Per Øyvind Heldal 1-2 days for migration seems awfully inefficient. I would have been fired as a sysadmin for as much as suggesting something similar, even 20 years ago. Today, such transitions are expected to happen within a normal 30-60min weekly or monthly maintenance-window.

      DavidSchumann I agree with Per!
Also why is there still no SSL available?
It's 2015, most 16 year old kids knows how to capture passwords from unsecure network traffic.
Also the smilies are still broken..Smiley Wink

I also found some problems with the behringer website:
      - Invalid URL returns the IIS error page and not the custom 404 error: http://www.behringer.com/EN/test.as
      - Invalud URL with .aspx ending returns the custom 404 error but takes for ever to generate the page. When you reload the page it's much faster (yes I cleared the browser cache, it's because of a server side cache). But with a tool that spams a lot of requests to the 404.aspx and changes the get parameter every time you will be able to take down the whole site within minutes. See: http://www.behringer.com/EN/404.aspx?aspxerrorpath=RANDOM_VALUE
      You may should fix that!

Per Øyvind Heldal I'm not out to bash Behringer. I genuinely believe it is in their best interest to provide the best possible platform for customer self-service. If most customers are enabled to take care of their own problems, then engineers can focus on new creations rather than CC. That is essential throughout the tech-industry in this time and age, and it is absurd that B seems content with something most hobbyists sysadmins would do better.

I'm not so sure the term "master" applies here.

The new forum doesn't seem to be quite ready yet. It isn't possible to log in so I doubt that user-data has been transferred and/or converted yet.

      JohnDiNicola Dear All,
We had some tweaks to make on our last update attempt, which is why we reverted back to the current server in November.

This Sunday evening, January 11 (PST), we will be taking the forum offline again for a period of 24-48 hours to complete this transition.

    Dear All,
We are happy to announce that the official X32-Q for Android app is now available. X32-Q for Android adds full personal monitor mixing capabilities to the X32 Digital Mixer. Each musician can control their own monitor mix with full access to all 32 input channels individually or through BEHRINGER's exclusive MCA (Mix Control Association) faders. Each band member can group inputs to four MCAs allowing for one-fader control over a group of channels, greatly simplifying the mix during performance.

You can download the app free of charge from the Google Play store at this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.behringer.android.control.app.x32q

Patrick Gilles Maillot Thank you... Now I cannot get the app to work properly (as I would expect) with a Samsung Galaxy tab 2 (10"). The app is correctly setup, out of demomode and connected to the X32 (standard, FW2.08).

Moving faders on the X32 have no feedback on the app, and vice versa. The meters are working though i.e. the meters move on the app as they do on the X32.

Now for the funny part, when also (simultaneous connections) connecting with a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone, the app connects to the X32, correctly shows animated meters (as displayed on the X32) but again, fader moves on the X32 are not reported to the apps. BUT moving faders on one app shows on the other app but not on the X32 !!!!

      Any clue???

I guess I'll stick with Mixing Station which work in every situation.

      BrianMonroe Finally! The people rejoice.

Patrick, Remember this app only mixes Bus Sends. Unless you have Sends on Fader pressed you're not going to see any changes on the desk. (my best guess for your issue)

Patrick Gilles Maillot Ah, that explains it then!, OK. I'll check/test it that way then. What I don't get then is why waste all that precious screen space with rather wide faders strips for all the channels if they can't be moved nor follow the deck faders?

      Oh well...

    Hi all,
My name is Phil Gates, and I'm happy to have become a new member of the BEHRINGER team.
I don't want to post a resume or anything, I just wanted to say "Hi" and introduce myself.

I have experience with analog and digital mixers, guitar products, guitar amplifiers, analog and digital recorders, a variety of the usual suspect DAW software platforms, etc. I've designed, and built rigs for folks, set up studios, and in general have been around the block a few times when it comes to audio and gear.
I know the X32 mixer as a hands on user, as well as the P16 family of products for monitoring and in ear use. Love 'em!

I've also spent a fair amount of time over the years touring internationally as an Artist, and have worked as a FOH engineer.

I'm here to help, and will be jumping in here on the forum to do just that.

    Thanks for your time.

    Dear All,
X32 Firmware Version 2.06 X32-Edit 2.2 are now available for download. In addition, there is a new firmware update and Windows driver for the X-USB Card. You can find the download links on the X32's product page at this link: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/X32.aspx#softwareContent

The X32 Firmware V 2.06 Update adds performance improvements to the award-winning X32's
operating system. This new version primarily corrects the Cue renaming function and fixes a level
issue with the X-DANTE expansion card. It also improves the connection reliability with multiple
X32-EDIT application clients. We are constantly adding new features and making enhancements to
this extremely-stable operating system, so that you experience the best possible performance from
    your X32.

If you are upgrading to V 2.06 from fi rmware versions before 2.04, please take the time to backup
all of your data (export Show and export Libraries to USB), as fi rmware upgrades may erase all of the data currently on your X32. Note that V 2.06 works best with minimum X32-Edit 2.2 on PC/Mac Linux computers and X32-Mix 2.2 on Apple iPads (iOS 6 or 7).

