Where are the release notes for the X-Touch firmware version 1.22?
Hi AndrewBroughton.
The Dev team have advised that this firmware does not have a firmware release note. It was required by production to support alternative MCU's.
Thank you.
But, that could be a release note. "Support for coming MCU hardware. No new features, functions or bug fixes."
They could include the release notes from previous versions as well, in case someone is upgrading from pre-1.21.
Appreciate you finding out the answer, though!
Is there any way to get a sub connected to these monitors? They're pretty mid-rangey and when I use them to mix, the bass always sounds heavier on other systems (like in my car or through a Bose CD player) because I end up over-mixing the bass to hear it in these.
Looking for a suitable way to carry this monitor as the duct-taped box is falling apart! HELP!!!
When I connect the TM300 to my Accoustic Bass, all I hear is Feedback in the Amplifier. How can this be cured.
I have an X32 Compact connected to an SD8. I have recieved audio from the SD8, but I can not seem to be able to send. I'm using it to connect the production truck to the house audio to send and recieve a few signals.
Muchas gracias,
Jorge
Hi All,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to request firmware enhancements or not, but I can't find anywhere better, so if anyone is able to recommend a better approach, I'd love to hear it.
The v4 firmware for the X32 family added User Patch to the routing options. This is a huge improvement over the 'blocks of 8' patching available in v3, and I'm very glad it came in. However, there's one big limitation which I'd love to see overcome in a future firmware release - selection of the tap point for the User Patch outputs.
My previous mixer was an X-Air XR18, and that mixer allowed the USB outputs to have their tap points selected, in the same way that the Ultranet outputs do on the X32 Rack. I'd love to see this functionality added to the full User Patch output section too, as currently I'm having to use a limited workaround where I set the Ultranet output taps, then use User Patch to link the 16 Ultranet channels to my USB outputs. I can't do this with 17-32 though, forcing those outputs to be pre-fade pre-mute, which doesn't fit with the needs I'll have as I expand in future.
Given that this functionality already exists in the X-Air XR18, and for the 16 Ultranet channels in the X32 Rack, it would be really good to see it expanded to cover the User Patch output set too. I'm assuming there's no hardware limitation preventing this, as the Ultranet workaround achieves this for 16 channels, so it seems like this would be a firmware tweak (and associated X32-Edit update) to add the tap point configuration.
Thanks in advance!
One of the channels (channel 14) has the wrong information displayed on the scribble strip. It is showing the information from channel 30 instead of 14.
Channel 30 is in the same physical location on bank 17-32 as channel 14 on bank 1-16.
It shows "Ch 30" (where it should show "Ch 14") in the large font on top left of the strip display.
It seems that the actual channel 14 audio is indeed coming through correctly even though the information on the scribble strip is wrong.
I am at firmware 4.03. Is this something that could potentially be resolved with a firmware upgrade or do you think this will require service?
Rebooting did not fix it.
Hey there,
Recently startred using a Flow 8 for my desk setup. Everything works great except the headphone audio coming from my PS4 through a converter, to the board, and out the headphone output.
It's odd, because I get some game audio just not all of it. I have a trs adapter that im using so its not a mono problem. I just dont get in game dialouge.
I have tried it with other small mixers and it works perfectly, so I'm very stumped on why this specific board won't give me in game audio.
Let me know if anyone has any ideas!
Hey thanks! My the audio coming out of my ps4 is an optical to rca converter, then rca to res into the mixer. I used this same set up with a 3 channel Pyle mixer and it worked perfect. Why would the TRSS issue arise on one and not the other?
