    Hey guys,

I have a TC Electronic RH750 amp purchased some time ago. The plastic knobs broke one by one and I was sent a new set by TC some 3 years ago. Everything worked just fine until last week when one knob felt down due to some cracks. How can I purchase a new set or individual knob for my amp? Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Calin

WilliamR Hello, there are currently supply chain issues that are causing great delays in the availability of these parts. If you can click on the Support link above and create a parts case, someone can get in touch with you as soon as possible. If you have done so already, can you give me your case number so that I can look into the matter for you?

RickRossBell There should be a laugh emoji for this reply. Do you have any idea how many spare parts tickets I've submitted? How many calls and emails I've sent to the Service Partners? How many FB comments I've left? how many DMs I've exchanged with people who can help all the way until they tell me they can't because they're "tech support". Let me guess, you are also a 'tech support' guy and can't really help. TCE customer service is trash. We're simply asking for a dang knob or the truth. We're not getting either.

RickRossBell There you go. They tell me over and over to check with service partners and then when I do, and roll snake eyes, I'm told to "check with them in the UK". Is that reasonable? For a dang knob? TCE better get their act together. The internet doesn't allow for this level of customer service to go unnoticed or unrecognized.

Is there a chance in hell of getting a replacement knob?  I've done several parts tickets, no luck.  I've called every single service partner in the USA, no luck.  I've reached out to TCE on facebook, no luck.  I've messaged the tech guys on this forum, no luck.  Very dissapointed in TCE customer service.

Good day. I was told by TC Electronic to reach out to you regarding replacement knobs for bass amp RH-450. They said you should have stock available. Please let me know if you have any knobs available, and if not, when I should check back to see if they have become available.

Thank you for your time and efforts,

I have a Polytuner and have adjusted it to 435.  I want to tune to 432 for an experiment I am planning in a couple of days.  I need to know how to read the display to achieve this outcome.  Thank you.

PedroRodrigues Hi michaeldurig, thank you for your post, can you please state what Polytune are you referring to ?
Generally on the Polytune pedals to change the reference pitch, follow these steps:

      1. Press the DISPLAY MODE button and the TUNING MODE button (3) simultaneously.
      2. The display will show the current reference pitch (e.g., “440” for 440 Hz).
      3. To increase the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps, press the TUNING MODE button.
      4. To decrease reference pitch in 1 Hz steps, press the DISPLAY MODE button.
      5. To accept the currently displayed reference pitch and return to normal operation, do not press either button for two seconds.
For specific information I would suggest o check the manual for your Polytune. I hope this helps. Thank you

My new ditto plus looper was working as expected, but suddenly it stopped playing input. It records input, and will play back what it records, but I can't hear what I'm playing (except direct from the instrument) until it has been recorded and is being played back. I saw somewhere that this happens and can be fixed by a hard reset.

The fault seems to have coincided with the battery pack running out -- the problem appeared when I got it restarted after hooking up a different power supply.

PedroRodrigues Hi aeggers, thank you for your post, in this case I would first suggest the factory reset, for that you must
press and hold previous + next + Foot switch for 13 seconds. If this does not work please follow the guidance that WilliamR provided above. I hope this helps. Thank you

Just received my first ever DITOO LOOPER and I'm a ton excited.  Already looping and storing backing tracks.

    My question is;

    1) How many backing tracks can I store on the X2

     2) If more than one, how do I recall the one I want to use for a specific song?

      3) Can I delete an recorded overdub loop from a stored backing track in case of mistakes or if I choose to make and use another overdub over the original backing track?

    • imwilson2u
WilliamR The ditto x2 can store one backing track at a time via the store switch. You can delete or undo all overdubs down to the original stored backing track to start over. You will not lose or delete the backing track until you hold the store delete switch on the top left.

    Hi guys,

I ideally would like to turn on the buffer in the Sub N Up Mini as I'm getting a big pop sound when turning the pedal on/off using the Diago power supply that I'm using.

The manual suggests you can open up the pedal and flick a dup switch, but there doesn't seem to be any dip switches in sight when taking off the back plate as per the manuals directions. Are there any dip switches? or do I need to take the pedal apart (remove the top circuit board) to reach them?

