PedroRodrigues Hi Pvgmusic, thank you for your post, please to account that you cannot send settings from the pedal to the editor, only the other way around. this is due to some TonePrint artists don't want to share their TonePrint settings, which we honour.

The easiest way to change presets around is via the editor. If you have designed your custom TonePrint always store them as user TonePrint in the App, so you can load them at any time and have 2 options:

-Store them to a specific TonePrint slot, once the TonePrint is stored in a slot, you can store it to any preset location by selecting the preset location, then select the TonePrint slot using the delay type selector and then the toggle switch to store TonePrint to a preset location

      - Store TonePrint directly from editor to a preset location -> while you are connected to the TonePrint App you can also store the current TonePrint setting you have in the editor directly to the selected preset location of your FB 2 X4, so you don't have to store custom TPs to the TonePrint slots first to have them as preset in the device!
Please follow the link below to access a video guide on how to save TonePrint’s:

      Thank you

I think my just died after using it since 2008

It was my trusty companion, such a good interface. They don't make em like that anymore...

I tried to use a novation soundcard i had lying around Novation hub or something much newer but used it for djing...

It could not handle my projects... When opening Ableton Live.

I left my konnekt a few days still nothing.

I lights up now but it's as if the firmware doesn't boot up...

The vid was is how it used to go previously and then it would sometimes take like 10min...

but now it doesn't do anything...

So Does this use a cmos battery that might be needed to be replaced??? If any1 knows?

Anothet question is Does any1 recommend a similar soundcard... not sure if Usb soundcards do work for my setup...

I actually don't have the money to buy a new one and certainly ain't gonna buy the Apollo or in that price range...

I was curious about the Arturia one but I don't know...

I just myself could not find a soundcard with this many outputs and all the other features on the back.

Hope someone can help me out thnx

PedroRodrigues Hi yann_ ,thank you for your post, unfortunately the TC-KONNEKT 48 has been discontinued for some time, so we stopped releasing any resources for the most recent OS's. If you wish to keep using your TC-KONNEKT 48 you must do it exclusively using legacy OS's otherwise the interface will not operate. Than you

    Hello,

On the Plethora X5, I would like to kick off the echo while having it finish the last decaying echoes versus just a hard stop of sound.  Is this possible via the Toneprint app?  I have tried to find where I would allow echos to ring after turning off effect but can't find anything. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

PedroRodrigues Hi gman5920 please consider that you just need to set your Plethora to "buffered bypass" to get Delay/reverb spill-over . Set it under : GLOBAL SETTINGS/PRODUKT SETTINGS/BYPASS TYPE) I hope this helps.

    Hello,
I recently got a TC Electronic Plethora X5 and I'm loving it. I played with it for some time and now decided to tweak some of the settings on my computer... and I couldn't be more dissapointed.

First: the user manual for the Toneprint app doesn't even mention the plethora, the plethora itself comes with quick start guide and no detailed manual. Why?

Second: the toneprint app seems to be completely unprepared for interacting with plethora, I have the boards tab, that I can use for renaming and reordering the boards, which I will use for reordering the boards if I want it or not, because if you are past the first 10 or 15 boards every single click will reorder the board you clicked to a random spot in the first 10. It cannot do anything else, or I'm completely missing something. Can I delete, duplicate, create new board in the toneprint app? Most importantly: can I edit the board I have created? Can I at least edit the effect in realtime and tweak the settings to see what works? The toneprint app seems to completely not utilise the fact that the communication with the Plethora is two way. It works on the single fx pedals, so I really expected it here.

I'm frustrated and extremely dissapointed :(

Running plethora at build 1.2.18, Toneprint app at 4.4.03, and mac on catalina 10.15.7

StaceyBaum I feel your pain Maciej. I also struggled with the reording of the boards on my Mac. When I used the app on my iPad I found it was less touchy. This forum is a great spot to voice your concerns, suggestions and questions. They do listen and want to help.

WilliamR Hello Maciej, I highly recommend watching the plethora tutorial videos by Pedal Platform. They are very helpful.

      • Am I missing something, or the Toneprint app is the worst (with the Plethora X5)
Azarazu Thanks, I will check it out

Azarazu Now I understand. I'm still unhappy with board management in the app and limited communication from the plethora to the app, but at least I understood the basics of how to really program that thing.

TC - you should hire Philippe from Pedal Platform to do some official tutorials for you.

Help! I've owned the TC Flashback II for a few months now and am loving it. Earlier this year I updated the firmware to use the tap tempo function and that was working fine. I came back to my pedal after a month off or so, and now for some reason, when engaged, I can only hear the delay output, and not the attack of the note itself. What I've done so far to troubleshoot:

    - Pulled the pedal off the pedal board and isolated it as the only pedal in the signal chain between the guitar and the amp

    - Tried multiple different amps

    - Tried multiple different guitars

    - Verified that input is going into the pedal through MONO and exiting through MONO

    - Verified that true bypass and kill/dry dipswitches are set correctly (set to true bypass and off respectively, both oriented left)

What are suggestions for next steps? Thank you!

    Dave

TC-Mike Please check that the Kill dry switch is not set to "ON" . the dip switches can be reached by removing the back cover and more info on the positions /settings can be found in the manual. the second dip switch switches between "true-and buffered bypass" -Buffered bypass will retain the Delay repeats when pedal is bypassed
