It broke. This is the A-B switch on a Voicetone Harmony G-XT.
    How can I replace it?

WilliamR Hello Mike, We can get you the replacement parts through the support portal. If you create a parts ticket, someone from our parts department can get this done for you. This is where we can line everything up for you to get all the parts you need to fix your Voice tone harmony gxt.

mikecurtis I can see my tickets in the queue and I see someone left a one line comment providing an apparent a part number, but I don't see how to get the part ordered

mikecurtis I wish. I find this process pretty cumbersome. I can see my tickets in the queue, and I can see someone responded with a part number, but I am getting no way to order the part. I think I have 2 tickets in the parts queue, (because I couldn't see the first one)

I've opened 2 support tickets and have not gotten any return contact regarding the issue.  One ticket was inexplicably closed out as "problem solved".  I've tried calling TC helicon directly but, despite it being within the regular business hours, am told y automated message that I've reached them outside of regular business hours.  I just want to get my pedal fixed. The dial and 1 of the stomp switches has broken off just through normal use. I'm a regularly gigging musician and this pedal is a fixture for me.

JacksonMace I agree with you ... I phoned as well and instead of connecting to a "real person" it went to dial tone. I'm a newcomer to Tribe but so far ... it's been frustrating. Just purchased a VoiceLive 3 so I sure hope the customer support will materialize from somewhere.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Jackson, if you have not yet done so I would recommend submitting a support ticket. This can be done by going to the support tab at the top of the page and scrolling down to the relevant are i.e. Service, Technical, Spare parts. If you do already have a case open could you please share with me your case number and I will investigate further.

JacksonMace Thanks for the reply Chris. I was thinking that informational questions like mine didn't really require a support ticket. I kind of assumed those were more for repairs. I see someone else has replied to my question. It looks as if they searched the site and found someone else's questions that were similar to mine and then sent me the replies. Anyway thanks for getting back to me.

JacksonMace Oh ..... and when I did look at a support ticket ... it requested a serial number. My question was being asked so that that I could decide whether or not to buy a Voicelive 2. So I couldn't proceed.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Jackson, I am glad to see your question was answered and please also accept my apologies I did not see your previous question. For future reference if you did require to get in touch with us via the ticketing system there is a Pre Sales section which will not request information such as serial number.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Cheyenne, I hope you are well. Looking at our system I can see responses have been sent out on both of your cases and my colleagues dealing with them are currently awaiting a response. It is highly possible the responses could have routed to your spam or junk folders so I would recommend checking these locations. Please let me know if you cannot find them and I will ask for them to be resent.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Cheyenne, I have asked the response to be resent to the email address on your account along with the new one provided. My only other thinking as to why the responses may not be reaching you is that your email provider is blocking them, this is just a guess at best though and I cannot fully confirm this is the cause. It may be worth trying to see if you can set approved accounts just in case this is the issue.

Hi! Is there some sort of block diagram that what goes into a guitar processor. I can't understand why the drive turns off the amp, and the compressor lives its own life, can work on its own as an Overdrive and not respond to the output equalizer...

PetGerbil If you've got that diagram, then I assume you've got this one ?...
I'm not too sure myself what goes where, But I think the "drive" block just replaces the gain part of the "Amp" setting when activated, leaving the other settings of the "Amp" unchanged.
At a guess, this is because it is much quicker to swap between 2 or 3 settings of the "Drive" part, rather than have to reload into memory all the settings of the "amp". Most of which wouldn't need to be changed if all you need is more gain.

Potapov Yes, thanks for the diagram. Glad that wah-wah goes in front of the drive. You can find a good resonance to create an amazing sound for heavy metal. After I figure out where the fault is and what makes the overload in the guitar path...

All dies bietet der GoXLR mini.

How do I connect headphones to my Mic Mechanic?

    • Yrsa
kiskadar69 It is not possible directly. One possible solution is to plug the output of the Mic Mechanic into one of the inputs of a mixer and plug a headphone into the headphone output of the mixer.

My "on" footswitch for my Harmony Gxt pedal popped off at my show this past weekend. I'm not sure if there's a peice missing but I have the print and the button/switch. I tried to pop it back in but it just pops back out. I contacted support and hoping to hear back. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how to fix it? I tried searching online as well and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I enclosed two pics to this as well.

Revised - as I just received a USB-A to USB-A cable from Amazon and it doesn't work either...

I've had a VL3 for several years, but gave up on it shortly after getting it.  Now I'm back. Firmware is v1.0.20 ! and needs updating.

I have tried using both a USB-A to micro-USB B cable and a USB-A to USB-A cable, both of which I have tried plugging into my mac and appropriate USB port on the VL3.  I have downloaded the VoiceSupport2 app.  When I run it with the VL3 on and plugged in as above, the program tells me there are no MIDI capable devices available.  It doesn't see the VL3 despite power on power off, unplug plug in, and anything else I could think of.

To add insult to injury, if I click on the "More Info..." button for 'more information on diagnosing connection problems, I get a black screen telling Safari can't find the server (music-group.force.com).

HELP!!!!   I am out of options with a VL3 with very obsolete firmware.

djmorgan17 Thanks. Just put in Care Request. But why is my Mac and VoiceSupport2 not seeing the unit???? And which USB connection are you supposed to use???? or can you use either???? Manual sucks - all kinds of information that should be in there isn't. Is there another resource with more detailed info like the above, and what each of the effects actually changes (gender, portamento, etc.) ??? And why is the More Info link broken - where on the web is the current info on troubleshooting connection problems??? Thank you.

      • Updating firmware ??? Help - my mac w VoiceSupport2 doesn't see my VL3
Nigel67 Have you checked that on the VL3 Midi Source is set to USB as I mentioned in my previous message.. This is the usual reason that the MAC and Windows machine are not seeing it. There is only one USB connector that you can plug a USB memory stick into which is the Type A. The Voicelive3 when purchased, would have been supplied with a USB Type A to a USB Type B Mini for connection between your PC and unit. Have you visited our KB article section which may have answered your connection problem? https://musictribecommunity.powerappsportals.com/en-US/knowledgebase/category/?id=CAT-01007

djmorgan17 While we're communicating, can you tell me where VoiceLiveEditor (VL3 Free) from voiceliveeditor.com is safe to download. I find editing the VoiceLive 3 presets from the device itself extremely cumbersome and time consuming. Using an Mac-based editor with a full screen to work with would be so much easier. Would love to know your or others experience with it. Thanks!