    Thanks,

    Adam

      NicJonesMT Hi VaughanTemples.
The MINI toneprint pedals do not have the Buffer and Killdry dip switches. If you connect the pedal via USB to the Toneprint editor app, access one of the Sub n Up Templates, you should see a Product settings tab. You should be able to adjust the buffer settings in this menu.

If you are experiencing any issues then please click support at the top of the page and submit a technical support ticket.

Does anyone know if the Flashback 2 mini can be set to do trails?

    Thanks!

    • PJMJ
PedroRodrigues Hi PJMJ, please ponder that if you meant by Trails the fact that the effect continues to fade out after you turn it off, as opposed to just abruptly stopping, please consider that the Flashback 2 Mini is true bypass therefore it will not allow trails. Thank you

Does anyone have an issue with the cab sim on the plethora x5? When I don't have any sims on, a high-pitched hum occurs. It only goes away when I have one engaged.

    My signal chain is:

guitar -> plethora input (mono) -> plethora fx send -> boss st-2 -> ernie ball vp jr -> plethora fx return -> plethora output (mono) -> peavey vk112

      • Polytune Classic
PedroRodrigues Hi PhillT, thank you for your reply, please consider that the POLYTUNE CLASSIC is a legacy unit and the resources available to support this unit may be scarce.
The first point that we need to clarify is that this unit was launches a while ago and will not operate correctly when interfaced with more recent operating systems specially when it comes to update process that requires bridging with the POLYTUNE CLASSIC software.
To assure that the update process does not fail you must use a Windows XP or Windows 7 operating systems and follow the steps below.
This process will not work on any 64-bit operating system
The process below describes how to update the software of your TC Electronic POLYTUNE pedal using
        a computer running Windows 7.

        The installation has two parts:

Installing the USB driver so the PolyTune will be recognized by your computer.

Uploading the new Software to the PolyTune pedal.

In addition, I have also provided a video of the update procedure:
        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6sALvcESQc

        1.2. Installing the USB driver

        1. Important: first disconnect the POLYTUNE pedal from your computer.
        2. Download the zipped POLYTUNE software from the email attachment
        3. Extract the two files: setup.exe and Polytune_SWUpdater.exe
        4. Double click on setup.exe to run this application.
        5. Click on the Run button. Windows will display a security warning and asks you if you will allow this application to make changes to the system.
        6.Click the Yes button.
        7. Close all other applications as instructed and click the Next button.
        8. Click on the Next button.
        9. Click on the Next button.
        10. Click on the Install button.
        11. Click on 'Install this driver software anyway'.
        12. Click on the Finish button.

Now the USB driver for POLYTUNE has been successfully installed and we can continue the Software update process.

        1.3. Preparing the Software Update

Important: before installing the Software please remove the battery from the POLYTUNE pedal!

Now we need to put the POLYTUNE into 'Boot mode', so it can receive the new software:

-Insert a DC plug with 9V/50mA power supply.
(this will only work with a correct PSU)
-Insert a mono jack plug into the POLYTUNE pedal guitar input.
-Connect one end of the USB cable to the computer.
-Press and hold the display button (next to the USB port), while inserting the USB cable into the USB port of the POLYTUNE.

The POLYTUNE should now be in boot mode, as indicated by the blank display. You will note the switch has no effect.

Windows should now detect the newly connected POLYTUNE.

        1.4. Installing the Software Update

        1. Launch the "PolyTune_SWUpdater" application.
        2. Press the 'update' button. When the progress bar has reached 100% the software update is completed and the PolyTune will reboot automatically.
        3. Once the PolyTune has rebooted successfully, disconnect the USB cable.

        1.5. Troubleshooting

        -USB driver installation
-If you have problems installing the USB driver, please try the upload procedure again and make sure POLYTUNE is the only USB device connected to your computer.
-In case you are using a powered USB hub, instead connect PolyTune directly to the USB port of your computer.
-When it comes to the software update application, if you see a message when clicking in the update button, close the software update application and restart the software update procedure from the point "Preparing the software upload" (section 1.3):

-This second part describes how to update the software of your TC Electronic POLYTUNE pedal using a computer running Windows XP.

        8. Click on the Next button

        9. Click on the Install button.

        10. Click on the Finish button.

Click the Next button to start the installation.

        Click the Finish button.

        1.4. Installing the Software Update