This new X32 Firmware version contains:
    Improvements:
    • Fix for loop-back gain issue with X-DANTE expansion card
    • Fix for CUE editing and renaming issue
    • Fix for GEQ with ‘Use RTA Source' option
    • Fix for connectivity issues with multiple concurrent X32-EDIT clients

Release Notes for X32 Edit 2.2:

    New Features:
    • RTA preference for EQ and GEQ overlay stored on PC

    Improvements:
    • FX tubestage home button fix
    • Gate diagram fix for new expander modes
    • Scenes insert Cue fix
    • Thread priority improvements for slower hardware
    • Fix for RTA source PRE/POST bug
    • Fix for Utility redraw issue
    • Improvements for ‘Mackie Control' and screen redraw routines

Release notes for X-USB Card Firmware: Supported operating systems include Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 (32- and 64-Bit), Mac OSX 10.7 or higher. Mac OSX 10.6.8 is supported with restricted channel count (up to 16x16).

    Improvements:
    • Improved device discovery on all operating systems

    Dear X32 Users,
We are pleased to announce that new versions of X32-Edit and X32 Mix are now available, as well as a 2.04 Firmware update for X32 consoles. You can find the updates here: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/X32.aspx#softwareContent

X32-Mix 2.2 is now available in the Apple App Store.

The software versions mentioned above are all working together and we recommend updating all of them. The only exception being unfortunately iPad 1 users, who have no choice but keeping the old app and staying with console firmware 1.15.

Please be aware that we strongly recommend backing up the internal data of the X32 console on a USB thumb drive before updating to the new firmware. The upgrade process may reorganize the internal memory and erase all previous show/scene data. Restoring old show/scene data from USB on the new firmware is no problem, however.

The Version 2.0 firmware includes a number of channel and presets that were contributed by famous X32 artists. These will be loaded when initializing the console's internal library. Make sure you have saved your own presets on USB or via X32-Edit, before you initialize the library!

We hope you enjoy this significant update to the X32 and apps!

    Release Notes:

    FirmwareVersion 2.04 (25 April 2014)

Note that V 2.04 is required for using the new X32-Edit 2.0 on PC/Mac/Linux computers and for the
    X32-Mix 2.2 on Apple iPads (iOS 6 or 7).

    Improvements:
    • Fix for prev/next buttons (decrement) and GO led
    • Disable midi remote encoder/button when remote is disabled
    • Fix for showfile import(snippet_idx offset)
    • New import/export buttons for scenes and snippets
    • Improved OSC server features
    • Screen flicker during scene loading fixed
    New Features:
    • New Mix parameter in channel compressor pages allows for parallel (New York~) compression in
    every channel or bus
    • Actual RTA source displayed on screen
    • Transmission of RTA meter data over OSC

    X32-Edit Version 2.0
X32-Edit V2.0 is a major update and has been re-coded in many aspects, specifically those related to
supporting the new 2.0 console firmware functions. It is providing remote access and metering for
the vast majority of the 2.0 feature set, including support for new Cue-Scene-Snippet management,
remote RTA display, support of all new effects programs and routing options, as well as control over the
new expansion cards, X-ADAT, X-DANTE and X-MADI. However, we are aware that there are some 2.0
details intended to be addressed with the next update.
    New Features:
    • Full compatibility with X32 console firmware V2.04 or higher
    • Firmware V1.15 and V2.0 Scenes, Cues and Snippets can be managed on the console and
    on the PC
    • Remote editing of all new V2.0 Effects, such as Room, Rich Chamber and Rich Plate reverbs,
Rhythm and Modulation delays, Dimensional Chorus, Leisure-, Ultimo- and Fair-Compressors,
Multiband Combinator, Xtec EQ1 and EQ5, Sub Octaver, Edison EX1+ and Sound Maxer
    • Remote display of the console’s RTA metering
    • Configuration pages for all new X32 expansion cards, X-ADAT, X-DANTE and X-MADI
    Improvements:
    • Countless improvements of server communication and graphics routines
    Requirements:
X32 console firmware V2.04 or higher to be installed on the console!
    • X32 Edit for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating system software
    • X32 Edit for Mac OSX 10.6.8, 10.7, 10.8 or 10.9 operating system software
    • X32 Edit for Linux operating system software, tested with Ubuntu 12.04 and Wine

    X32-Mix Version 2.2
    • Full compatibility with X32 console firmware V2.04 or higher
    • Firmware V1.15 and V2.0 Scenes can be transferred
    • Full remote editing of all new V2.0 Effects, such as Room, Rich Chamber and Rich Plate reverbs,
Rhythm and Modulation delays, Dimensional Chorus, Leisure-, Ultimo- and Fair-Compressors,
Multiband Combinator, Xtec EQ1 and EQ5, Sub Octaver, Edison EX1+ and Sound Maxer
Note: GUI support for new X32 expansion cards and specific V2.0 features, such as RTA,
XLR-Out Routing, Snippet and Cue lists, will be implemented in X32-Mix V2.3
    Improvements:
General performance improvements and countless small fixes
    Requirements:
Compatible with iPad® version 2 and New iPad® featuring iOS 6 or higher. Requires a wireless router
connected to X32 (fw v.2.04 min.)
