Hello Everyone.   I am on an M32r, and am not new to the console.  I am trying to set up a Broadcast Audio set up.   I routed my MON L and R to 2 XLR outputs on the desk ( outputs 7 and 8) I am getting the Audio signal, but I don't have level control Via the MONITOR LEVEL rotary knob on the control surface.   Am i missing something.   If I use the TRS C/R outputs, the rotary knob works.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

John Matthews The pots in the monitor section are direct controls for the monitor outs and headphone outs respectively, what you describe is normal.

    Hi there,

I'm currently using a Midas M32 for live shows that we also stream on facebook. And with Facebooks new rule regarding recorded music I need to find a solution for the playlists that plays between sets.

I'm sending a matrix of the desk to our camera which is streaming the show and I wondered wether I could somehow omit the stereo track I play music from the matrix?

    Many thanks,

Kyle Johnson Hi Richard, Kyle here with Music Tribe. It depends on how you are feeding the Matrix. If you have the Main LR mix sent to the Matrix, everything in the Main LR Mix would be sent out. Assuming you want to keep the track playing in the house, you would want to use a Mix Bus to feed your Matrix bus, and just don't add that track to the mix bus.

      • Can I omit a track from a matrix on M32?
Richard Hunt Thanks, that's what I was thinking.

h I have a bh 250 bass head and I am wondering what is the maximum load ohms it can handle it only says minimum 4 ohms on the back. I have a 16 ohm cab can I use this and what is the maximum it can take thanks

Tc Mike Max load is 4 ohm, because that's the worst case. It can handle 8 ohm or 16 ohm or 32 ohm just fine. 4 ohm is where it has to deliver the most current, so that's "max load" in a sense. so you'll get the 250 watts into 4 ohm load.
      125 watt into 8 ohm...

I would like to control parameters of my neutron with a pedal. I don't see any pedals that produce plus and minus five volts. I spose I could make one from an expression pedal.

John Matthews Hi Braam, Not directly as they run from different protocols. X32 uses AES50/ ultranet. Check the Behringer P16 monitoring system and the DP48 which will work directly with X32.

Hello everyone, I'm using TC Helicon PE to do live looping using mic, guitar, and AUX (keyboard controller) input. The problem is, when I connect PE via USB as my audio interface to record my live looping in Logic Pro, there's no output sound from AUX, which I connect to loop the drum kit sound from my controller. Is there any way to make the controller recorded in DAW as part of the looping? Thank you.

by the way, sorry for my broken english.

I had someone push a button somewhere that effects the routing of the effects.  The 4 internal effects on Buss 13,14,15 and 16 show signal going into Buss 13-16 on the LED's above the faders, they are unmuted and the faders are on 0, but when I punch up the effects screen, the indicators don't show signal going into the effects units.  Yes, on the screen they show effects 1 on Buss 13/13,  effects 2 on Buss 14/14, effects 3 on 15/15 and effects 4 on 16/16.

Dave Morrison The easiest way for us to find the problem is for you to post your current scene on Dropbox, GoogleDrive, etc. and post the link here.

    Hi,

I run an installed X32 at a church and am considering chaning my multicore to digital. Can I run a single Cat5e cable to an SD16 then daisy chain to an SD8 using the ultranet ports to hang a P16D from each so that I have drop boxes for both audio inputs and P16 outputs on stage simply connected by single Cat5e cables?

    Many thanks

Kyle Johnson Hello, Kyle here with Music Tribe. Yes, you can connect from your X32 AES50A or B port to the A port on your SD16, from the B port on the SD16 to the A port on the SD8. And then from the Ultranet output on either of the stageboxes to the P16D for distribution. You can also connect the P16-M units directly to the Ultranet outputs on the SD16 and SD8.

    Hello Guys,
I bought a new X-Touch. When I put all the faders up to 0db I got this difference (1 and 3).
There is a way to fix/calibrate this? Thanks!

John Matthews Hi, this is due to the fader tolerances. Could you please submit a tech support case via the support button at the top of the page and the team will be able to advise the options to get this resolved.

Designing a system for a bar restaurant.  Have a totol of 9 zones with 6 fixed inputs and a snake for band performances.  Can I use the X32 as both a sound board for the band and setup output zones with remote zone controllers (tablets in each location to selcect source and volume level) for the restaurant and multiple bars?

I haven't worked with the X32, but am guessing I can program the output Zones, just don't know if I can program mutliple tablets to control only certian functions such as selectiing source and controlling volume for each zone.

How many different tablets can control the X32 at the same time?

Can the tablets be programed or locked into specific function of the X32?

Kyle Johnson Hello, Kyle here with Music Tribe. Short answer, yes. The X32 has 16 mix busses as well as 6 matrix busses, so you can easily setup outputs for different zones. There are multiple apps you could use, the X32 app for iPad gives you full control over the console for mixing FOH. You could also use the MX-Q app for your zones, MX-Q is designed for performers to mix their monitors, but at it's core it really gives the user control over 1-2 bus mixes. So you could send busses to your zones and have an iPad or iPhone setup to control that zone with the MX-Q app. You could also control the separate mixes for each zone using the main X32 app from FOH.

It's a fairly easy setup, just creating bus mixes and routing them to outputs. Or sending your main LR mix to Matrix channels, and routing those Matrix channels to outputs.

You would need a wireless router connected to the X32, and then connect your mobile device(s) to the router as well.
