KlausMock Nice update but maybe it would be helpful to provide a more in depth documentation of that features as well. At the moment every user must practice „trial&error“ to find out what the feature should do. At least a little bit more verbose release note will help.

GaryHiggins In the Wing private Facebook user groups, you can ask about anything. 4 people will respond, 2 will tell you exactly how it all works but be totally wrong, 1 will call you an idiot for being so stupid not to know it already and the last person will actually have your answer...but not till after 20 other people discuss the other 3 replies in minute detail :-) (I just wanted interested parties to know there WAS an update) I do agree with you, these updates are as close to a manual as it gets. It would be great if the extra time was taken to detail each feature and function. Honestly there is so much with the Wing I don't have a handle on yet it will take me a while to digest the new update, and many features before it even. Part of the joy I guess...

KlausMock First of all, facebook is one of the least social, or should I say unsocial, platform which should be used as a main communication channel of a company. This community forum here should be the main channel of Behringer. I do not use facebook, instagramm or twitter since they are only interested in selling private information of me. Second, A&H, for instance, is very poor in creating update packages for their products, but what they do, is to create updated documentation every time when they release a feature update for one product. Even if I like to have new features, more information about that features are important to use that features, otherwise that feature is pointless for much users.

Hi can someone help me with this?

Is it possible to add a fader to control the left and right main volumes separately?

Something like the atached image (it's edited).

    Thanks!

Paul_Vannatto Unfortunately it is not possible to add separate L and R faders to the main fader for this reason. Every app communicates to the X-Air console using OSC commands. There is only one OSC command (/lr/mix/fader) for the stereo main fader. What you can do though, is adjust the Main LR pan to the left or right to get the desired results.

Got the Behringer C210 off of Amazon and according to the Sweetwater webpage it also includes an FM radio. I noticed that when I received the package I got an email notification that my package from Sweetwater had been delivered. I decided to order through Amazon as the return policy is better as they don't require you to pay for return shipping should you find yourself with a defective product.

I called Sweetwater when I could not find the FM function and was told that they didn't support products not purchased through them. I looked at the return label and saw that the return address was "GearNuts.com" and there was an 800 number on the label. I also noted that the return address for GearNuts is exactly the same address as Sweetwater.

When I called GearNuts, they immediately connected me back to Sweetwater tech support which passed me off to MusicTribe for support.

Previous experience tells me that I could be waiting a while for an answer and I could not get any of my phones to link vis Bluetooth and it really isn't covered in the instruction booklet.

I also noticed on a Behringer video that it touted Studio Grade Echo, but I have yet to find it.

I am a pro-level user of Behringer, Turbosound and Midas.

I think this is the first product that I will be returning from these guys..........FM radio is listed on the Amazon site as well (see pictures below).

PedroRodrigues Hi CrookStewartIII please consider that I understand that the description available for this product when it comes to the Music PLAYBACK options are not clear on the several partners you have mentioned.
Nevertheless, the information they were trying to entail is that when in PLAYBACK MODE via Bluetooth the unit allows the integration with external tools such as MP3 Players and Streaming of Online Radio.
This means that the C210B does not have and integrated MP3 PLAYER or a FM RADIO but offers the option to playback via Bluetooth audio from MP3 Players or form an Online Radio.
      Thank you

My screen is 5120x1440 so the sequencer (of the TD-3) taking up the whole screen is annoying. See attached screenshot to see how ridiculuos this is.

Please allow me to use a normal window size. Thank you.

PedroRodrigues Hi masi have you tried to press the key, which resembles the Windows logo, this will force the desktop's taskbar to display at the bottom of the screen. You can then click the full-screen program's icon to minimize it, or you can press the "Show Desktop" bar in the far-right corner of the taskbar. I hope this helps. Thank you

I own a V-tone GMX 1200H and I am having trouble getting the amp head and FCB1010 on the same channel. I just want them both on on channel 1

I follow all the steps in the amp and midi controller manual and the Channel number of 1 on amp still keeps flashing and number dose not go solid. It says in the manual it will stop flashing when the amp and foot switch are on the same channel and I have also went through all the steps to set the foot controller to channel 1 and the 1 on the amp does not go solid I just want to use the foot switch to call up effect patches, channel switch and effect on off control and expression pedals I basically want to use it as an effect controller for the

V TONE on the amp head but I can’t start programming until I get both the amp head and the foot switch on the same channel and the channel number on the amp head goes solid.. plz help I’m finding it hard getting info about GMX V Tone and FCB1010 setup the user manuals are very vague. And any advice how to program the FCB1010 to be pretty much used as a pedal board to switch between FX in the head and channel switch and effect on and off and expression pedals would be great. It mentioned in the GMX V Tone manual the the FCB1010 is a great MIDI controller and channel switch and effect on and off for the FX built into the GMX 1200H V Tone.

