    My "on" footswitch for my Harmony Gxt pedal popped off at my show this past weekend. I'm not sure if there's a peice missing but I have the print and the button/switch. I tried to pop it back in but it just pops back out. I contacted support and hoping to hear back. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how to fix it? I tried searching online as well and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I enclosed two pics to this as well.

    Revised - as I just received a USB-A to USB-A cable from Amazon and it doesn't work either...

    I've had a VL3 for several years, but gave up on it shortly after getting it.  Now I'm back. Firmware is v1.0.20 ! and needs updating.   

    I have tried using both a USB-A to micro-USB B cable and a USB-A to USB-A cable, both of which I have tried plugging into my mac and appropriate USB port on the VL3.  I have downloaded the VoiceSupport2 app.  When I run it with the VL3 on and plugged in as above, the program tells me there are no MIDI capable devices available.  It doesn't see the VL3 despite power on power off, unplug plug in, and anything else I could think of.

    To add insult to injury, if I click on the "More Info..." button for 'more information on diagnosing connection problems, I get a black screen telling Safari can't find the server (music-group.force.com).

    HELP!!!!   I am out of options with a VL3 with very obsolete firmware.

        djmorgan17 Thanks. Just put in Care Request. But why is my Mac and VoiceSupport2 not seeing the unit???? And which USB connection are you supposed to use???? or can you use either???? Manual sucks - all kinds of information that should be in there isn't. Is there another resource with more detailed info like the above, and what each of the effects actually changes (gender, portamento, etc.) ??? And why is the More Info link broken - where on the web is the current info on troubleshooting connection problems??? Thank you.

        Nigel67 Have you checked that on the VL3 Midi Source is set to USB as I mentioned in my previous message.. This is the usual reason that the MAC and Windows machine are not seeing it. There is only one USB connector that you can plug a USB memory stick into which is the Type A. The Voicelive3 when purchased, would have been supplied with a USB Type A to a USB Type B Mini for connection between your PC and unit.       djmorgan17 Just got the update file from Jason, loaded onto a USB and successfully downloaded it. Am now updated to V2.2.00 build 366 and VoiceLive2 now sees the unit. Thanks for the help.

        djmorgan17 While we're communicating, can you tell me where VoiceLiveEditor (VL3 Free) from voiceliveeditor.com is safe to download. I find editing the VoiceLive 3 presets from the device itself extremely cumbersome and time consuming. Using an Mac-based editor with a full screen to work with would be so much easier. Would love to know your or others experience with it. Thanks!

        PetGerbil I highly recommend the Voicelive editor software. (for what my opinions worth ) It makes everything soo much easier. It's author used to post on here,he was/is a very knowledgeable and helpful fella, until..... well,y'know... Uli B turned up and destroyed the community. It's totally safe.

      lavargas Is there any "hand switch" (for turning on and off the harmonizer from a PerformVG) you can place near the sound hole of your guitar while playing. I've got the switch 3 but can't used it because I use footdrums in my gigs. Anybody? Thanks

        PedroRodrigues Hi lavargas unfortunately it does not, if you wish to deactivate an effect, simply tap and the button will glow WHITE when active and turn off when inactive, you can also activate the harmony via TC HELICON Mic MP-75.

    Hello>I'm the original OWNER of my VoiceLive2 and when I got it out of the box-it was a snap to set 'her' to rec. on Channel 3 (played by my left chord hand) from my YAMAHA PSR S910 keyboard. I never once used it as a stompbox rather placed her right on my music stand & pushed the buttons w/ my right hand.

    For 1 thing trying to get Voicesupport pgm to work was a day-mere ! I kept trying upteen times until this AM when as soon as i booted & got to the desktop, I opened Voicelive 2-it opened ! Then, I plugged in my Live2--they synched up but then I could ONLY update-which it did YET, i still have the same issues with the harmonies triggered by my ONE MiDi keyboard (That always worked b-4) did not read my midi notes or chords played by my left hand. i finally got it to work--UPDATED_ and it would NOT play the vocals as i played them. I always was able to play Sus4ths & slide to a simple major chord. i.e. C-E-F-G that slides into C-E-G.

    Now please note, I had had to put my beloved VL2 in her case as I've been fighting a real battle w/ stage 4 throat "C".  because of the time off, I've forgottten a LOT of the controlling knowledge I had of 'her."  NOW I desperatly  NEED YOUR HELP.     1 more thing:  I can NOT seem to eliminate the "flange effect" on my double vocals. It used to sound like ME. Now, I have been frustrated for over 4 weeks which finally got me to post you here.

    I have better pics but I have to jpoin my wife for dinner. I look forward to hearing back from SOMEONE-not like last week when i got a case# and no followup. Thanks for your time.

      WilliamR There are reports that the app is checking for an update and then crashing; this is most likely due to the server migration that has happened this past week.


      We are in the process of fixing this at the moment. Here are the workarounds to get the app running while this issue is being addressed.

