I have 4 mono sources plugged in to inputs 5-8. But they are only played on one side of the speakers. How do I get them to play on both sides of the speakers?

PedroRodrigues Hi zakufan please consider that when you input a mono signal source the unit will only output the signal as a mono signal. To overcome this you must interface the unit with a computer with the Flow 8 App installed where you will access the necessary tools,. For more information please follow the link below https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0DNM Thank you

Nigel67 Hi zakufan. With a jack plugged into only one of the sockets of the stereo pair, then you will get audio to both mix L and R, i.e a mono input signal. However if you plug a signal into both jacks of a stereo pair, then the respective signals will only appear on the left or right mix. If you are plugging just one jack in and getting signal only on the left or right, then it could be that the pan on that input is all the way to the left or right. Your exact question is asked on this video that someone has put up on You Tube.

Paul_Vannatto Sorry, that doesn't make sense. Can you provide more (or clearer) details as to what you want to accomplish?

    Hi,

I have two KXD15 for keyboard practise and thinking of adding a pair of subs.

The manual details connecting a B1500D-PRO using a 1/4 inch jack and I guess it’s XLR terminated.

As the B1500D-PRO is no longer available I can source a pair of VQ1500D with similar connections.

Can I adjust the crossover frequency to allow the sub to handle the low frequencies only and the KXD15 to handle the mid and high frequencies?

If not, is there a benefit to a 15" sub to a 15" combo?

    Regards,

    Dalryc

PedroRodrigues Hi Please consider that the VQ1800D when it comes to frequency control will provides very similar tools as the B1500D-PRO does, as they both offer HIGH CUT controls the upper corner frequency for the subwoofer’s amplifier and you will not have any issues implementing the VQ1800 with your KXD15. Nevertheless you must be aware that when it comes to crossover function that is managed exclusively by the KXD15 that feeds the lower frequencies on to the Sub not allowing any fine adjustments. For this set up you must use a 1/4" TS 120 Ω, unbalanced connector to feed the signal on to any Sub. Thank you

      • Subwoofer for a Keyboard Amp/PA Combo ?
dalryc Hi Pedro, thanks for that as I now understand. I will be looking at the VQ1500D rather than the 18" speaker - should that benefit me with the 15" combo amp? Also, Can I feed into the sub woofer then use it's crossover to feed into the keyboard amp? Regards, Dalryc

The quick start guide for the 921B says that you have to adjust the "scale" and "freq adj" trimmers on the back to the module in order to calibrate the tuning.  Maybe my eyes are bad, but I cannot find anything on the back labeled "scale" or "freq adj." Can anyone provide a photo of the two trimmers I'm supposed to adjust?

    Thanks:  Jim

    Hello

    here is a quick question

I was wondering if i were to buy an X Touch Compact, how many xtenders could I combine with the master unit in total?

Would I be able to connect enough to control 24 or 32 channels in total? Is it possible to connect even more? so as to give control for even 48 channels?

    Thanks

ChrisEdwards1 Hi JusRoc1, If connecting via the limit is 254 devices as this is dictated by the protocol. However, if you were to use the X-TOUCH and X-TOUCH extender and connect via ethernet In theory the number of devices is unlimited. However, in practice, this would never be able to be proven.

Hi Chris, thanks for your reply and info. I was a little confused with regards to the question. Not so much due to the limitations of the MIDI protocol, but more so to do with the limitation of the HUI restrictions. Although perhaps the channel basic controls isn't included in this? I am not sure. Thanks again

    Hello

Hope someone can help advise I am interested in the customisation features of the X Touch Extender,

and was wondering what exactly could be done with the customisation software, in particular with regards to

its use with the rotary encoders numbers 9 - 16.

I was wondering if it would be possible to use the customisation software to permanently set  these rotary encoders into fx sends 1 - 8, so that they can be used to constantly adjust effect sends to what ever channel is selected at the time.

I would be really grateful if someone could clarify for me as to whether this can be done or not using this compact DAW control surface.

PedroRodrigues Hi JusRoc1 please consider that the X-TOUCH COMPACT is a controller unit and the software control and customization stage is performed on a DAW or any other control software you wish to implement.
It is on this stage where you customize and implement the type of control you are required to control any specific encoders on this unit.
I would suggest checking some DAW and MIDI developers to find specific customization solutions for the encoders you mentioned.
      Thank you

Greetings all-- I have an XR-18 running in a rack connected to my Windows laptop for soft synths. I'm trying to have everything set to boot automatically when I hit the master power on my rack, to simplify the pre-gig setup. I have X-Air Edit set for startup, so it loads on boot no problem. But as far as I can tell, I'm locked into a couple of dialog boxes when Edit loads, and I can't get away from them.

    1) Edit launches

    2) Dialog box #1 is the connect box-- ID's mixer, asks if I want to connect. Must manually hit OK.

    3) Next box asks whether I'm sync'ing PC->Mixer, or Mixer->PC. Must manually select option.

Is there a way that I can script, or command line, away those two dialog boxes? Obviously my selections never change-- I'm direct-Ethernet in between the PC and mixer and no wi-fi on the laptop, so I don't need to confirm the mixer IP. I don't really care which way the sync goes at the beginning, since I only have one setup that I start with.

    Thanks!

sauce Hi, there are 2 options in setup >Connection tab > Auto connect and Auto sync. I think it's what you want, isn't it ?

Paul_Vannatto Hi Jeff, as sauce mentioned, in the latest release (1.7) there are new connection options. But there is a new feature that lets you setup the X-Air Edit from the command line. See the release notes for details.

Can anyone tell me where I can get parts for my berhinger synth, I've tried on here going the regular route and have a case number but it's been a while now and no contact.

Surely there is an easier way, why do companies make things so difficult to buy their products, a part is a product like anything else they sell, just make a site with a list of parts, a price and a button to buy, it's not rocket science.

    Rant over
