Hi, would it please be possible (like all other behringer products), to have the flow product page have a firmware section to advise customers

    A) when a new version has been released and its revision number with date of release

    B) What new features have been added

    C) What bugs and issues have been resolved

The only way to check for a new version is to fire up the Simply PUT app, connect your mixer and verify if its a new or old firmware release. It doesnt tell you anywhere (that i can find), whats new, fixed or broken with the version of FW. If even the app had the release date next to the firmware it would be a start, but would be prefered if it was put on the webpage with the date and a PDF with the changes etc in it.

    Thanks

    Dave

PedroRodrigues Hi DavidThomson1 you are absolutely correct that information should be on the product page available for any customer, I will make that recommendation to the respective team,to make it available. Meanwhile please follow the link below to access that information for the last FW released. https://wsi.li/dl/ycTi8EMrwed2t79uM/ Thank you

PedroRodrigues Hi DavidThomson1, thank you for your reply, the document sent was merely a guideline on the type of document to expect when the team, that manages these aspects proceeds to make this information available on the product page. Thank you

Hi. I ended up resolving the issue myself. However, I am not sure what the problem was in the first place.

While trying to get my Crave to respond to MIDI keyboards, both an Arturia Keylab Essentials 88 and an Akai MPK Mini MKII, it would play one note fine. Then it would skip the next one or two notes played. It seemed like it needed time to respond to another note on or keypress. At one point it seemed to work find with a sequencer but then it would not.

I just used Synth Tool to Restore Global Settings - clicking the button and it all seems to work well again. I am going to record another sequence and see if it all still works.

Now I am trying to record a sequence using the Crave onboard controls and following the directions in the Quick Start Guide. It does not seem to be working correctly. Playiing the Crave with the MIDI keyboard still works.

dear knowing folks! i bought an m1 Mac Mini in February 2021 and did some tracking with Reaper and X-Touch - no issues: all LEDs were working, scribble strips showing track names, faders operated as expected.

October 2021: no LEDs anymore, no track names and faders on 0 or moving to 0!!!! But still working on as they should on an old Win Laptop

On the Behringer product page there is a firmware 1.21, so i tried to update - not with the M1 but with my older Lenovo Win10 Laptop unfortunately no success: the x-touch display read "1.21    1.04", but nothing works and the encoder LEDs showing "full left"

Is 1.21 really the latest firmware?

I don´t know why it was working before and i don´t have a clue how to make it working again!

PedroRodrigues Hi derschulz20, thank you for your post please consider that the latest firmware for the X-TOUCH is in fact 1.21.
The process to update is the following:
Please follow the link below to download the latest firmware for your unit.

      https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0B1X

Windows users can use SendSX for sending the update file to the controller.

      Steps to update the firmware:
Keep DISPLAY button pressed during power-on
Connect X-TOUCH to computer via USB
Use any MIDI SysEx dumper to send the update file (.syx), don't send faster than standard MIDI rate.

-SendSX or MIDI-OX on Windows recommended

-Snoize SysEx Librarian on OSX recommended

Cycle power after the dump has been sent

Confirm the firmware version by holding down the DISPLAY button during power on and you are ready to proceed with the connection process of your preferred mixer.
Concerning the issue you have reported on your M1 Mac I would advise you to contact Apple directly as the new architecture released on the M1 may create issues on units developed for the Intel Chip architecture that is no longer used and any information on this matter is exclusive provided by Apple. Thank you

derschulz20 I tried to update exakt as Pedro described, used a Win PC an a M1 Mac Mini, tried different USB cabel on different USB ports with different software and different transmission speeds -> the above picture is what i get. Looks like my unit is not able to run firmware 1.21! At least it is possible to step back to 1.15.

I recently starting building a Eurorack system, starting with the 100 series of modules.  I have recently discovered that the 112 Dual VCO modules were originally plagued by a tuning issue where they would not track properly over the full range of the oscillators.  Videos posted by Tim Shoebridge indicate that Behringer has fixed the problem in a newer release of the modules.  So far, I have only bought one 112 module and I haven't tested it fully to know if it has this problem or not.  I would like to buy more 112 modules, but I don't want to get them unless I can determine whether they are the original ones with the problem or the newer ones without the problem.  Is there some kind of a version number on the module's PCB that would indicate whether it is an old or new version?

We're new to X32. It seems like we have to turn the mic gains all the way up as far as they will go in order to get a somewhat usable signal to the input strips. The meters on the input strips barely budge past -24db. Is this normal for Berhringer? We're replacing an aging Yamaha board where the gains were rarely set above 40%.

DavidThomson1 what sort of mics? Radio or wired? do they require phantom power perhaps? are you using proper balanced cable between the mic and the desk? my SM58s I need to drive harder than most other mics I own (Senheissers), but never more than about 35db of gain

DanielThompson Thanks David - We started with three phantom powered wired mics, 2 AKG P220s, and 1 AKG GN30E. +48 is turned on for those channels otherwise we'd get nothing. We just want to get those working before we moved on to dynamic mics and DIs. The balanced cabling was run professionally, XLR on either end. Again, this hasn't been a problem with the Yamaha board this is replacing.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Mewi, the Q1292USB is USB class compliant and for MAC no drivers are required. It will utilize the MAC's core audio system, however, on PC the ASIO4ALL Driver is required.

Dale_M Hi I am afraid we do not make these cases, you may be better asking on a Facebook user group to see if anyone else has managed to obtain one or have one made.
