    Hello,

i'm facing a strange problem with my K-2. It doesn't make any sound if the trig-in is not connevted to trig-out. If i want to work with it i have to plug the trig-in to trig-out. Yes the led blinks when i'm pressing any key but no sound comes out.

    Please help!

Two questions on my XTOUCH in conjunction with XR18:

    1.  Using Windows 10 and MIDI-OX, I'm unable to get MIDI-OX to discover the XTOUCH as a MIDI device.  I've got it connected via USB cable.

    2.  Where is master fader for each AUX Channel.  I understand how to route signal and adjust volume from individual channels into an AUX port.  I cannot figure out how to adjust master volume for each AUX port on the XTOUCH.  Easy to do in XEdit software.  Just make sure the selector is set to the AUX port you want to manage and move the fader in the far lower left hand corner up and down.  How do I accomplish that task on the XTOUCH?

I am feeding my x-32 via from the x-if card (2 channel) to a Mac Studio (2022) and I'm getting sporadic "pops" in the monitor speakers attached to the Mac Studio as well as in the headphones in the X-32. I am using a USB printer cable (16'). Any thoughts or sugggestions would be appreciated.

Paul_Vannatto Is the samplerate the same (44K, 48K) in both X32 and Mac Studio? What is the buffer set to in Mac Studio? Also, the 16' USB cable is the max length with a repeater. Try a shorter cable.

Dale_M The X-UF card has issues like this on later versions of MAC and WIn and is no longer supported by Music Tribe as it is a legacy product, it would be advised to swap it out for the X-USB or the X-LIVE card.

Does anyone know how to reset a WING mixer to return to factory settings?

    Hey,

Long story short, oscillators in my Model D seem to be stuck quite a few octaves above their basic level.

I recorded this short video, rather than explaining what is wrong: https://youtu.be/sCHoSNCFXjg

I have the latest firmware, tried to use USB, change MIDI cables, change the controller and use it both via MIDI IN and MIDI thru, different electrical outlets, and a different power adapter. The status in the video is how it behaves no matter what and it's been like that already for a couple of days.

So I just wonder if it's dead or if I am missing something.

    Thanks

Trying to control my x32 from my mac mini, need help with software as the newest app can't be verified by apple.  Is there a legacy version download available?

    Thanks in advance, Luke

DaveMorrison Hold down the Control key when starting the software (from the finder) the first time and allow it to run.

    Hey there.

Just set up my BC1200s for the first time but I get heavily distorted audio.  I am not an audio engineer so I assume this is no fault of the mics at this point.  I am just needing some help.

    Setup:

    Mics > UMC404HD Interface > 27" iMac > Reaper

additionally, I have a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 Interface.  I set these two interfaces up as an aggregate device on my mac.  The distortion from the mics happens regardless of the setup... Either the aggregate or just the UMC or Just the Focusrite.  I have all of the Pad buttons pushed in I am not getting any clipping indicators on either the DAW or the Interface.   I attached a brief recording to show what I mean.   Any input would be wonderful!

My "Dad Band" is anxiously awaiting delivery of our new Behringer PMP 500 mixer.  This is primarily for live performance, but is there a method or best practice for recording performances/rehearsals directly from this equipment?  If not, is there some add-on equipment that would make this possible?

    I'm very much a neophyte.

Is this possible wing new firmware that can use USB, dante, or other expansion card as a channel insert and not just only limit at premium/standard FX external fx.

Hopefully this can be added to the new firmware.

    Thanks.

Paul_Vannatto This feature is currently available (and has been in the firmware for quite some time). In the Standard FX list, at the very top is the External plugin. Assign that to one of the channel (or bus) inserts. On the External FX screen, assign the return to one of the channel strips. To assign the sends, do that on the Routing, output, FX Sends screen.

WING_Fred Hi, we juste need a direct output/return to any signals (USB/Dante/etc..) per chanel and let fx slot free for any inside plugins... (sorry for my english, I'm french!)

Paul_Vannatto You can already assign any signal to outputs and returns. But the channel strip inserts are linked to the FX engines and therefore must use the External plugin in order to make those assignments to the inserts. That is the way the Wing is designed. As far as I know, that design cannot be changed.

    I've got the UMC204HD.

I have a good mic going into input1 and it works fine with live monitoring with my headphones.

BUT, if I place my phone/mp3 player/iPad into input 2 via the 3/4" jack, the audio coming from there sounds massively watery/wobbly/cuts out/mid range is missing/voice frequencies are totally lost, YET the mic works as it should.

If I unplug the mic, it sounds fine. but when the mic goes back in, the sound from the mp3/ipad player goes bad again after a second. Almost like something flicks a switch

Any suggestions? or should the DAW not be used this way?

Essentially I want to play music via an external source(iPad), hear it over my headphones, and also record myself playing the sax, via the mic with live monitoring.

Any ideas or help with this?

    Cheers

PedroRodrigues Hi kuztardd, that effectively will not work as the INPUTS on the UMC204HD are exclusively for Mono uncompressed signals. The MP3 is an effectively a stereo compressed file.
I would suggest just use your UMC204HD and your DAW and to set an extra track on your DAW where you will have the audio file present on your phone/mp3 player/iPad playing.
This would allow you to control all your creative process on your DAW.
You will not be able to play music via an external source (iPad) but you will have the same files being played on your DAW and all your reaming required will be possible such as hear it over your headphones, and record yourself playing the sax, via the mic with live monitoring.
It is important to take under account that the configuration will depend on the features available on your DAW, but if you are using a DAW LIKE Reaper that will be possible.

      I hope this helps.

      Thank you
