    Hello - my understanding is with the Powerplay 16 that can be directly plugged into the X32 Personal Monitor Jack so I won't need to use mic or line outputs.  Couple questions - if I use that is it only mono rather than stereo? And second how do I assign a mix bus to this?  For example output 1 is assigned to mix bus 1, output 2 to mix bus 2 etc.  But I'm not sure how to assign this one.  Thanks

    Also ignore pic attached it won't seem to let me delete it.

      RexBeckett Hi Mike, the Powerplay P16-M can indeed be fed from the X32's Ultranet output. This can carry sixteen separate signals which can be panned as required in the P16-M to produce a stereo mix.

      The signals sent through the Ultranet port are specified on the X32 Routing -> Ultranet tab. The signals can be taken from channel taps or any of the buses.

    Newbie to X32-Edit and X32 Producer.

    The EDIT button allows me to pick which channels to show/hide.

    Their names are "CH01" but I have edited to my own names like "FT VOX" "KEYS 1".

    Can the EDIT reflect my own names?

      Paul_Vannatto In X32-Edit, if you right click on the channel scribble strip, you can change the name and color, if that is what you are asking?

      freddietane hi Paul - Thanks for your reply! That's part of it - when I do change the name, I had hoped that the name would also change in the X32-Edit button called "EDIT" (the large CheckMark).

        Paul_Vannatto No, that does not change

    Following the purchase of a Flow 8 Digital Mixer, I set about learning how it worked – from a user’s perspective. This was done by connecting audio test equipment to the inputs/outputs and observing the effect of each of the controls on the various outputs. The results allowed the creation of an apparent signal paths diagram. The original diagram has been updated to reflect the Flow 8 functionality with firmware V11739. Earlier and later firmware releases may have different signal paths.

    The diagram is not part of any official documentation and is just intended to help users understand how the various controls affect the operation of this great little digital mixer.

    Edit: Diagram revised to correct pre-fader signal taps in Main and Mon buses. (22 Feb 2021)

    Thanks for picking this up ?appreciate it?

    Well im not using a daw. The weird thing is when you run an input source through the mixer ie a cd player or a microphone the input signal on the mains doesnt match up with the source. Microphone input gain is around 0db with no other inputs/Channels active but the mains meter is way over 0db. In many cases nearly even peaking.

    When using the app on an iPad the position of the mains fader is shown to be the same but the mains input signal doesnt match up ?

    The app seems to be showing the correct gain and input signal on the mains.

    I have recently taken over the Sound division so i have had no previous experience with the x32. Is a real issue when we put a full band through. With all mics and inputs at 0db the Mains meters are almost peaking.

      Paul_Vannatto Hi Mark, there can be many things that can affect the signal from input to Main output, such as DCA, buses, compressor makeup gain, etc. If everything in the signal path is set to 0 db, then the input will match the output. The best thing to do is to export your scene (using the Utility button) to a USB stick and save it to the cloud (eg. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and provide a shareable link in your next post. That way we can have a look at your setup for signal boost and better advise.

        MarkQuinton As you can see in the picture the mains input signal is a fair bit More than the input source/s. In this case a CD player.

      MarkQuinton Hi Paul. Thanks for the message:)will defo send you a copy of my scene but the problem is still there even without any signal processing or equalisation etc. I have even done a factory reset and still the problem remains. It is the first version of the x32 so maybe there are some known bugs?

      • Too much mains input signal x32
        Paul_Vannatto It has nothing to do with the fact that it is the first version of the X32. My church has the first version (installed in Dec 2012) and they have been using it since them without issues. What firmware version is on the X32 (Setup, global, firmware version listed on left side)?

    Hi, new to the forum and about to take receipt of my first Behringer AMP. I would like to ask the tribe about running the NX3000 in bridge mode, do I have to rewire the output speakon cable amp end to +1+2 as well as flipping the bridge mode switch.

    My set up will comprise of a Numark Scratch mixer to a Behringer Ultragraph EQ with channel 1 split to my monitors and channel 2 to the NX3000, from there I intend to bridge the signal to my first sub (8ohms) then onto the second creating a 4ohm load and hopefully a stable clear sound to enjoy.

    Appreciate any advice and help.

      DaveMorrison Yes. Unless the cabinet has some type of mode switch or and extra input speakon wired specifically for bridge mode amps.