PedroRodrigues Hi SimonSimmoEliot please tak ein to account that the FCB1010 has 10 number buttons, two expressions pedals and some other controls and options. A common use is to press a numbered button the FCB1010 and have your guitar modeler change to another sound preset (sometimes referred to as a patch). Button 1 might be a clean guitar sound and button 2 overdrive/distortion. Common examples of guitar modelers used with the FCB1010 are Line 6 POD gear and Behringer V-Amp units. If your gear is MIDI capable, the FCB1010 can probably control it.
When you press a button the FCB1010, it sends one or more MIDI commands to your connected MIDI gear. The most common and useful command is a Program Change command, generally referred to as a PC command. PC commands are used in MIDI gear to change the current preset/patch. When the FCB1010 sends a PC command, your MIDI gear will receive it and change to the preset selected by the command. The process is very fast, so you will not lose any measurable time in the change.
To make the FCB1010 work with your gear, you will need to do a few things.
      • Connect a MIDI cable from FCB1010 output to the MIDI input on your gear
      • Set your MIDI gear to a specific MIDI channel (there are 16)
      • Set the FCB1010 for the same MIDI channel (if they are not on the same channel, they will NOT work together)
      • Program each of the buttons on the FCB1010 to select the desired option on your MIDI gear
      • See if it works. If not, first check the above. If that does not help, read further
You can program your FCB1010 in one of two ways. The most basic is to use the FCB1010 buttons to program it's MIDI features. This is sometimes referred to as the "Riverdance", as it takes a number of button presses to program a single function.
The other programming option is to use a software editor. There are editors for both Windows based PCs, as well as Mac based versions. To use a software editor, you will generally need the following:
      • Computer (Mac or PC)
      • Two MIDI cables
      • Computer MIDI Interface
It will also take some patience, as some trial and error is to be expected before you get your gear working like you want. The software editor is the quickest way to get all going and allows a simple approach for backup and restore should other things fail.
      First Steps
The brain inside your FCB1010 is a small firmware chip. Many versions of firmware chips have been made by Behringer. Chip version much earlier than the 2.3 series have enough bugs and problems that you should consider getting a firmware upgrade. See here to find out what version you have, whether you might need to upgrade. and how this is done.
Assuming your firmware is OK, you will need to calibrate your two expression pedals. Many FCB1010 units ship with expression pedals that do not work correctly. The calibration process will fix this, and only takes a few minutes. See here for a step-by-step outline of this process.
The steps below outline the process for programming a preset for the FCB1010 to control a preset/patch on a single piece of MIDI gear. The process for dealing with more MIDI gear is similar and will be covered later.
      Set the MIDI Channels
The MIDI channel on your FCB1010 must match the MIDI channel used on your other MIDI gear. If they are not the same, MIDI commands sent buy the FCB1010 will just be ignored by your MIDI gear. Try MIDI channel 1 on both for a start.
To set the MIDI channel on your FCB1010, do the following:
      1. If FCB1010 is turned on, turn it off
      2. Press and hold the Down button while you turn on the FCB1010. Keep holding it down for about 5 seconds. When you see the small green light come on, release the button
      3. Press the UP button once. The green light will have changed to the MIDI Function selection.
      4. Press the 1 button. The 1 button LED and green light will begin to blink. The display will change to show you the current MIDI channel for PC command.
      5. Press the UP button once. The green light will move to MIDI Chann and the display digit will begin to blink.
      6. Press the 0 button and then the 1 button. This will change it to MIDI channel 1. The display should now show 01.
      7. Press the UP button once. The green light will move to the MIDI Config selection.
      8. Now press and hold the Down button for about 5 seconds. The display will change to 00.
You have now programmed the FCB for the first PC command to MIDI channel 1. To set a different channel, the steps are basically the same except you enter a different number in the sixth step above.
      Program a Preset
Now lets program the 1 button to select preset 23 on your MIDI gear.
      1. Press the 1 button.
      2. Press and hold the Down button on the FCB1010 for about 5 seconds. This puts the FCB1010 in programming mode for preset 1.
      3. Press the UP button once.
      4. Usually one or more buttons will now have their LEDs on. The green light will be at select.
      5. If the 1 LED is not on, press and hold the 1 button until the LED comes on.
      6. Press the 1 button again, and it should begin to blink.
      7. Press the UP button once. The display should begin to brink showing the current PC command.
      8. Press the 2 button. Press the 3 button.
      9. Press the UP button once.
      10. Now press and hold the Down button for about 5 seconds.
You have now programmed the 1 button to send a PC command of 23 on MIDI channel 1 to your MIDI gear.
You can program the other buttons in a similar fashion. Select the desired button in step 1 above. You can change to a different preset for your MIDI gear in step 8.
Set Expression Pedal A for Volume
Volume control is the most common use for Expression pedals. MIDI volume is handled via MIDI Change Controller (CC) commands. When you press the expression pedal, a CC command is sent based on how far down the pedal is pressed. Each CC MIDI command includes two parts. The first is the CC that is being changed and the second the value it is being changed to.
MIDI volume is standardized as CC#7. This is what most MIDI gear supports, but check your documentation to be sure.
      5. If the 8 LED is not on, press and hold the 8 button until the LED comes on.
      6. Press the 8 button again, and it should begin to blink.
      7. Press the UP button once. The display should begin to brink showing the current CC command for expression pedal A.
      8. Press the 0 button. Press the 7 button.
      9. Press the UP button once.
      10. Press the 0 button twice (which sets the minimum volume to zero)
      11. Press the UP button once.
      12. Press the 1 button. press the 2 button. Press the 7 button. This sets the max volume to 127, which is generally what you want.
      13. Press the UP button once.
      14. Now press and hold the Down button for about 5 seconds.
You will also need to set the MIDI channel for Expression A to the same channel you selected above.
      4. Press the 8 button. The 8 button LED and green light will begin to blink. The display will change to show you the current MIDI channel for expression pedal A
You have now programmed the FCB1010 to use Expression Pedal A for volume control. The process for expression pedal B is similar expect you will be using the 9 button in steps 5 and 8 and step 4.
      Common Problems
Do did all the above and it still does not work. The most common problems are:
      • MIDI cables not connected correctly. See above for details
      • MIDI channels do not match. They must be the same.