      The two workarounds for this are to

      1.) Disable your internet and start the app, then you can re-enable your internet
      or
      2.) block the Program in windows firewall, and then you can start the app.
      To do that search 'windows firewall with advanced security' in the windows taskbar
      then go to outbound rules and on the right-hand side under actions click new rule
      select Program then next
      then browse for the goxlr.exe (it is in program files(x86)/TC-Helicon)
      give it a name and finish
      then make sure the rule is enabled
      you also need to make sure your windows firewall is enabled

      This will cause the app to produce the 404 error, and you can click ok and use the app as usual.

      If you are on a lower app version, then listed two messages above, use the links in that message to update. (edited)


      For step 2 above
      Blocking the internet connection for the GoXLR application

      1. Press Start
      2. Search: Windows Firewall
      3. On the left side select Advanced settings
      4. In the resulting window select Outbound rules on the left
      5. On the right side, select New Rule...
      6. In the resulting window, make sure Program is selected and click Next
      7. Make sure This program path: is selected and click Browse
      8. Navigate to the GoXLR App.exe and double click on it to select that file (Hint by default it's located in C:\Program Files (x86)\TC-Helicon\GOXLR )
      9. Click Next
      10. Make sure Block the connection is selected then click Next
      11. Make sure all boxes are checked for this screen then click Next
      12. For the name call, it GoXLR Workaround then click Finish(edited)

      WilliamR Sorry for the disruption. Our recent server migration revealed a critical bug that caused the app to crash. We were able to work with the PH team who managed to upload the missing files and redirect the URL path.       pddegrande Hello, please can someone help? (1) When I'm in guitar mode and change the preset I'm using I find that it changes the preset I'm using in vocal mode too. How can I use them independently? (2) is it the case that some of the vocal presets can't be used chromatically as i've noticed that, for example, when i use "10 SING-A-SYNTH" i can't sing from certain notes to others, it just won't pitch them and lingers a semitone below or above the desired note.. (3) Is it the case that you can't add, for example: "delay or reverb" (even though the light comes on) to some of the presets? Thank you very much. D

    I have a VOICELIVE 3 with a malfunctioning display, however the unit still works. I live in Hawaii and there is no local service center available. I had a local technician try and repair the unit using the instructions provided to me by the support team.     I am trying to set up my MIDI Baby 3 to turn on and off harmonies on my Voicelive Touch 2 with a CC message and not having success. I have emailed Disaster Area and await a response. All the commands seem to be sent out right. I duplicated what gets sent from the onboard harmony switch on the VLT2 and a Switch 3. I am hoping there is someone who has been successful doing this. There is a twist that may be a hint. If I connect a 5 pin MIDI cable and turn on MIDI rather than USB on the VLT2 it works. The messages sent are a little different though. There is a Merge setting on the VLT2 that allows Midi on both USB and 5 pin but when that is on the VLT2 does not get the PC message when I swipe to the next song. For that to work it must be set to USB. I have posted to Facebook group, nothing so far. MIDI Baby 3 is sending up and down page CC commands to my iPad running BandHelper. Looking for suggestions.

      From Page 69 of the manual:
      MIDI CTRL parameter

      The MIDI CTRL (Control) parameter defines which ports (USB and/or the physical MIDI input) are used byVoiceSupport soft- ware and for MIDI keyboard input and control.

      Merge setting (default)

      When you set the MIDI Control parameter to Merge, a computer running VoiceSupport software can be connected to the USB port to control and update the device. MIDI notes, control messages and MIDI Clock are received via the physical MIDI Input jack on the device.

      MIDI setting

      When you set the MIDI Control parameter to MIDI, the USB port is ignored. MIDI notes and control messages are received via the physical MIDI Input jack on the device.You can also use MIDI System Exclusive messages on the MIDI Input jack to import presets using librarian software on a computer.

      USB setting

      On this setting, the physical MIDI In is ignored.The USB port on the VoiceLive Touch 2 is used for both VoiceSupport and MIDI notes and control messages.

      Here is my problem. If I choose MIDI in my settings I can turn off and on the CC changes for harmonies with my MIDI pedal, however I loose the ability to make Program changes so swiping to the next song to load the appropriate harmonies is lost. If I choose USB the opposite occurs no Harmonies off and on CC, Program changes work.

      This statement from the manual means this should work hence I believe the device is not working as sold., .The USB port on the VoiceLive Touch 2 is used for both VoiceSupport and MIDI notes and control messages.

      In response to your statement, "I believe it is usb in or midi in but not both."I know that it can do this from software because I was previously using click/backing tracks with MIDI through BandHelper on my iPad and the MIDI messages from the USB port to the VLT2 worked. Both CC and PC messages worked.

      So it seems to me that this should work though the USB from the MIDI Baby 3 which is sending the correct info as can be seen by the fact that it gets through MIDI.

      I see this as a broken function on a current product that needs to be repaired.

      I have owned several TC Helicon Harmony pedals and I want to keep using them but this means I need to look elsewhere to get something that should be working according to our manual.