    Hi,

    not sure if this is the right place, but I'd like to request the following feature.

    With the bus-to-bus sends every works perfectly, but to change the send levels or mute the sends I need to go the multi-touch screen and can't seem to use any of the faders or the custom control knobs and buttons. That would be extremely useful.

    Thanks,

    Daniel

    Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time!

    I'm completely new to the Behringer WING, just got the console yesterday. It shipped with firmware 1.01. After updating to 1.10.1 most of the screens have changed / improved.

    If course I stumbled upon the Behringer Knowledge Base YouTube videos and some of the other obvious resources, but I wonder:

    • Is there any resource explaining all the changes from the initial firmware to the most current one?
    • Are there any great learning resources you guys would recommend? (free or commercial, both would be fine)

    Thanks again.

    Does anyone have any experience hooking 2 X32's together?

    I would go out of the AES50 B side of the FOH into the AES50 A side of the broadcast x32.  The FOH X32 is communication with 2 S16's at the front of our sanctuary

    I know how to do the physical routing of cords between mixers but the routing has me a bit stumped

    Many thanks

      billygallagher How can I connect 2 X32 units with an S32 stagebox?

      Listed just below will be the instructions for using two X32 units and a S32 in a MAIN/MONITOR scenario.

      1. Connect the AES50 A port on the MONITOR X32 to the AES50 A port on the S32.
      2. Connect the AES50 B port of the MONITOR X32 unit to the AES50 A port of the FOH X32 via Shielded CAT-5E with Ethercon connectors.
      3. Now the configuration of the monitor console has to be set.  Keep in mind that in this configuration, the monitor console will be the one controlling the input gains of the mic preamps, so a good and intensive sound check may be done. Press the SETUP button of the monitor console and stay in the GLOBAL tab. Make sure that the CLOCK SOURCE is set to INTERNAL. Press the SETUP button on the FOH console and make sure that the  CLOCK SOURCE  is set to AES50A.
      5. Press the ROUTING button on the monitor console.  On the INPUT  tab select “AES50A1-8” as the source for “INPUTS 1-8”, “AES50A 9-16” for “INPUT 9-16”, and accordingly for channels 17-32.
      6. To route the channels through the on-stage console to the FOH console, switch to the AES50B page in ROUTING on the MONITOR X32 and set “OUTPUT 1-8”  to “AES50A 1-8”, “OUTPUT 9-16” to “AES50A 9-16”, ETC.
      7. On the FOH X32 console, press the ROUTING button next to the display.  On the INPUT tab select “AES50A 1-8” as source for “INPUTS 1-8”, “AES50A 9-16” for “INPUTS 9-16”, and accordingly for channels 17-32.
      8. To get the main out from the FOH back to the S32 to feed the PA, the main outs of the console, which are routed per default to OUT 15 and OUT 16, have to be routed through the monitor X32 console.  To achieve this, select the AES50A tab in the ROUTING of the FOH console and set OUTPUTS 9-16 to “OUT 9-16”.  On the monitor console, choose the AES50A tab and set OUTPUT 9-16 to “AES50B 9-16”.  The MAIN OUTPUTS of the FOH console are now available on outputs 15 and 16 on the S32

      • Hooking 2 X32;s together one for FOH and One as a broadcast mixer
        windizzle I should clarify. The FOH X32 already communicates to 2 S16s at the front of our sanctuary via CAT coming out of AES50A. So that system exists. I want to put an X32 rack in the sound booth and go out of the AES50 B of the FOH into AES50A of the rack. The FOH X32 and stage boxes already are installed and working. I hope that makes sense. My apologies

      Paul_Vannatto On the FOH X32, Routing, AESB screen, make the following assignments:
      * 1-8 -> AES50 A1-8
      * 9-16 -> AES50 A9-16
      * 17-24 -> AES50 A17-24
      * 25-32 -> AES50 A25-32
      This will transfer the 32 channels from the 2 S16 through the FOH to the Broadcast X32

    Does anyone know how to upgrade the firmware on my MPA 200BT with IOS or Mac?

      NicJonesMT Hi MarioLento
      Unfortunately I dont have access to the MPA at the moment as we are all working from Home still, but I Don't think it is possible from an Apple device.
      You could try sending the FW file to the speaker via Airdrop however I do not think this will work.
      Your best option would be to try and get your hands on an android device to perform the update.
