We receive audio via CAT5 and have an XLR as a backup, but during a session, as we were live streaming and the x32 itself glitched out and we lost all signal. We restarted the board but nothing happened. Then we restarted it again then the signal came back. What could have caused this board glitch?

RexBeckett Hi John, Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) can cause symptoms like this. It is important that connections between X32 consoles and stageboxes are made using shielded Ethernet cables with etherCon shells bonded to the shields. Without solid continuity between the etherCon shells, ESD can cause drop-outs and lock-ups.

People also get caught-out if the X32's Safe Main Levels option is turned on. This will pull the main faders down on a restart and possibly on a short power glitch.

Does anyone know if it is possible to copy board settings from one ipad / mixer to another?

We are wanting to simply duplicate our inputs used in one part of our building to use in another.  We have two XR18's.

    Thanks for your help.

RobbyWingfield Hi Steve, Robby with Music Tribe here, To load a scene, you'd need to have the scene saved on a computer running the X-Air Edit software, load the scene in X-Air Edit, and then when you connect to the X-Air mixer and are prompted to sync, you'd choose "PC to Console" instead of "Console to PC"

On TC Helicon voicelive 2 I cannot get any volume from guitar from V-loop on playback. Coming out of a line 6 helix with plenty of output signal directly out of helix to "guitar in" on helicon then out of helicon (guitar thru) directly to powered speaker. When I record a guitar part and playback I can barely hear the playback. Vocal recording on the V-loop is fine (equal volume from PA to playback). The demo shown on youtube for Vloop shows no indication of this being an issue nor does the manual give much detail on V-loop. I'm trying to save DSP on the helix.

Question #1 Can anyone PLEASE tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Question #2 Can I mute the guitar when using V-loop and only have the vocal playback BUT still have the helicon recognize the key on "guitar in" so I can continue to set the key the helicon will see for harmonies etc.

Just bought a Behringer UM2 and would love to register it for warranty and downloads. It is not obvious to me as to how to accomplish this.  Thank you.

    Hey fam,

I attempted and successfully replaced the battery on my System 6000 MK1/Black. I actually installed an "Upright 3-Tab" CR2032 battery holder that I can pop a new battery in and out of! It worked great and I was able to get my licenses back within an hour of the new battery and holder install and I ws back up and running. I attached a photo of the holder. I actually purchased them on Amazon. I had to purchase a dozen but were less than $7 US.

DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT USING A SOLDERING IRON AND REMOVING SOLDER FROM A CIRUCUIT BOARD!

Nigel67 Many thanks for sharing. I have never seen a vertical holder like that before. That will come in useful for some old Klark Teknik products.

I am newbie to this mixer.  I cannot find a channel mute button... trying to move a mic during live church service and would like to mute the channel while still live...surely I am missing something simple.

RexBeckett Hi Pooch, you are not missing anything. The RX1202FX does not have channel mute buttons. You can prevent pops on the main outputs when moving a mic by pulling the channel fader down. You cannot prevent noise on the monitor mix though.

It would be better to use two mics rather than moving a single one. If that is not possible, use a mic mute switch. e.g. https://www.dv247.com/en_GB/GBP/Rolls-MM11-Pro-MicMute-MicTalk-Switch/art-REC0012114-000?soluteclid=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA34OBBhCcARIsAG32uvP52FcitHZ9t2SBcMznBV5ZfYWxQKArhx-ANQiuENEoBdl2oOXrl-YaAt7pEALw_wcB

Pooch RexBeckett. thank you so much. Previous mixers I have been exposed to (church system) have had that mute button. It appears we are needing to continue to upgrade our equipment (both of our our mics have on off button that dont work!!!). . Thank you so much for your quick response. Very polite...Pooch

RexBeckett Sound Engineers sometimes bypass mic on/off switches intentionally. Many of us have had bad experiences when the talent turned a mic off accidentally and ignored the frantic hand-signals!

Pooch I have minimal experience in years past, now trying to use mix of some new equipment with older mics in church. Not my background but learning again quickly. Learning to stream and record. Pretty simple set up with 4 mics, PTZ camera, Roland switch board, couple of computers etc. The sound portion of course has been the hardest to learn. Good to know people are here to help. We can definitely grow into our equipment. Thanks again RexBeckett

    Pretty simple question.

We're trying to set up an audio network to do live stream mixing via Logic, using DL32 preamps and the WING mixer to send the sources.

Since the Dante card is not yet available for the WING, nor is Dante compatible with the M1 Macs, is there a way to send channels out from the WING via an AVB Network?

    Thanks,

    Jed

      DavidKnighton Hello tubijack,
The Wing Dante cards are available now as of a few weeks ago, but alas, that does no good if M1 macs do not support Dante Virtual Soundcard. At the moment, Wing does not support any other format/protocol other than AES50 and USB. Might I suggest a Klark Teknik DN9630. With this, you can send an adjacent AES50 line from the console to your computer station. The 9630 will convert AES50 to USB so that you can interface with the computer. Note: there has been some issue with M1 and Big Sur in regards to USB devices, so I do not know if the 9630 is compatible at this time. I would strongly suggest an earlier machine running an earlier OS if you are having interconnection problems with M1.

There doesn't seem to be any obvious way to reply to a care ticket I submitted. There is no reply option in the care portal, and the reply I recieve in my email claims to be from an outgoing address only. How am I supposed to get in touch with someone in order to fix my problem, if there is no way to respond to them??

Attached is a screenshot of my original ticket and the email I recieved.

It also needs to be said - My experience with this website has so far been abysmal. The layout is poor, unintuitive, and just overall clunky, the site itself is very slow to load, and the overall experience is very detachted and impersonal. All I want to do is get in touch with someone who can help me with a tech issue, yet I need to jump through all of these extra hoops in order to do that.

Please, someone tell me how I can get in touch with somebody, so I can resolve my issue and move on with my life.

KyleJohnson Hello, Kyle here with Music Tribe. You can definitely respond to the email sent to you from our agent, I will look into the notice at the bottom as this looks to be in error. Thank you for your feedback regarding the system, I will pass this along.

    Hi there,

Is it possible to connect two unbalanced 1/4" L&R outs from the Behringer 1024USB mixer to XLR balanced cables that each feeds an active speaker?

I'm trying to find a solution to a PA system in a Buddhist centre that can have independent volume control from the main out (the mixer's onboard USB connection sends the digitised main out to a Macbook and, therefore, the centre's Zoom classes).

The centre has a Behringer 1024 USB mixer, which has separate control room outs with their own volume control, independent of the main mix. However, it's these outs that are unbalanced.

Any advice on this, please? Is it as simple as getting a femaleXLR/TS adaptor, or femaleXLR/TLS?

    Cheers,

    Scot.
