I just ordered a Behringer Xenyx 2442FX and realized this doesnt have a tap tempo for the delay effects while the Behringer X2442USB Xenyx does have this button. I didnt know there was a difference with the boards. What else is missing on the 2442FX that the X2442USB does have? Im noticing big price differences for seemingly almost identical boards.

      DavidKnighton Hello jrrguitar,
Not only is the FX processor different between the boards, but the USB board has compressors on channels 1-8. You'd be getting a bit more bang with the USB board than the FX board.

Good afternoon, wondering if anyone can assist with this. When using an X32 mixer, is there any way to remotely control the talkback mics other than by the physical buttons on the console? I need to try and set up a way of a conductor being able to talk to 2 different sets of talent when needed but they are nowhere near the console. Ideally if this can be acheived via MIDI I can build a custom footswitch. I guess they must be since you can access it via the ipad app, but with A and B being on 2 differerent tabs this is not a useable setup. With it being for a conductor I'd ideally like to be able to do it with foot control rather than hand but I'm open to any suggestions! The features on the X32 are pretty much perfect for this with the A/B routing, I just need the final bit of the puzzle!

Paul_Vannatto Hi Rob, about a year ago, I helped someone develop a remote talkback unit using an arduino, ethernet sheild, button switches and LED's. If you want, I can get him to explain his finished project.

Hello, I recently bought the UMC202HD, after watching countless of reviews. I thought it'd be a good option. I'm not a professional, so I was not looking for something extremely expensive, just something that will work.

When the audio interface arrived, I tested it, and the sound quality is very GREAT. There's no hiss noise, whatsoever. However, it does have VERY low input volume. Whenever I record my voice, it sounds very low, and not only that but the interface also says it's clipping despite of the fact how low it records. I have the gain all the way up, and there's no hissing sound or anything, but even with the gain all the way up, it still doesn't sound loud enough. I was using the SAMSON Q2U, via USB connection and thought that maybe an audio interface would allow me to make that microphone louder, and to reduce the hiss noise, but it actually sounds louder on the USB connection than on the interface. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the XLR cable that came with the SAMSON Q2U. I've already installed the drivers, but the input still sounds low. The audiointerface works, it gets recognized by my computer, and it doesn't have any static, hiss noise. However, it dos have VERY low input volume, which makes me sad because the volume is not enough. What am I doing wrong? Please, help. Thanks.

john0121 Hi Gonazles, first and easiest things to check:

      - You don't have the PAD button engaged
      - You are providing the mic phantom power if required

If you're still having problems then please fill out the Tech Support form via the support button and one of our specialists will be able to assist you further.

    Hello,

Sorry but a newbie question : I use Reason 11, and plan to buy the MS-1 (101).

MIDI is (really) not my thing with DAWS, so ... can anyone tell me either ... where to find infos or how to sync (arp/seq) the MS-1 specifically, with Reason ?

    Thanks for any information.

    (Ticketing system is broken)
I have extremely low output on my Truth B2092A and need a circuit diagram to replace the primary capacitors, resistors and transistors on the board. The transistors part numbers are either worn illegibly or missing, and some of the ceramic resistors P/Ns I can no longer get the whitepapers for. I've had this sub since new (2007) and last year built my entire recording studio desk around this sub and its dimensions - I'd rather not just scrap it. Either that or if I can get a replacement board, but finding one is getting increasingly difficult.

      DavidKnighton Hello utmorpheus,
Regrettably it is not permitted to share service documentation with the general public. Only a Music Tribe service center can access these documents. I would suggest getting in touch with our Spare Parts department to see if a replacement module is available. Click the support tab at the top of the page and proceed to a spare parts ticket.

I purhcased the UM2 as a pre-amp for our paging system at work. The pager input comes into the 1/4" input, and the amp takes the stereo RCA connection.

The things I liked about this little unit is that it's very reasonably priced, it had the I/O connections I needed, and I could adjust both the gain and the output.

What I didn't realize is the power requirement is 100% USB. There's no A/C adapter. I tried a charging block, but the unti won't power on.

Does the UM2 actually need a data packet to power on, or can I wire in a resistor between the D+ and +5 lines? If it's only Data-USB, then I'm going to return it.

the control panel is where i set 256samples latency or 2048... where i set 44Khz or 88khz...

assure me lol, post screenshots & explain. Thanx :)

Nigel67 Hi Chris135, X32 Edit can be downloaded from this link
      https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0AAP
It can be found in the Software tab. It looks similar to your Saphire Control Panel. The link you have given is for the X-UF expansion card driver control panel which is very old and no longer supported.
