What's the USB Port for - the manual says "when connected to computer it shopws up as a class-compliant USB MIDI Device capable of supporting MIDI in & out." - is there a save function for the patches I create other than the patch notes at the end of the manual??

      DavidKnighton Hello MaxResonant,
I'm not sure what product you're speaking of, but if it's a Behringer synth, the USB port will serve a few purposes. Firstly, some synths will have software upgrades available, as well as some real time software enabled settings. These can all be appropriated using the USB connection. Secondly, the USB MIDI can be used to trigger the synth from software, such as Ableton, Logic, Pro Tools, Etc. You could essentially record MIDI tracks and have it play the notes through the synth, much to the effect of a sequencer. This is very useful if you're a solo artist and you want to utilize multiple synths at once. Saving presets is unfortunately not supported, as the majority of controls for these synths are all analog potentiometers and not digital rotary encoders.

My speakers when I turn up the volume they clip.
I have other cheaper speakers and they sound harsher without clipping.
I've tried everything and can't get a good performance out of those speakers.

Nigel67 Hi Florres1522, This could be that you have to high a signal on the input to the speaker. I think you will be better off submitting a ticket to the Technical Team and they will be able to investigate this further with you. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Many thanks

Flores1522 I tried and they never answered me. I only received email asking for an answer and then they closed the ticket.

    Hello!

I recently bought Behringer x32 Rack.

    Our band has three guitars.

On Master Out they are –

    - first, mono, panned hard left,

    - second, stereo (using two in`s, linked together), at the middle

    - third, mono, panned hard right.

Also there are some drum mics panned left and right.

    Monitor wise:

besides other MixBuses there are two stereo Buses from which one is on two XLR/Out linked together, but other - two Aux/Out routed to MixBus 9 and 10 linked together.

    And here is the question:

    1. How can I get panning in both stereo MixBuses?

Unfortunately, first and third guitars and drum mics do not pan, however second guitar and sampler are OK in the mix.

RexBeckett Hi llmars, there is a Pan control on the channel's Sends tab for each linked pair of Mixbuses. See attached. The adjacent LR Pan button, when pressed, uses the pan setting for the channel to Main LR mix also for the channel to Mixbus send.

I was testing a midrange speaker for signal. I had the output too high, voice coil started to arc and melt within a couple seconds. I unplugged the speaker cable, then turned the power switch off. Waited two minutes. Plugged in working speakers and powered back up. Amp is in protect mode and a steady click comes out of both channels. Help!

Nigel67 Hi, if you disconnect everything except the speakers and repower, does it stay in protection mode? If so, then the unit will need to be looked at by the repair centre. Please send in a service ticket. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Service tab and submit a ticket. A colleague will then get back to you with an RMA number and advise the local service centre to you.

I just tried that and the protect lights are still on on both channels. I'll open a ticket. Thanks Nigel! -Paul

    Hi Guys

I wanted to know the best settings to use on my Sub'n'Up pedal to get as close as possible to emulating the Bass guitar sound on tracks such as Jet Harris' Besame Mucho or Diamonds which are instrumental hits from the 1960's.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Pete

One of the clubs I work for uses a xenyx 1002fx to mix sound and send it to a dcx2496. It goes over a pretty long distance, right along the power wires... I know the xenyx output is unbalanced and the sound quality is obviously reduced. They just used some TS to XLR adapters to make everything connect and they thought it would work. I am thinking of using a passive di box to balance the signal, would that make sense? Or could someone recommend an alternative, preferably from behringer as well?

RexBeckett Hi padand, it does make sense to balance the signal but a normal DI box would reduce the level too much. A better solution is to use transformers that are designed to operate at line-level. One example is the Behringer HD400.

I just bought an s32 and was trying to load the latest firmware with my PC. I followed the instructions on the pdf but my computer won’t recognize the s32 as a usb device.

    any suggestions?

Nigel67 If you are having difficulties upgrading the firmware on a S32, it could be because of the USB port you are using on the computer. It needs to be either a USB 2 (black) or a USB 3 (blue) that is USB 2 compatible. Does the S32 definitely no appear in Bluetooth and other devices? If you are using a hub, please try plugging it directly into the PC.

Thanks! It was the hub.I think it worked this time. Is there any way to verify what firmware is is running in the box?

      • S32 firmware update
Nigel67 If you power up the S32, connect the computer to the USB port and then look in Bluetooth and other devices. The S32 will show up there and the software version will be shown with it.

Can I use the pedal as a volume pedal at the same time it is connected to an effect pedal thru the expression pedal output and switch to either volume or expression ?

Considering both are connected at the same time, if I will press to change my effect using the expression, the volume will also change. I don't want that.

I've sent attached, the scheme I want to use. The tremolo has an exp input, so I can control the intensity.

      DavidKnighton Hello cautrindade62,
I don't believe the pedal is switchable like you want/need it to be. The volume adjustment passes through the pedal and a built-in potentiometer that is controlled through the motion of the pedal. There's no way to bypass this in favor of EXP output.
