    I have the larger X-Touch (8 channel, 9 faders). Here's what happened...

It was fully functional until I pressed the INST buttom in the Encoder Assign section at the top. When I did that, everything froze. No buttons would work. Now when I restart it, the firmware version comes on (1.22) for about 3 seconds, then it goes off. After that, the only lights on are the backlight of the channel lights (nothing displayed on them) and the ring around the main encoder button. Nothing I do at that point changes anything.

    • I have reinstalled the firmware, which it does successfully.
    • I have nothing connected except the power cord (in order to remove as many variables as possible).
    • If I turn the faders up before I restart, it brings all the faders down once I start it. So the mechanical part of the faders is working.
    • If I restart and hold down the channel 1 Select button, it will let me change modes (both LEDs show what they are supposed to) and it will save it. But when I restart, there is no change in function (though the mode I saved is the mode it is in).

I bought the unit about 5 years ago, but never took it out of the box until two weeks ago. It has about 5 hours of use on it. When it worked it was an amazing machine.

    Any ideas?

I recently bought a mixer. it gets very hot where there are ventilation holes. So much so that it hurts to touch. In the store where I bought it, they say that it’s normal ... But it seems to me that this is a very strong heating. How can I contact the manufacturer to find out if this is provided?

Wing Mixer, I have the latest Firmware:1.12.8; I am on Logic pro X, but I get the old MCU Controller, Not the MCU Pro, MCU's old recognize version But, if I controller as a MUU Pro, it is not known version?(on the attach). And I don't have a volume on the tracks??? There are very unheard tracks, so I have to blow up with the Compresser from LPX etc. Why??? BTW, There are lot's of signals on the Wing Mixer, but I send via USB, there is very very little signal, unacceptable? Thanks a lot for the reply.

    Hi guys,

I wish to record my DJing practice.

I've connected the DJ controller audio out to the Xenyx Q802USB and then connected the Xenyxto the MacBook via USB.

I've opened Audacity and set the audio setup in the way you see in the picture.

But it does not record anyhting...

What did I do wrong? Thank you!!!

    Tony

Having a bit of trouble with distortion in the Flow 8 headphone feed from Reaper. Recording with Flow8 into Reaper is fine and plays back without issue through the computer speakers and even with the same headphones through the PC. The issue is only heard in headphones connected to the Flow8.

The use case is typical multitrack recording where I record a track, then play it back through the USB connection while recording the next track. The sound coming back is very noisy/distorted.

Attached is the device setting in Reaper. Anyone know if this is a setup issue or possibly a bad Flow8?

Paul_Vannatto Top line "X32-EDIT [X32-00-2C-BD, IP: 192.169.5.20]" simply shows that the X32-Edit has successfully connected to the X32 console. The first part ("X32-EDIT") is the name of the app. The center part is the console name ("X32-00-2C-BD") and the last part is the IP address ("192.169.5.20").

CraigFowler Paul is of course correct. If you were referring to the top line of the selected channel (Choir 2,) the top line (+29) refers to the amount of gain applied by the preamp. The orange line below that is a visual representation of how high it's set vs how high it can go (+60.) Chances are you're tapping a signal post-preamp for your streaming, so any changes you make to the preamp gain will affect the level hitting your stream.

    Hi

I have just bought a Behringer NR-300 Noise reducer and would welcome some advice please.  I was looking for cusrtomer service and ended up here.

I normally connect my pedal board via a send/return to my Fender amp but the send/ return  connections on the NR-300 didn’t seem to work properly when I plugged them in.  It will be me, but I have now managed to connect them with the IN/OUT sockets – see attached sketch.

The instructions were fairly basic so some advice on using the send/return and whether the NR-300 is in the correct position in the pedal chain would be helpful.

    Thanks for your help

    Ian
