RexBeckett Hi Adriano, the power connector is a 3.5mm TS jack with tip positive. It will work with a supply of 8-32 Volts dc at very low current. Use 24-32V if you want to run it at pro signal levels (max 14dBm).

Does anyone know where I can get a NZ/AU adapter clip for a TC Nova Delay pedal (ND-1)?

I tried our national distributor, they are unable to get them, and MusicTribe never got back to my support ticket; it has been like, a week now.  If anyone has one lying around I am happy to pay shipping; I don't want to purchase one more power adapter for the e waste landfill when I have a perfectly good one sitting here.

    Cheers :-)

sseymour7 To be clear, do I have to "upgrade" if I already own VSS3 from 2018 and just want to update it (if necessary) to ensure compliance with Mac OS X Catalina (10.15.7)?

PedroRodrigues Hi Stan if you have a VSS3 TDM you will have to follow the link above to update to a VSS3 NATIVE as this is the only version available for Catalina as the TDM version as been discontinued for some time now

    Hello Everyone!

I've bought a TC Electronic M3000 in a hungarian shop via internet and I have a dispute with them because I think they have sent a used, damaged one instead of a brand new, factory sealed one. They have sent it in not the original box of M3000 but a completely different kind of equipment and the box hasn't contained any owners' manual and other documents. (I have a TC Electronic 96K Finalizer...I've bought it an other shop and came in its original box with these kinds of documents). My M3000 hasn't got its own display saver clingfilm and has some raw cosmetic wears. The equipment has got a little label with this text 'Audiotest OK, ANBOR'. Does this little label use to be found on every M3000, or is it a label sticked by other person, for example in a service?

Can you tell me the proper year, when has this M3000 been made? The serial number is 1823167.

    TC Item number is: 820088011

    Thank you very much!

    Best wishes (Andrew from Hungary)

PedroRodrigues Hi Andrew Zsolt, please be aware that as you know the M3000 is a older unit manufactured a few years ago, so the date of manufacturing will not be recent. The sticker that says audiotest ok is a official factory testing validation that is done at the factory and it look legitimate. On the other had as I'm sure you are aware this is a commercial relationship between yourself and the store and we cannot intervene, we in fact are the manufacturer but we cannot guide the commercial interactions in the market of shops and reseller as they are responsible for there own actions and interactions. In the end if you feel that this unit is not up to your standard you can always return the unit and request a return.Thank you

zsairbedroomstudio Dear Pedro Rodrigues! Thank you for your fast reply and the informations. My argument with the shop will be ended soon, because the hungarian seller will take back the used, not factory sealed, damaged (and maybe repaired) M3000 from me the original buying price (356.900HUF) and they will send a new after paying the difference the new purchase price and the old buying price. (115.000HUF) I hope everything will be OK. Best Wishes: Andrew

    Thanx,

    cheers.

I picked up a used Wiretap and have been having some issues. I hope to find out I'm doing something wrong before returing it.

I was having some weirdness with the bluetooth connectio to my phone (Pixel 2, Android 11) where is seemed to disconnect and reconnect and odd empty track listing would show up. Sometimes double the same track I just made. Sometimes the track I just made didn't show up until I removed the Wiretap app from my phone and start over.

I figured maybe the formware was out of date. Checking the settings it is. Currently firmware 1.0 and giving me a notice that there is a update available to 1.1.

I've gone throught he process on a Macos High Sierra 10.13.6 machine. Each time the FirewareUpdate app tells me "firmware upgrade successful". Yet, when I connect to it agin, it's still at 1.1.

There are different instructions for doing this on TC Electronic site and the FirmwareUpdater help and elsewhere.

    Here's what happens:

    Device: WireTap boot

Click the update button and the LED is solid Green for the first 15% then blinks.

    Update progress bar hits 60%:

        WIRETAP Icon on Desktop dissapears

        Progress bar returns to 0% and Status = "Firmware upgrade successful" {it is not}

    LED blinks Orange

    Update button NOT greyed out

    Click up update button again

Solid Green first 15% then blibking Green

    Update status bar hits 80%

    Repeat above

Third try all the same except Update progress bar hits 85%

Forth try same as the 3rd

I've looked at the troubleshooting on all the instructions and the only thing that would relate to my situation is quitting any MIDI devices on my computer. I don't beleave I have any running? Or, I'm just not able to find what it would be and how to quit it.

So, hoping I didn't get a bum device and there is something I'm missing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

    UPDATE:

I've now tried this on a different computer (macOS Catalina 10.15.3) with the same results.

I did notice a difference in this instruction and the Firmware update instructions in the Manual. This instruction doesn't say anything about holding the footswitch when connecting power. The "Device" listed in the FirmwareUpdater now says "WireTap" instead of "WireTap boot".

Still get the same result. Update progress bar got up to 90% on one of three attempts and then says the update was successful. Connect via Bluetooth, go to setting and nope, firmware 1.0.

There are differences between the instructions in Help in the FirewareUpdater, the instructions in the manual and, these instructions. Which ones are correct? Note: the instructions in the manual say that the Wiretap will automatically restart. I haven't seen any evidence of a restart happening.

PedroRodrigues Hi Collin please use the Firmware update process present on the product’s page as that process is specific for the latest firmware available for your unit, for that please follow the link below

      • Wiretap Firmware Not Updating
chuckles66 I have used those instructions several times including just now. Still same results. A couple things to note: these instructions say to select the pedal from the dropdown list in Step 1. There isn't a dropdown list presented in the firmwareupdater. Following these instructions the Device is set to "WireTap boot" automatically (one of the other instructions it's set to "Wiretap". What should be the Device be showing as?
        • October 1, 2020
      • Wiretap Firmware Not Updating
chuckles66 These instructions also say that the device will restart itself. The doesn't seem to be any indication that it does restart. No pause in the LED before going straight from blinking green to blinking orange.

      • Wiretap Firmware Not Updating
chuckles66 Also, you see that these instructions say "..Update button...turns green, click it". The Update button in the firmwareupdater doesn't turn green nor does the firmwareupdater say anything about STEP 1 or STEP 2.
