    1. How do I import Channel Lists? Can you provide me with a template for Channel Lists?
    2. I want to copy the parameters of the effect device to another same effect device. What should I do?

    Thank you.

      ChaseMcKnight Hi vvish,

      1. The Channel Lists feature has not been implemented yet. Once it's available you'll see it in mCloud.

      2. Copy/Paste has not been implemented in the Effects Rack yet. Until the feature is available, there may be a potential solution, depending on the application.

Below is a way of copying an entire Fx Slot to another Fx Slot (including subslots).

Show Editor, within Automation, will allow you to copy/paste parameters from an Effects Rack slot to another.

For example, let’s say you have a GEQ inserted on Fx Slot 1 and on slot 2, and you want to copy Fx Slot 1’s settings to Fx Slot 2.

Go to Automation, then to Show Editor. Next please select the following:

      For ‘Mode’, choose Parameters.

For ‘Type’, choose Fx Slots
For ‘Areas’, choose Single Selection. Then below, select ‘Settings’.

Next, to help see better, tap ‘Zoom In’ on the right-side margin in Show Editor.

Now, select Fx Slots 1, in Scene 1. This has the GEQ settings we want copied and should have a Green symbol.

Tap on ‘Copy’ (above editor matrix).

Next, select Fx Slot 2, in Scene 1. Then, tap on ‘Paste’.

Reload your current Scene and you’ll now see Fx Slot 1’s settings are now on Fx Slot 2.

      Many thanks,

Wondering if someone can confirm that the X32 (Producer / Compact) Mixers are compatible to the latest Macs with OS 11 (Big Sur)?

Considering either an iMac (which has 2 USB-A ports, Intel Chip and Big Sur) or Mac Mini (also 2 USB-A ports, & either Intel or M1 Chip, and Big Sur), with pre-installed Logic Pro.

The X32-EDIT software was confirmed (thanks John Matthews) to be functional on the latest OS, but maybe I didn't ask the question clearly enough.

Is the X32 USB Card in the Mixer hardware fully functional on the new Macs?

Nigel67 Hi freddietane, All our USB USB audio / midi devices are fully UAC2.0 class compliant and do not require drivers under MAC OS and will continue to work under CoreAudio as before. Any audio issues with m1 or Big Sur will be purely in Apple‘s domain or DAW related.

Flow 8 has Midas preamps, but I don't know the microphone inputs 3 or 4 has Midas preamps.

Does anyone know microphone inputs 3 or 4 has Midas preamps?

    Thanks in advance.

RexBeckett Hi strong, on the Flow 8, only inputs 1 and 2 have Midas preamps. The mic preamps on inputs 3 and 4 do not have the same performance but work well for less-critical signals.

strong Thanks RexBeckett. If I use the dynamic mic for input 1/2, it will has Midas preamps. How is the quality of mic output?

      • Flow8: Midas Preamp for microphone inputs
RexBeckett I find the quality of the preamps on inputs 1/2 very good. Noise level and distortion are very low and there is no discernable colouration of the sound.

Couple questions. It think the largest card I can use without issues is a 32GB, is that correct? If so about how much time would I be able to record on it?

I tried using the recording feature on my iPad and all I seem to be able to do is to pretty much hit record or stop record.  Doesn't seem to be a way to save /delete/ or anything like that or name files etc.  Am I doing something wrong?

Paul_Vannatto Are you recording with the X-Live card on SD cards or are you using the USB port on the front with a USB stick? Officially the 32 Gb is the max. But many of us have used larger USB cards/sticks without any issues, as long as they are formatted as FAT32 (not MacFAT32) and are fast enough. Recording max time depends on how many channels you are recording. Recording to the USB stick is stereo (ie. 2 channels). Roughly figure 1Mb per channel per second. (:edit: correction, Anthonie's rate is more accurate)

I don't know the iPad app (since I don't own any Apple products). But if you are using a USB stick in the front USB port, recording file name is automatically generated by the X32 (named by date/time) and is in the root folder of the stick. If you are using the X-Live card, each session is named automatically and placed is specialised folders on the SD card.

AnthonieHunter In my experience it is 5 Mb per channel per minute. So 10 Mb per minute for a stereo recording. That is for a standard .WAV file.

    Hey everyone,

I'm aware that when recording via USB, the X32 does not natively record anything other than signal straight out the preamp. I'm wanting the processing (gate, comp, eq, fx, etc.) on my track before it even hits the DAW. In order to work around this, I considered I can either run post fader outputs to a separate interface, or I could try some creative routing. On the latter option, I considered that if I run a channel, post fader direct to an analog output, then via XLR cable, connect back into a new channel and arm that one for recording. This in theory should give me a processed signal I can record into my daw, but I'm not getting signal, and eventually after turning on the gain I just get feedback, but no idication of the signal coming through. Signal from original channel is fine. It's the routing afterwards.

Is there something I need to do in order to make this happen? Is it even really possible?

To simplify, here is an example chain: Kick drum into beta52>xlr to x32 (channel 1)>direct out post fader tap routed to analog output 1>xlr from analog output 1 to input 17>input 17 preamp out via usb to daw (theres no indication of any signal coming into channel 17, however)

I have a brand new x32, most current firmware, X-live card, macbook pro 2017 (big sur) using Logic Pro

CraigFowler No need for analogue loopback. Instead you can use the Routing>out1-16\aux out\ultranet tabs to stage up to 38 post-fader direct outs for whatever channels you want (eg Routing>out1-16 Output1:DirOut Ch01,post fader.

Then go Routing>Cardout and set the cardout blocks to whatever out1-16\aux out\ultranet tabs you used to stage your direct outs.

    Hi Folx-

M32 Edit 4.2 Mac (OS 10.15.7), which was running just fine a few hours ago, now crashes on startup. Nothing about this laptop has changed.

Any idea what could be causing this?

    Hey guys!

I help run a Behringer X32 for our church on Sundays, and I'm finding it extremely difficult to find any good resources on what all the settings do for the new 4.0 and up firmware interface.

Are there any good resources I could look up, or perhaps even a manual that has explainations of all the settings in it? I'm specifically trying to find out what all the different "reset" options do (console/show/library/factory reset).

    Thanks in advance!

    - Mute All ???

    - eine Footswitch Funktion Reverb on / off und Delay on/off wäre toll.

PedroRodrigues Hi, please consider that the unit work exclusively on 48 khz so you will not be able to change the sample rate.
Any unit operating on Mac does not require any drivers but you do have available a FLOW 8 APP for MAC by following the link below:
      https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0DNM
In regard to the Mute functions on this unit Mute button switches off all audio from the FX section. A long press of the MUTE button activates the ALL MUTE function.
The ALL MUTE function mutes all channels 1-8, as well as the Bluetooth channel. To activate ALL MUTE, press and hold the MUTE button.
When ALL MUTE is active, you will see these indicators:
      • The MENU SCREEN will light red.
      • The OFFSET/CLIP LEDs will blink.
      • The two red "1" and "2" LEDs at the top of the VU METER will blink
To exit ALL MUTE, short press the MUTE button. This ALL MUTE mode is perfect for quick and easy connection/ disconnection of cables while avoiding pops and clicks that could damage connected speakers and headphones.
Please consider that in fact the unit was designed to operate as such as and for any more details I would suggest following the link below to access the manual for this unit that will provide you all the information available for the Flow 8: https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0DNM

      Thank you

    • Shanog5050
Nigel67 Hi, it is not possible to put music onto mcloud. It is for your show files, software, and for us to see logs from the console only. May I ask if this is something that you have read in, as if so I need to get it removed. Many thanks
