Hi,
I am new here. I would like to ask some technical question about new Lab Gruppen PDX3000 amp. It seems to be a perfect solution for my JBL4645Cs. First of all I would like to know what is the DAMPING FACTOR (aprox. up to 300Hz)?. For the input on XLRs I would like to connect it directly from the integrated amplifier from speaker terminal (high level to low level); I made some measurements and normally high level does not exceed 0,5V - how much volts can take XLR input on PDX3000?
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards,
Gasper Jancigaj
is there any other way to get spare parts of the PLM series
bequase every time we if send it to repair and they have this Absurd high repair costs
we can also do it ourselfs its not that hard its more hard to find the problem
but with 7 plm's in total we rather want to do it ourselfs
Hi Sowatt,
You can contact our CARE team and ask but I would warn you that performing these repairs yourself will void your warranty. Also, our service centers have specialised repair and testing equipment which is quite essential to perform a quality and most importantly, safe, repair.
Not trying to downplay your skills as a repair engineer, just a bit of insight into what goes into the process of service.
Honestly I would very strongly reccomend you send your amps for repair in a certified service center, if you are getting repeat failures then its worth doing some analysis as to the cause also. It may be that you can avoid having to send it in to start with.
I am more than happy to advise and assist further...
Warenty lab 2000? I want send my lab 2000 in for repair. How and wher do I send it?
Hello Rickard, welcome to the community.
I suggest that you raise a Care ticket (Service Request) explaining your problem. This is done by clicking on Support at the top of the page and then clicking the Create a Care Ticket button. This is only possible if you have completed the required fields in your profile. The Care ticket is currently the only way to request technical support, service and spare parts from any of the Music Tribe companies.
Hallo,
Now I'm install MacOsX Catalina - impossible to used with IntelliDrive for my 6x IPD2400, is big problem for me. Please inform us when will ready for Catalina - your last update was in 2017, is time for next upgrade.

Dear Team,
We are Hoang Bao Khoa Co. - a customer of Music Tribe in Vietnam.
Recently, we have got some cases in which the end user's Lab Gruppen Amplifiers broke. However, these products bought from the company - one of Music Tribe dealers in Vietnam currently does not run business anymore and the warranty period is still valid. Thus they come to us for consultancy and service.
Could you please advise us the warranty process for these cases?
Thanks
Diem - Hoang Bao Khoa Company
Hello Diem, welcome to the community.
I expect that the warranty procedure would be the same as for any other owner of a Music Tribe product. The product owner can open a Care ticket for an in-warranty Service Request. This is done by clicking on the Support menu at the top of this page and then clicking the + Create a Care Ticket button. This is only possible when all required fields in the member profile have been completed.
When the Care ticket is raised, the requestor should get a confirmation email with a Care case number. The response may take some days. There have been cases where the responses have been lost in email spam folders.

Dear Rex,
Thanks for your response.
How about the case the product owner did not have / keep the Proof of Purchase to submit in the procedure.
Thanks
Diem
Hello Diem,
I am not a representative of Music Tribe so I have no special knowledge of their policies. I can only suggest that the product owner raises a Care ticket and includes an explanation of the situation.
Music Tribe representatives (Tribers) do sometimes monitor this community but the Care ticket system is the primary means to request support.
Hey, the LAB Control Software for Mac OS Catalina do Not work. When the new Version Come out?
I need it so soon as possible!
Well this is a busy forum isn't it? Does anyone know of a way to copy and paste DSP parameters such as EQ and limiters between channels on the IPD control app? I'm using the Mac and iPad versions and don't see this option. Is it available perhaps in the Windows version?
Is there a better forum for this sort of question? This one seems fairly low traffic.
Hi @RileyCasey,
My apologies for the late reply here.
There is not a direct copy and paste feature but if you are trying to achieve matched channels, a stereo pair of speakers for example, then you can link channels and everything programmed on channel one will be copied onto channel 2 (with shared control for both channels).
There are two link options found on the "Levels" tab, one for input stage and one for output stage. See attached picture.

My amplifier has been sent to you for repairs and returned as no fault found but the audio keeps dropping out. I have a video showing the malfunction. Another tech offered to fix it but my amp is under warranty and i think it unfair .
Hi @walford1 ,
Sorry to hear about your amplifier issues, could you link me to the video please?
It would also be helpfull to know a bit more information regarding the setup, is there anything else in the signal chain? Specifically which model amplifier is it?
Does anyone know when the preset for the L' acoustic KS21 will be released?
Hi @DittenLerooij ,
If regarding IPD series amplifiers...
Unfortunatly the IPD2400 is a little underpowered for the KS21, you would likely find the amp starts to drop power with sustained use driving KS21.
If regarding LAKE amplifiers...
I would like to get the KS21 preset into the loadlibrary, however the process requires measuring the manufacturers speaker to create a preset from scratch or measuring another amplifier output to create a clone. This is due to the data not being readily available online or from the manufacturer.
It is on my radar to get done when possible, unfortunatly I cannot give you an estimate of when this might be done for you.
Hi Alex,
I did a quick measurement and have a base ready for use on my 5K44, but still need to set limiter settings.
I only have Smaart to measure, no equipment to measure amp outputs unfortunable...
Does anyone have the l’acoustics x12 presets for the IPD2400 please?
Hi @Mattb1978 ,
I have this lined up for a future release, please find attached FOH and MON versions.
