Dale_M Hi there this looks like your BIOS batteries on your MC1 and MC2 may be dead as the console is powering on but you have no screens. Can you please send a Technical ticket in from the above Support tab so we can assist you?

    Hi,

On my HD06 (4 weeks old), fader 11 don't get the right position on recall. I can't find any calibration function, or any reference on the manual. Am I missing something ?

(Already reboot, test with a new session, etc...)

    Thanks for your help !

    Michel.

Nigel67 Hi MB091. I will send you an e-mail shortly as this is not a fader calibration issue but looks as though one of your faders has developed a fault. If you have not received an e-mail in the next few hours, please also check your Spam and Junk inbox. Many thanks.

Behringer x32 refused to accept input or produce any output, I had been using the X32 without any problem until Sunday evening, after service I shut it down a few hours later when another service wanted to start I put the X32 on, It booted normally but when talking to the mic no indication on the mixer or when played from recorded audio (wave) from USB, It is showing that sound is playing (rolling cassette) but no sound is coming out, and there is no indication from the mixer that sound is coming out (the volume level is not moving up or down). While talking with someone, I was told to upgrade the firmware, but after doing so, nothing changed.

What might be the problem and how do I resolve this? Thanks

Paul_Vannatto It could be due to a number of things. First thing I always check when encountering such a scenario is the DCA assignments and faders. I had that happen 2 weeks ago, where the Main LR and Main M/C had DCA assigned with its fader all the way down. Next I check the signal path and routing. Also if you are using stageboxes, check that the sync is working correctly and that the stageboxes are configured correctly.

I would suggest that you export your scene to a file, then upload to the cloud (dropbox, etc.) and provide a shareable link. That way we can have a look and better advise.

Nigel67 Hi blessingnice2009. In addition to what Paul has mentioned above, I would save all your scenes, shows, presets, etc to a USB stick. Then perform a factory reset. Once done, without loading in any show files, input audio into input channel 1 and push its fader up. Plug a speaker into the Main L or R output on the rear of the console and then push the main mix fader up and see if you get audio out to the speaker. If I remember correctly, on a factory reset the channels are unmuted, but just check that the input channel and mix channel are unmuted. If you are not getting any sound out, are you getting meters showing for the main mix outputs?

Paul_Vannatto Not sure what is going on with this "new fangled" forum interface. But the only way to see your responses is to go to the notification link. That is where I got your scene file and had a look.

The routing is all correct. But your gains are very low (vocals ch 4-6 are set to 3.0, 3.0 and 0.0 respectively). Typical dynamic mics (eg. SM58) usually require gain setting of around 25 db. Even the Apex 515 (which I frequently use) condenser mics are around 15 db.

StaffordAV Assuming that you have exhausted the possibility of user error, given that the digital part of the mixer is working, it could be that you have lost power to the analogue sections of the mixer. I've had this happen on the X32 Rack, which exhibited the same symptoms. If you take it to a repair tech, get them to check the +/- 15V rails. I'm not familiar with the X32 (not had to repair one yet), so can't advise any further. I've not tried it, but I would suspect that the mixer would work using a digital stage box rather than the built in analogue ins and outs, something to try if you have access to one.

My X32 console is cutting out during playback and/or recording. The source continues to play but the sound disappears for a couple seconds. Occasionally it is playing fine and then begins to distort and fade out and pops back in playing normally. Any ideas?

Paul_Vannatto I would suspect a cabling issue. If what you are playing is through a stagebox, then I would suggest you replace the AES50 cable (make sure it is shielded cat5e/cat6/cat7 with ethercon ends). If what you are playing is via USB (from a computer), then I would suggest you replace the USB cable.

Hi All - I have a 2014 Behringer Europower PMP1620s that is experiencing lights pulsing steadily and only audio is a pop synced with the lights flashing. My guess is a single capacitor may have gone on an extended vacation. I'm comfortable replacing anything attached to the PCB.

I attached a video of the symptoms. Any input from personal experiences would be appreciated.

So I have an issue. I have a Midas Pro2 and have bought several DP48 personal monitor mixers, and hadn't noticed they operate on different AES50 signals. (96 and 48 kHz)

I have read different answers around, and wonder what is the correct answer.

Can ONE Klark Teknik DN9650 convert a AES50 96 kHz to a 48 kHz, so I can use that as a bridge between the Pro2 and DP48s?

