    Hi.

I'm looking for an older version of X32 Edit software for PCs. The current version 4.3 requires X32 console firmware V4.06 or higher. I know we're not there and to tell the truth I don't remember version firmware we're running on our board.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Vinny

Paul_Vannatto Hi Vinny, we would need to know your firmware version (since the Edit version is linked to firmware version) and your OS (Windows, Mac, linux, Raspberry Pi). Is there any reason why you can't update the firmware to the current version?

      DavidKnighton Hello vpodowd,
If you go to Behringer.com/downloads, you can find the required firmware for your device and then click "SHOW ALL VERSION". This will give you more options than just the latest software available.

This is a weird one... I have an X32 producer and an x32 Rack. The issue is the same on both. Inputs are working fine on the S16, but I cannot route anything to output ports 9 throu 16, unless they are also routed to the same port on the console. So, for example, route mixbus 1 to port 9, no signal. Also route mixbus 1 to port 1, and port 9 starts working.... It appears the S16 ports will only work if the routing source is matched on the console....

KevinFairburn Hi Dale, I've sussed it. For some reason the S16 decided to switch itself from 9-16 to 1-8 all on its own...

I searched the forum and Internet but I cannot seem to find an answer.

We will use X32 and S32 (S32 should be arriving in 3 days ☺️) as IEM. We are using the Aux out for our IEM.  I want to use the combined 24 XLR outputs as direct outputs for each channel to send to FOH. How do I route this?

    Thanks in advance

Paul_Vannatto Hi Eddie, are you wanting to output the channels or the inputs? You are aware that by doing it this way, the FOH engineer has no control of the gains or phantom. Some engineers will take issue with that.

GaryHiggins You could use “user out” routing. They can then be selected for both xlr out and aes50 out assignments in the order you set up.

EDIT: I rewrote this and deleted some other partial replies so as to make it more easy to follow.

You need to setup 2 or 3 of the “staging” menus first. Out 1-16, Ultranet out and Aux out are the 3 routing menus often referred to as staging menus. Out 1-16 could be set up for direct outs of ch’s 1-16, Ultranet out could be set up for direct outs of ch’s 17-32. Aux out could be set up for 6 other options, perhaps bus 1-6 (though aux out is probably not needed at all in this situation). You can then select any ch in any order from any of those 3 menus as the sources for your user out banks. Once your user out banks are set up as you like you can select the desired user out bank for your xlr and your aes50a out routing. XLR Out is for the X32 physical XLR outputs and AES50A out 1-8/9-16 is for the S32 physical XLR outputs. They will only be the same if the same source group is selected for each, they are independent of each other.

ValeriuM_Trufin I haven't looked at what exactly it does, but see what XLR OUT do. I am assuming logically it means you can use onboard outputs to route something else than what's selected in the OUT 1-16. So you can try going there and check if you can select any channel/signal, and then just route in OUT 1-16 the rest that will go via AES50 to the S32 outputs

        GaryHiggins

If you look at the 3 menus Out 1-16, Ultranet out and Aux out (very easy to see this in X32-Edit) you will see that the source options are exactly the same for each menu. They however each can use completely different selections and are independent of each other. Out 1-16 can be for example direct outs 1-16, Ultranet out can be direct outs ch17-32, aux out 1-6 could be Matrix 1-6. A user out bank lets you grab any single ch from ANY of those 3 menus and put in any order in that user bank. Then selecting the user bank puts it where you want. So instead of routing say out 1-8 for aes50a out 1-8, you select user out 1-8, the user bank selection is output instead. The pic below shows a purposely odd user out bank 1-8 to demonstrate.

    Hello everyone.

Haven't recorded in a year or two (too much performing with teh band. I tried to do some recording and was having mac problems and decided to do a clean install. I cant seem to get any audio input to work from my Behringer X32 (4.06 firmware) into my Cubase 9.0 DAW. I recently upgraded to MacOS 11.5 (Big Sur).

In Cubase DAW, I opened VST Connections and chose Input setting to 32 Mono inputs from the X-USB ASIO drivers. Confirmed Device Setup and the X-USB ASIO drivers are selected and I can see the channels are active. X32 audio signal is fine and can hear signal from my mixer. Output om the DAW is routing back to my X32 fine through th Aux Ins 1&2, but still no audio is going into Cubase 9 from the X32...

Anyone know what I am missing? Been here for hours going over so many settings. Routing on the X32 is LOCAL 1-32. Can't figure it out? Is there a software or hardware incompatibility? Or am I missing something.

BrenScott Any help appreciated. I just invested in upgrade to Cubase 11 Pro and going to install that now. Maybe this will fix it. fingers crossed - if anyone has any ideas please share them! Thank you in advance!

Paul_Vannatto Hi Bren, what I don't understand is why you are using ASIO drivers on a Mac. The X32 USB is core compliant, meaning that Mac OS and linux do not require drivers for the USB audio to work. Only Windows require the X-USB ASIO drivers installed.

Does anyone know how to route a channel (USB) to a computer to use outboard effects and then return the effects back to the mixer?

I want to use my Mac and Waves Effects to apply to five vocals and then return the processed signal back to the X32 to go to house sound.

    Hi there,

I have a UMC202HD audio interface plugged into my Lenovo laptop, and a pair of Taotronics headphones plugged into the phones jack of the interface with a 1/4" adapter. I recently noticed (through this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkObqRUvpRY) that when I the "left" audio is playing I can hear it in both ears, and with the "right" there's just silence.

How do I fix this? I've tried re-intalling drivers but that didn't do anything. I also tried to unlink the left and right sides on the UMC control panel "levels" section but that didn't do it.

    Any help? Thanks
