I recently updated from a 3 version to the 4.06 firmware. Suddenly all my inputs and outputs don't work on the x32, (the jackinputs work on the rack but that is all)

    They all work on s16.

I tried to downgrade the firmware which i did but then my computer couldn't connect to the x32 anymore. I couldn't find older versions of the drivers.. not sure if that would work.

Do i need to take it to a repair place?

Nigel67 When you downgraded the firmware, did you get all your inputs back? If so, try upgrading through firmware version 3.12 and then go to 4.06. When you previously upgraded to 4.06 and the inputs were not working, was this with a scene that you had made on V3? If so, then its possible that your scene is incompatible with V4.06 firmware. Try your inputs from a default set up. You didn't mention how you upgraded the firmware. I would advise the method -

Make sure that the firmware is in the root directory of the USB stick.

Press, and hold in the 'Recorder' sections 'VIEW' button while switching the console on.  This will cause the console to boot into the update mode.

Once in the update mode, plug the USB memory stick into the top panel USB connector.  The X32 will wait for the USB drive to become ready and then run a fully automated firmware update.

If a USB stick fails to get ready, updating will not be possible and it is recommended to switch the console off and then restart from the beginning.

The update process will take two to three minutes longer than the regular boot sequence.

Older versions of firmware can be found at this link - https://www.behringer.com/downloads.html Then click on the box that sais 'Show All Versions. You can also find older versions of the X-USB driver by selecting X-USB in Product instead of X32. You may need an older version to work with the older Firmware.

If you require further assistance, I would advise filling out a Technical Support Ticket. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket.

Hi i should have been more specific and said that it was an x32 rack! So the start up advice wont work because i don't have a recorder or view button. I have opened a ticket but haven't heard back yet. I will try your other ideas, thank you for letting me know where the old drivers are. i couldn't get the old firmware to work. I'll let you know if it works.

I am attempting to set up Adobe Audition 2022 with the Behringer UMC1820 interface, and not quite successful yet.  I am using a Windows 10 PC.  I am in the initial phases, and reading some of the posts here, am wondering if this is a reasonable pairing.  I don't mind a few workarounds, but I do want to know I will be able to successfully record  music with this setup.

Are the two compatible, or should I look for a different DAW to use with the Behringer?

    Thanks

I have a Turbosound ip2000 that I have been using for the last six years in my shows and recently it stopped working. I have taken it to a repair place in my area, but nobody seems to be able to work on it. Can someone direct me to a repair shop that can fix it? I live in Raleigh NC. Thanks!

Nigel67 Hi Scootierabbit63. If you are the first owner, then the ip2000 may still be under warranty. Unfortunately, if the repair centre that you took it to has opened the speaker and tried to repair it, then the warranty will be voided. To find the Authorised Turbosound Repair Centre closest to you, please go to this link (https://www.turbosound.com/buy.html?type=POS) and choose one in the Country which you reside. If there isn't one, please contact our Super Partner for the Country in which you reside (https://www.turbosound.com/buy.html?type=STORE). If the repair shop that you took the speaker to didn't work on it, then please open a Technical Support ticket and we will be able to help you further. This can be done by clicking on the support tab at the top of the page. A new window will open. Scroll down and click on the Technical Support tab and submit a ticket. Please include a copy of your proof of purchase (invoice), a return shipping address and a contact number. Many thanks

My ip2000 seems to work with only one column in the array.  I'd like to reduce my height due to other musicians on stage.  My question is what are the disadvantages of using only one of the arrays in the column vs using both.

Nigel67 Hi GlenDal. We do not advise removing any part of the columns recommend it would cause an open load on one of the amplifiers which could potentially cause damage. Operating the system outside of what the manufacturer has intended may result in unintended consequences, and could void your warranty should problems arise because of this.

Has anyone had an issue of a 6 month wait for parts ? Then go back and check your ticket to see it listed as (solved)? This has to be the worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life . It's shame a company has this type of monopoly on products and their support is basically non existent. Sure would be nice to actually speak to someone and voice a complaint about poor customer service.

      NicJonesMT Hi Dan.
Can you please click support at the top of the page and from there you can submit a support ticket.
Please note that the receiver dongle is normally hard paired to the microphone that it is supplied with, and that a replacement unit will not work.

I just upgraded my Odyssey to firmware 1.1.2 using SynthTribe 2.5.7 on a Mac. Now, there is no sound from the oscillators, neither when using the keyboard nor when using the sequencer or an external midi controller. The noise generator is still working and following the envelope generator.

I noticed that the Odyssey seems to interpret any received note (via keyboard, sequencer or midi controller) as the same very high note. There is a very high pitched sound when it receives a note and the filter when keytracked behaves the same as if it receives a very high note.

I have restarted the Odyssey several times and did a reset in the SynthTribe software, with no success.

The synth is completely broken for me now after this update.

    I have raised a ticket (CAS-619787-P6L0F8).

Is there any way to downgrade?

    Kindly, Annaluise

      • Odyssey no audio from oscillators after firmware update to 1.1.2.
annaluiseblume Dear NicJonesMT, yes thank you for your help! I just wrote in here as well in the hopes that someone else already had the same problem and found a solution. I'm a bit desperate because i need the synth in an upcoming show.

      • Odyssey no audio from oscillators after firmware update to 1.1.2.
annaluiseblume I have just tested the CV and GATE inputs at the back of the Odyssey. Using these the Odyssey works just fine.

So I guess the problem lies with the Midi-to-CV converter, which is affected by the firmware update.

The problem has been solved by recalibrating the Odyssey.

This had been suggested by the support team from the beginning. But I had dismissed this suggestion because I thought that the calibration would only affect the hardware and not the software. And the hardware was fine as I could test using the CV input.

The problem lied with the Midi to CV converter which translates the midi signals (Odyssey's keyboard actually sends midi to the synth part of Odyssey) to CV signals. This converter actually lost its calibration during the firmware update.

I want to thank the Support Team for their professional, quick and friendly help!

On the other hand I have to critize that the software to update the firmware did not warn that a recalibration might be necessary after the update. This changes the update from a two minute mouse click action to a one and a half hour hardware procedure for which you need a volt meter.
Opening the synth and measuring the voltage on the circuit board might not be something that everybody might be able to do themselves. So a warning might prevent trouble for some customers.

Generally, there are better ways to do firmware updates. I strongly suggest using the Web MIDI API for this. It would solve a lot of problems related to different operationg systems and networking problems. It's also bad practive to not offer to roll back the firmware. Being able to roll back the firmware is essential.

Again: Thanks to the Support Team!
      Till then,
      Annaluise

Is there a rack mount for the P16D? I really need a rackable solution. I thought about getting a power over ethernet switch, but I read that won't work with Ultranet. It's hard to believe that this can't be rack mounted.
