Hello, I´m having problems to route the two devices. I´ve got 7 Channels from the  X32 I want to send to the Outputs 1 and 2 on the DL 16, these are my main busses L/R. Everything works so far, but I can´t mute or solo the different channels....

I´m using x32 Edit to control the Mixer so I uploaded the scene I was building...

Nigel67 Hi Joso. Looking at your scene, you are sending Local Inputs 1-8 to the DL16 and the audio will be tapped straight of the mic amps so pre fader, mute and solo. I see that in your Out 1-16 you have assigned Main L and R to Output 1 and 2 and this is what you are requiring to be output from the DL16. Therefore, you need to assign Out 1-8 to AES50 A Output 1-8. This will then put Main L and R on the DL16 Output XLRs 1 and 2. You haven't mentioned what other channels you are trying to send to the DL16. I have a feeling that with you patching the local inputs to the DL16 originally, that the routing may become a little more in depth and may require User In / Out routing. Let me know and I can look into the scene set up for you.

Hey There...So my DL32 wnet dead on me last weekend, at an event.

Getting back to my shop..I tried a few different power cables and such...but it wouldn't power up.

I'm suspecting a Power Supply issue...

I contacted Music Group ( like I have in the past ) and was given choices of "Repair" facilities to choose from.

I'll say right now...that I've always sent my gear back to Music Group in Nevada for any repairs in the past..( I'm sure there is  Historical info on R R Sound / Rusty Scutt, on file )

So this time after looking at the Repair Shop options...I sent it to Audio Lab of Georgia...talked with a very nice lady "Wendy".

I informed Wendy that I had went all the paper work associated with my DL32, (ex: Place of Purchase, Date of Purchase..etc.. )

Than I said " This should be under warranty"...

And that's when she informed me that I need a RMA #....from Music Group for them to have, for repair under warranty.

So.... I need a RMA # for my piece of gear needing fixed, please.

I am somewhat confused ...on why MIDAS / Music's all these different repair facilities now, via the Web Site....and non of them are have Warranty Info for eveyone's gear that has been purchased.

Anyway..I'm attaching the same paper work I  sent to Audio Lab of Georgia, for your records.

I did just receive my new DL32 from my guy's at Sweetwater I'm pretty happy about that...But want to fix my other ...ASAP !

Any questions or concerns, Please contact Rusty Scutt 317-840-9074

    Thank You !

KyleJohnson Hi Rusty, Kyle here with Music Tribe. I was able to locate your ticket and it looks like it is still awaiting processing from our service team. Please wait until you hear from our Service team before sending your product anywhere. If the unit is deemed in warranty then we will issue you an RMA assigned to a service center for repair.

I recently purchased and have been trying to set up an XR18. I haven't had any issues with connection, but when I'm connected and have an instrument or microphone plugged in to any of the inputs, I don't get any signal registering at all. Regardless of gain setting, there is no action on the meter.

I've tried the standard resets and troubleshooting, but none of those has been a solution.

I've attached a current scene file if that helps.

Nigel67 Hi mjbworship. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Are you using the XLR input when plugging in a microphone, and is the microphone you are using a dynamic or condenser, i.e does it require phantom power? The XLR input is for microphones and the jack input (hole in the middle of the XLR) is for line input. I can see from your scene you sent, that for Input 1, the Mic Gain has been turned all the way down. Try turning this up when the microphone is plugged in. You should then be able to see signal on the meter next to the fader in the edit software. For the microphone input, are you using a balanced XLR - XLR cable? I would start by just plugging in a media MP3 player of some kind. That will be a line level input and you will not have to worry about phantom power or not. Try a number of inputs to confirm which inputs are working and which are not. If you are still not having any success, I would advise raising a Technical Support ticket with us and we can advise further. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. If the unit is brand new, then I would also contact the seller that the unit was purchased from and advise them of the situation. They may also be able to help you further with the issue, but also, if the unit is still within 30 days, and is faulty, you will be able to request a DOA replacement so better to advise them sooner rather than later.

Nigel67 Nice. Great set of clear and precise instructions. May come in very useful in the future. Thankyou. Not so sure about the footwear, I am more of a Star Wars sock type of person. :) All the best

I am helping my church to connect 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers by the attached diagram.

on the M32 menu. I am not sure how to assign outputs = Bus so I can control volume for subwoofers.

    Would you please help?

    Thank you so much,

      DavidKnighton Hello churchsound,
My best advice is to leave the LEFT MAIN and RIGHT MAIN speakers setup per the diagram. The SUB send I would highly recommend using a single mix bus or single matrix. Sub level is going to need to be even coming from both sides, so there's no need for independent level control. You're just burning an extra output that way. If using mix bus, use a POST FADER mix bus, such as bus 9.

Somehow I deleted the mix bus fader 5 from my X32 edit for PC.  Is there a way to restore the fader in the screen.  It is present everywhere else and I can assign channels to it, etc.  But it just isn't appearing on the fader screen. If you can open the attached doc, it has a snapshot of where Bus 5 fader is missing, but you can see it's still available on the right side listing.  If I delete the program and re-install, it still shows up as missing.  When I import a scene from my X32 it still is missing the fader.

      DavidKnighton Hello Ray,
See screenshot below. While on the Bus/MTX layer, click the EDIT button above the layer select and a window will pop open. You most likely have Bus 5 deselected for that layer. Click on it to turn it blue and it should pop the bus back into that layer view.

    Hello all,

At our rehearsal studio we have a x32 with S16 all works perfectly except for the recording on the SDCard.  It will playback old files just fine but won't record new tracks.  We did have to make a change a while back to allow the S16 to work properly and I think that routing change disabled the recording capability.  I have attached a scene, any help would be much appreciated.

RexBeckett Hi Danny, yes Routing -> Card configuration in your scene is not correct - it is set to record from the Card inputs rather than the normal analogue console and S16 ones. The most likely setup for your scene is to set the Card output routing the same as the Input routing. See X32-Edit screenshot below.

In your scene, Routing -> Inputs has got some Aux In Remap set for for AES50-A 1/2 (Record) and Card 1-4 (Play). As the Aux channels do not appear to be used for anything, I have ignored this in the Card routing.

I few of my channels to the P16 from the X32 come from busses instead of the channel direct out. The bus channels will not allow the signal to flow to the P16 when I mute the channel being sent to the bus on the FOH x32. All of my direct out channels continue to send the signal to the P16 whether the X32 channel is muted or not. I want my busses to do the same thing.

What do I need to do differently? Channel sends to bus are post eq. All P16 tap points are also post eq. Scene is attached.

RexBeckett Hi ambard9, that is the way that channel-to-bus sends work on the X32. If you mute the channel, it also mutes the bus send. If you mute via DCAs, and the DCA Groups mute option is off, it does not mute the bus sends.

ambard9 Thanks for the clarification. I was hoping a different tap point for channel to bus send would fix the problem. I will relay to the rest of my group. Thank you.
