I am contemplating using a TC Helicon VoiceLive Play as an effect with a H&A QU32 digital mixer. Here is what I have in mind reading the manual. Does this seem right? My goal is lead vocal (dry) into unit from the mixer and only harmonies/effects return (wet) to the mixer. If you can suggest another TC Helicon product that might do better than the VoiceLive Play let me know.
Scenario
Aux in for musical input for harmony generation from mixer (line level) using "Live" setting
Mic Input with vocal to be processed from mixer (can a line level be used instead of a mic level)
Left Out - Dual Mono-a-Mono Voices Only with "Lead" mute "on" so only the harmonies come through
Right out - nothing, not needed
The polytune manual says just play and it'll show the tuning of all strings… What about a 12 string?
I also don't see that it has a microphone… what is the recommended way to tune an acoustic with no output jack?
Are there no options to buy a clip on attachment to the headstock instead of having to buy a microphone just a tune an acoustic?
Hey all, was wondering if anyone else had some problems when controlling the Voice Live Rack (or VL3 it happens to both) in Ableton. I'm controlling the Presets via midi on a song by song basis for synced BPM eg. It works well but if we ever mistrigger, turn off the tracks or restart a song it sends a message to turn the Transducer on. I've had a look and I can't figure out why this happens. Was hoping someone could have a fix.
Cheers!
Hi there,
I'm looking for an overlay to use on my XTouch running Cakewalk by Bandlab. I can see in this video https://youtu.be/l-8VO1vpc7U that there used to be such overlay in this forum, in a thread called "X Touch and Sonar" by Marius Bowitz, posted on 11-25-2015, but now is nowhere to be found. Any idea where to get such file? Unfortunately the design in this link https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/10931-anybody-have-a-behringer-x-touch-and-want-a-cakewalk-overlay/ doesn't match the functions for Cakewalk as it advertises.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance and greetings from Chile!
I have the Behringer X32 digital mixer and periodically it wont turn on. I will have to turn it on and off 20, 30, 50 times before it will actually boot all the way. Any suggestions on how to fix?
Hello, I have two important questions I have a ULM300USB microphone that I connect to two B115W speakers but the voice comes out only on the speaker even though they are connected with the blutooth that you can hear stereo.
1) is it possible with another usb for example on the other speaker to get the voice out? Or is there a system without using a cannon cable which then comes out all mono?
2) how to connect the microphone to a mac because I tried on two macs but neither of them is detected the microphone when I insert usb.
Thanks,
Matteo
I play the A string, then record a loop, then stop the loop after 2 seconds.
I would expect a almost continuous sound. However there is some noise every time the loop is restarting (attached file is a recording showing the issue)
Hi,
I'm using high quality cables and power supply. Everything is ok on this side.
The looper is using the latest firmware 1.3.0.0. I even reinstalled the firmware and it changed nothing.
The support has been contacted.
Can anybody here having a Ditto (any model) could please try to reproduce the issue ? It only takes a few seconds... I would like to know if it affects all the pedals or just mine... Thanks !
Some time ago we showed you a draft of our AKS Mini, a scaled down version of the VCS3 but with the exact same oscillators, filters etc. and of course the magic sound.
We received such great feedback that we decided to simply build a prototype. And here it is:-)
But we haven’t yet decided if we’ll build it and maybe we’ll keep it just keep it for ourselves - just kidding:-)
Retail price is targeted at US$ 99.
Of course the final unit will have the USB-C connector:-)