    Can it take 2 x AES50 96 kHz from my Midas pro2 (2 x 24 channels) and convert them to 1 x AES50 48 kHz (48 channels)?

I have read somewhere that I can do that, but others say I need to have 2 x KT 9650:

    - One to convert from 2 x AES50 96 kHz to Dante
    - One to convert from Dante to AES50 48 kHz.

I am really not sure about this, and haven't figured out this myself yet. Hope to get help.

Which cards do I need in the DA9650 to get this to work?

What would you suggest that I do?

Nigel67 Hi Preben. You will require a DN9650 fitted with a KT-AES50 card. Connect up two AES50 ports from the PRO2 (giving 48 channels of audio at 96K) and then you down sample to 48K in the DN9650 and output 48 channels at 48K via Port 1 on the KT-AES50 card. There is no need for a second DN9650. I am unsure why Dante is mentioned by other users unless they are recording via Dante or connecting to a Dante network. For connection to DP48's you do not require it. From the KT-AES50, are you feeding a HUB4, or are you daisy chaining the DP48s together and powering them from the supplied psu's?

      • Can I connect Midas Pro2 (AES50 96 kHz) to Midas DP48 (48 Khz) with ONE Klark Teknik DN9650?
Preben Thanks for the reply Nigel67. Awesome, this helps me tremendously. I haven't decided yet to buy the Hub4 or to daisy chain the DP48s. I have 5 of them as of now. I see that it would probably be best to get the Hub4, but as of right now it's a budget issue.

Does the Hub4, do more except the POE and much easier to cable a stage?

The flow8 is disconnected from the power supply, it is only connected via usb to the mac which is in sleep mode, do I have to worry about this rhythmic flashing?

Brand new M32C and SD16. Neither work. M32 will not connect to the network. SD16 will not allow me to switch to the outputs. See video. I waited a month for the M32 now they are saying longer...

KevinMaxwell It's possible that you do have a bad one but it is also possible that it is a problem with the network setup. Where are you located? I looked at some other post on here by you and from something you said in one of them made me think that you might be on CT. I am in SW CT.

      • Midas, what happened to your quality control?
GaryHiggins I agree KM, sounds like network issues more than not.

KevinMaxwell I was going to say that your video didn’t work for me but in reality I am not going to download a file from an unknown source assuming it is just a legitimate video. I would watch it (if it isn’t long) on YouTube.

My original reply disappeared when it tried to post it.

I have seen a lot of times where some little mistake in a network setting makes a system not work and I have made those mistakes myself. Does you video show all of the network settings everywhere that it might impact this? And I have discovered some things to look out for along the way.

JoeWelfeld Reply, I get not watching the video but in a nutshell, x32 rack sitting on top of the Midas. X32 connects just fine. Move the cables to the Midas and bubkis… couldn’t be more clear now.

JoeWelfeld In a nutshell. X32 rack, which I have been running for about 10 years is sitting on top of the Midas. It connects just fine. I move the cables to the Midas and bubkis. I didn’t want to believe it either so I spend many an hour trying to figure out what I did wrong until I did the above which proved there is an issue.

      • Midas, what happened to your quality control?
KevinMaxwell No where did you say that you went into the M32core and set the IP address to the exact same settings that the M32 is set to. you can just take it out of the box and expect it to work without setting it up properly. They may be from the same family of products bit they may also be different enough that they may not just be able to be swapped without setting the M32Core up in the same exact way as the M32. And if you are using DHCP I wouldn't be at all surprised if they behave differently.

      • Midas, what happened to your quality control?
GaryHiggins The M32C is like an X32 Core correct? That is no preamps, single rack space? Reason I ask is it is not exactly easy getting to the network setup pages, making any changes and having them "stick" with the C or Core. I am wondering if you to set it to static and used the same ip as your Rack? Or the reverse, (it's now static and you want DHCP). Which way is the M32C set? DHCP or using a static ip? If it is set to a static ip, it has to be in the same ip range (same range not exact ip) and subnet as the (new?) router or it will never connect.

Paul_Vannatto Wow! Your X32 Rack has "been running for about 10 years"??? That is amazing!!! It was announce in January 2014 at NAAM and the first shipments came in September (Europe) and October (North America) of that same year (8 years ago).

JoeWelfeld Wow thanks for the in-site. I forgot to mention that I ran an x32 for a couple of years before that. Sorry for the confusion, You're a gentlemen and a scholar. I bow down before you.
