I own a Bugera T5 Infinium amp and I use my amp several times a week. Yesterday I powered up and after about 30 seconds the jewel light began flashing and the the tube monitor light on the back lit. I have two power and two preamp tubes so I swapped out preamp tube 1 with preamp tube 2, no change. I then swapped out power tube 1 with power tube 2, no change. I then swapped out preamp tube 2 with preamp tube 1, still no change. This seems to confirm the issue is not the tubes. If I set the output to 5 watt, turn volume and gain to 10 and engage the phat button I can hear the amp is sending a signal to the speaker cabinet, and it sounds fairly normal, just at a vey much reduced output level. This is true for both speaker cabinet and headphones out. Any advise, tricks, reset options, ... is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I just got this amp used.. The channel select switch on the front of the amp needs a replacement part,(the channel select switch). I also need the 4 screw bolts that bolt the amp head to the top of the cabinet..

Hi, I´m from Brazil and I´m Electronic Engineer. I have a costumer with a Bugera 333XL Infinium which does not fit the BIAS to valve 2. I just change the tubes to new ones, two new quad sets (JJ and electroharmonix) but the led 2 of digital module turns on and the standby bulb light blinks. I have checked the grid voltages and to V1,V3 and V4 the voltage is -48V. To V2 the voltage is -25V but not stable, it changes between -25V and -24V. I have checked all cables, I removed the digital module and checked connections. I have changed the sockets of tubes but the problem persists. I have no ideia what do know, I suspect that infinium module is bad working. thank you for help.

    The ticket is: CAS-129532-V7J5J8

Dale Minaker Hi lucastor4, sorry to hear of this issue, I will ask the USA team to look out for your ticket, it looks very much like a repair will be required.

The portal won't let me send the request. It keeps saying to fill in the required fields and they are all filled in. I'd just like to call or email somoene at Bugera. Why can't I do that?

Any idea why the lights don't work on the pedal? I bought the head off Sweetwater as a return and it had no pedal. I ordered the proper Bugera pedal. It switches the channels and turns the reverb on and off just fine, but the lights don't work on the pedal. I bought this head a couple years ago and Just started playing it, so I doubt anyone will do anything at Sweetwater or Bugera. But if it's a fuse or something, I can fix that.

    Any help is appreciated.

Dale Minaker At this stage it is difficult to advise if it is the amp or the pedal, your best bet would be to see if anyone else you know has either models and you could try either the head or the pedal to at least conclude which is at fault.

Still waiting to hear from a request for the availability of a 120 v transformer for a used T-50 that I purchased.  How long is typical to wait for a response after submitting a request?  Anyone have a suggestion for me?

Hello I recently purchased a Bugera V5 amp which sounds great but I didn't realize until later that you also offer the T5 which is just the head and not the combo like the V5.  My question is are the V5 and the T5 tonally the same amp?  Is the T5 essentially voiced the same as the V5 with more eq options just minus the speaker?  Are they voiced differently?

Also the speaker output says 4ohm minimum so I am assuming that 2 12" speakers wired in parallel will be fine for either the V5 or T5?

    thank you

William Reichling Hello, The v5 and the T5 are similar but they are not voiced exactly the same. The V5 preamp design is more of a '60s vibe design, the T5 is more British voiced. Two 8 ohm speaker wired in parallel would work fine for the T5.

I just received a secondhand V22 Infinium. It sounds great, but the FedEx guys taped bubblewrap directly to the amp and it left some adhesive residue.  Is it safe to use Goo Gone on the Tolex? Is there a better option?

Nigel Turner Whatever you use, I would suggest that you try the cleaner on an area that is hidden or least visible. No matter what you use, it could react with the material. I found a video of a guy who cleans up his tolex but the substance he uses may not be strong enough to remove the tape. https://www.google.com/search?q=tolex&rlz=1C1GCEA_enGB815GB815&oq=tolex&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l7.1662j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_J18qX_3bL-qp1fAP4OyamAQ3
Isopropyl alcohol may also be worth looking at to clean the Tolex but again try a spot out of sight first of all.

Patrick Corrigan I would try a citrus-based cleaner like Goo Gone. It works well for removing tape adhesive, but the citrus smell will linger for a while.

    Hello,

I have a Bugera G5 (that I love) and I also have a Boss MS-3. I followed the instruction in how to make the MS-3 switch channels on an amp. The MS-3 switches another amp I have, but on the G5... uh that's a different story. It seems it switches the channels at times, and sometimes it doesn't. I bought the amp used, so I don't have the manual. I tried pushing the channel button and that doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help me out with this, please?

William Reichling Hello Joe, If you are using the Boss MS3, be sure you are using a TRS cable on the CTL out.

Joe Rojas Yes, I am using a TRS cable. That's how the amp switching works on my other amp. And I did plug the TRS cable into the CTRL 1/2 Out. And from the CTRL 1/2 Out to the Footswitch in of the amp.

      • Channel Switching the Bugera G5 with the Boss MS-3
William Reichling Hello Joe, It appears the Boss MS3 may not support dual button footswitch function. So using a mono 1/4 inch cable should give you the ability to switch from clean to overdrive but not turn the reverb on and off.
