Hi guys im interested in purchasing the

    Behringer 1004 SAT SERIES

My question is I see it says the sub is an active speaker however it states the other speakers are passive speakers so i am presuming they dont have inbuilt amps on board. If thet is the case do they get there power and signal from the sub or you you have to run a seperate amp to run them.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Halvo, yes, the satellite speakers will be powered via the sub. No separate amp is required.
The quick start guide found on the product page includes a setup diagram which shows 2 different methods on how you can connect them to the sub.

Halvo Thank you for your help Chris its greatly appreciated. I am trying to plan a little system to connect to my Pioneer Dj rx dj console in my house and connect these speakers to the dj console.Would I need to come out of my Dj console with one or 2 xlr cables to the sub. Also the furthest small speaker away from the sub will be approxametly 32metres away, will that be ok. Please see attached the rear of the Dj console.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi Halvo, I would recommend having both XLR outputs on the DJ Console connected to the Sub and yes that distance should be fine, however, I would recommend this is done with one cable length and not multiple connected together.

    Hi

I have just bought a Behringer NR-300 Noise reducer and would welcome some advice please.  I was looking for cusrtomer service and ended up here.

I normally connect my pedal board via a send/return to my Fender amp but the send/ return  connections on the NR-300 didn’t seem to work properly when I plugged them in.  It will be me, but I have now managed to connect them with the IN/OUT sockets – see attached sketch.

The instructions were fairly basic so some advice on using the send/return and whether the NR-300 is in the correct position in the pedal chain would be helpful.

    Thanks for your help

    Ian

I'm trying to set up the wing so that when I press mute on a channel while in FOH mode would also mute that channel in SOF mode.

Is this possible and if so how would I be able to program or assign this.

    Thanks

GaryHiggins Not at the desk but it would be a setting or checkbox that says something like "Hard Mute" I know in the X32 it is under mute system and IIRC it is also similar for the Wing. I just looked and don't see Hard Mute so...maybe its the DCA mutegroup button...I would try that turned on. EDIT: I think if you made a DCA group that included all the desired ch's to be fully muted and then enable DCA mutegroups, muting that DCA will mute those ch's everywhere, FOH and buses/sof. Perhaps a mute group that includes all mixer input ch's is worth a try? A thought anyway...

Paul_Vannatto I'm not at my Wing at the moment. Have you tried changing the tap of the send to post fader? IIRC that is the only way to mute the channel and sends concurrently.

Hi, I cannot route audio signal of VLC player (and some other applications)  to UMC1820 on Windows 10 and 11, while there is no problem with others (e.g. DAW, iTunes).  I have set te UC1820 as default audio output. What is going on?

Hi. My XR18 is behaving strangely. For example, on a given scene, one of the track was clearly receiving signal, NOT muted and the mains meter was moving but no sound from this track was audible. To get it working I had to mute/unmute. Another one: a track is sent to two aux bus used as a stereo pair but is heard only one side. To solve this I moved the left/right balance from center to left back to center and now everything works. Last one, a track requiring 48V was not working at all even if the 48V was engage. To solve the problem I had to unengage/re-engage 48V. Anyone knows what could cause this funny (but annoying) behavior? All these problems have in common that the visuals on Xair Edit show that everything is fine but is not in line with what I should hear. And on all these problematic situations other tracks in the same scene were fine (so yes speakers were opened and plugged...). Thanks!

Nigel67 Hi kegmuzik. Is this all on the same scene or different scenes? And has it started happening after a firmware upgrade. If you initialise the mixer and start a new scene, do you still get strange effects happening? If not, then its possible that your scene(s) have become corrupted, maybe on a firmware upgrade. If when making a new scene you still have the issues, try a factory reset and see what happens then building a new scene. You will need to back up any show / presets that you have on the unit as they will be deleted.  With the unit powered, locate the hole in the front panel by the access point logo.  There is a switch behind the hole.  Push something through the hole gently until you feel a click as the switch activates.  Hold the switch in for 12 seconds and when you release, the unit will reset.  Set up the connection again and see if you can reproduce the issue on a brand new file to begin with and then an existing file. Hope this helps

    Hello

I'd like to know if it's possible link two X Air (XR16 or XR 18) between them in order to double the number of inputs and AUX available.

Obviously I'm not interested in using a master-slave configuration, where outputs from the slave are sent in inputs of the master, but in a parallel configuration.

If the link is possible, may I use a mixed configuration like 1 XR16 and 1 XR18?

    Thank you in advance

Paul_Vannatto No it is not possible to link them in parallel.

eguyharley Yes, I just did it and posted how easy it was. The trick is to plug them both into a single router. Then open a second XAIR window. I renamed the mixers Slave and Main so I could tell the difference. I plugged the output of Slame into an input in Main. Works like a champ!

Paul_Vannatto But that does not link the 2 consoles. It just allows each console to be controlled by separate XAir-Edit. In other words, you can't send channel 1 of console 1 to bus 3 of console 2, etc. If console 1 Main LR is connected to FOH speakers, there is no way to connect console 2 Main LR to the same speakers (unless they are powered speakers with integrated mini mixers)

I just read your other post explaining what you did. That is not what the original poster wanted (no master/slave).

Nothing in the manual and nothing on the whole internet(?)

But... can you do a 'factory reset' on this drummodule?

Hello, I just bought a behringer x air 18 last week and am immediately having issues with channels 1-16 not recieving any input signal.
I am not having any issues with the unit connecting to the app, I have it hooked up to a router as well for stronger signal.

Channels 17 and 18 seem to be picking up signal just fine. I also updated the unit to the most recent update i could find. version 1.18

CraigFowler Check that ch-18 are getting their inputs from inputs1-8 (in/out button) and that the USB return signal isn't engaged. Also check gain and +48v if your mics need them.

Ryanbretsch Everything is routed correctly. I had my kemper plugged in to input 1 yesterday and turned up the mic gain, sound came through but it sounded bad, very distorted and crackly. Starting to think i have a defective unit.

I have a Behringer xd8usb and it was working very good before, but now im having some issues with it. I turned it on the other day and went to play it and im not getting any drum noise. I only get a humming noise with both of the jacks, any help would be greatly appreciated. I checked the solders and everything in the head unit and it all seemed to look ok. Is there a way to factory reset these drums to the original state? I can press on all the drums and the lights will show up on the HDS110USB like it is getting input. I also checked the power supply cable and it is the original cord.. 9V 500MA.