      More Advanced Steps
The FCB1010 is a fairly capable device. It has 10 banks of 10 presets each, for a total of 100 presets. Each preset can send up to five separate PC commands on five separate MIDI channels. This means you could control 5 separate MIDI devices with each preset.
It also includes switch functions that allow your FCB1010 presets to also control non MIDI gear (like the channels on your guitar amp) that can be controlled by 1/4" sorting jacks. This would allow you to have one FCB1010 preset set your amp for the clean channel and another preset the distorting/overdrive channel.
The FCB1010 can also send up to two CC commands for each preset (these are separate from the expression pedal commands). This can be very useful to turn specific effects on/off within your MIDI gear. For example, Behringer V-Amp users might want button 6 to turn the distortion on/off for each preset.

      DavidKnighton Hello Excel321,
The manual does not describe any manual reset for the fx. I would suggest try holding the PARAM encoder pushed in and/or the TAP button while powering the unit ON to see if either combination triggers an FX reset. If not, then your device may have a faulty FX processor. If then, please submit a tech support or service request inquiry via the SUPPORT tab at the top of the page.

PedroRodrigues Hi NickNunez, please confirm that you have configure the unit with Ableton as followed:

In a new Live Set insert a MIDI track .

Select Session View and Device View if not already selected.

Select Instruments from Categories on the left side of the Ableton Live window and drag/drop an External Instrument into the MIDI track. You should see the External Instrument title bar inside the device view.

Set "MIDI To" to the TD-3. (If you don't see it, either your computer's not seeing the TD-3 or you started Ableton before turning it on. If it's the latter, turn the TD-3 on and go back to the previous step.) MIDI channel will probably be 1. I'm going to guess that you can use Behringer SynthTool to set the MIDI channel on the TD-3 end if necessary.

Set "Audio From" to the input number on your audio interface.
Now, you make a choice: Or do you want to use Ableton to trigger the TD-3 to play notes, or do you want to use the TD-3's internal sequencer to generate the notes.
To make these changes, you'll go to Preferences in Ableton. To make Ableton send MIDI notes to the TD-3, select the Link/MIDI tab in Ableton, and where it says "Output: Behringer TD-3" or something to that effect, turn Track on. If you'd like to use the TD-3's internal sequencer, turn Sync on instead.

To deal with latency,It will be helpful to turn the Ableton click track on and play quarter notes from the TD-3 so you can tune the track delay times so the TD-3 plays nice with your internal instruments and VSTis in Ableton.

The D button toward the lower right side of the window in Ableton toggles the Track Delay controls; this lets you add delay time to the software synths and drum machines so your computer can send sync or MIDI to the TD-3, the TD-3 can generate sound, and your audio interface can receive the signal and burp it all out through your speakers without the TD-3 lagging behind the soft synths.
