The main reason why I bought tc pedal, was the ability to see dynamic response graphs (based on internet images). But the current software version doesnot show them, only knob range. Where can I find the old software version showing GAIN and DYNAMIC RESPONSE graphs? It's not on tc site anymore

Hi good day. I have a problem in my flashback 2x4. I bought it last dec. And suddenly the first footswtich which is bank A is broke. The magnet in the footswitch is divided into three pieces :( Now the problem is, it is not activating/triggering the switch when i step on it because it's stuck. Is there any replacement for it? And where i can buy it?

Hope there's a replacement parts for it :(

Nigel67 Hi. If you purchased the unit brand new last December, then it will still be under warranty and you should send us a service ticket by going to the Support tab at the top of the page and in the new window that opens scroll down to the Service tab and submit a ticket. If you have opened the unit, then unfortunately this has voided the warranty. You can still send the unit in for non warranty repair, or you could purchase spares by clicking on the spares tab instead of the service tab in the support page.

Just got the pedal, learning how to use for now! But I think I miss something comparing apps (both win and android) with screenshots on the web. What app should I use to be able to see those dynamic response curves for compressor? Cannot find them in neither latest windows or android apps

TC-Mike The Graphs only show when you actually change related parameters like Threshold etc via app interface or when using the physical knobs on the pedal while connected to app

begmas2000 This is what I see, The circle on knob range graph moves when I rotate knobs, but no dynamic response graphs shown on neither tab! How can I see the top two graphs from the first screenshot?

    Hi Guys,

I use a Ditto4x with Reaper and i was wondering why my saved Loop1 always starts at the start of a Track in Reaper. Ì Only want the MidiClock to be send to the Ditto4x not the Start CC

How can i get around this?

PedroRodrigues Hi Bjorn please be aware that regarding Mid specs, these are the supported controllers:

      MIDI Spec
Responds to MIDI Channel 4 (hardcoded – can’t be changed)

      CC3 Looper 1 Rec/Dub/Start
      CC9 Looper 1 Stop
      CC14 Looper 1 Clear
      CC15 Looper 1 Level
CC20 Looper 1 Hold to Store
      CC21 Looper 1 Clear Backtrack
      CC22 Looper 2 Rec/Dub/Start
      CC23 Looper 2 Stop
      CC24 Looper 2 Clear
      CC25 Looper 2 Level
CC26 Looper 2 Hold to Store
      CC27 Looper 2 Clear Backtrack
      CC28 Decay “Level”
      CC29 All Loops Stop
      CC30 All Loops Clear
      CC31 FX On/Off
      CC85 Parallel/Serial Toggle

the FX respond to Prg change message 1 to 7

Midi CC commands/ Prg change messages are programmed into a midi track / clip in your DAW or sequencer (Midi channel 4!)
I would also suggest that you update the firmware for your unit, for that please follow the link below:

    Hi,

I'm trying to get my Konnekt 8 to work on firewire with an iMac running High Sierra. I know I'm not the only one having problems with that - but right now I am hoping that the 3.6.1-driver will help me.

But - it isn't anywhere on the TC website even though they do mention it at least once in the software release notes...

    HELP me, please... :-)

I already updated. but any file format i copy to the ditto+ can't be played "file samplerate not supported" or "track too shot"
i tried every sample rate from 24bit "as advertised" to 16bit. and al;so tried mp3 with mp3 files they dont get recognized by the ditto as if the patch is empty

      TC-Marcus Hey there!
      Sorry to hear that.

I suggest you delete all folders from the pedal (backup the ones you need, if any).
      - Then remove usb.
      - Wait until pedal has rebooted.
      - And then insert usb again
      - And then try transferring a file with a supported format

The list of supported formats are

Only .wav in these specific formats
      • PCM mono 16bit @ 44.1kHz
      • PCM stereo 16bit @ 44.1kHz
      • PCM mono 24bit @ 44.1kHz
      • PCM stereo 24Bit @ 44.1kHz
      • PCM mono 32bit @ 44.1kHz
      • PCM stereo 32bit @ 44.1kHz
      • Float mono 32bit @ 44.1kHz
      • Float stereo 32bit @ 44.1kHz

Related questions: can you record normally with the pedal, i.e. when not using a backingtrack?
If the problem persists, please write again.

Same problem. I'm observing the supported formats. Wav files seem to transfer, the sometimes become accompanied by BT.wav file, then the pedal may or may not load it up. Usually not. Sometimes an endless cycle of processing occurs. Sometimes the audio files appear on the pedal as if by magic when ascending or descending through the folders on the pedal buttons. Direct recording works fine. Sweetwater has replaced the pedal for me, same problem. Really would appreciate some guidance here

    Hi,

Recently added a tc electronic integrated preamplifier with serial number: 568058 to my small collection. Can I get some more info on the origin of this pedal, perhaps a manual and can someone tell what power supply I need for it?

    Cheers

I bought the pedal and was satisfied, but playing with the LP mode, the looper, made me confused.

Pressing it once activates the red flash indicating the first loop is recording, pressing it again saves it and starts playing it from the start. Easy and logical.

However, what made me confused, is that the very first step on the pedal button comes in to the recording creating a little gap to the start. Therefore, if I assume my first loop starts from the pressing of the button, and start playing on the very same moment, I assume wrong - there is a half-second pause instead of my first notes.

    Fault or feature?

PedroRodrigues Hi Markus, please be aware that to record Loops you should set the Delay type selector to LP.
Make sure the pedal is in bypass mode (i.e., the LED should be off).
Feel the groove and prepare for recording.
Then tap the pedal’s footswitch to start your recording and play.
      The pedal’s LED flashes red.
To stop recording, press the footswitch again. Alter Ego Delay immediately switches to playback mode and starts playing the loop. In playback mode, the LED is green.
To overdub your recording, press the switch once more. The LED now blinks.
To delete all recordings, double-tap the footswitch.

PedroRodrigues Hi Markus, can you confirm that the pedal is in bypass mode when that happens?

      • TC Electronics Alter Ego Delay
markusraivisto Can't confirm. How can you tell it's in bypass mode? EDIT: The led should be off. I'll check it! But how can you turn it in to bypass mode, if it's not?

PedroRodrigues Hi, Markus, to do that you need to disconnect the pedal and turn it on its back. Unscrew the back plate of the pedal and look for the two-small dip-switches in the upper left corner.
The upper DIP switch (the one closer to the power in jack), switches between True Bypass mode (default) and Buffered Bypass mode.
Set the DIP switch to the desired position as you can see on the image
When finished please remount the back-plate
