information or instructions anywhere about this? Any help welcome
