So I have waited and waited for my iq10(s) to arrive. I was excited about using the eathernet port but quite honeslty now I just want to get rid of all of them. One works great however the other one does not work so great it will be playing and just cut off the audio and then it comes back on. On and off on and off no matter what i DO. I can use XLR or Eathernet and both cut off. Ive switched cables and everything. Im so so so frustrated to say the least. I had always wanted turbosound and I sold all my gear to get this and now ive got a speaker that dont work. I have created a ticket but now I will be even longer with out a speaker.  :(

Alexander Lane Hi Joe, my apologies for this! Glad you have put in a care ticket, that is the correct way to handle this.

      David Knighton Hello Joeoverfeltmusic99.
Silly question, but is the speaker already on the latest firmware? Double check in the UI what firmware is installed.

      • I can not update my IQ15B Subs Firmware.... any ideas?
David Knighton 2.2 is the latest firmware for this model. Sometimes it takes a minute for the computer to recognize the USB connection upon start up. If you try executing too early in the process, it might not even see the device. Try to give 1 minute after start up.

David Knighton you could also open CMD prompt on Windows and drag the .exe file into the prompt. That has the same effect of double clicking the file, but you can usually see some feedback at the same time.

4 years old and recently the red/green power led is flashing red. There is no sound. I have tried a different power lead, phono lead and external sound source.

Alexander Lane This certainly sounds like a hardware fault in the amplifier, could you please submit a service ticket to have the unit repaired?

Click "support" at the top of the page, then select "service request" and fill out the required info.

This is for a non-warranty related piece of gear.  It has been almost two weeks since last CARE service request was made for same issue.  I placed a second one just now.  I do not have time to play corporate run around games.  I am a working professional, who is only asking for what almost all other manufacutes have on their websites, Service center locations, that are not hidden behind registration walls.

I am in San Antonio Texas USA.  I am looking for my local Behringer Authorized service center so that I can take my Behringer device to the service center and have the device repaired on my own dime which does not require a corporate permission one would think, seeing that it is a NON-WARRANTY repair.

    Thank you,

    Bjorn Haga

Looking for an inexpensive way to compress the signal from 3 mics before sending to my Behringer VC340 and other vocoders for recording and live performance - can I use a xenyx 1222's mic pre's and compressors to do that and then route the resulting 3 signals from the direct outs (via the insert points) to my vocoders and then into my main mixer?

      David Knighton Hello Joel Braverman.
Looking at the schematic, it would appear the COMP circuitry precedes the INSERT point. Rather than use the insert points though, I would suggest sending all 3 mic channels to an AUX (either MON SEND of FX SEND) that way you only need to output 1 signal into the VC340. When you use an insert point as a direct out, you end up cutting the channel off from the rest of the mixer. You see, the insert is expecting to see signal back on the return line, so it interrupts the normal circuitry. Effectively, is you use the insert as a direct out, you won't be able to pass that channel to the MAIN LR.

Hi. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I can't seem to search with the right words to find the answer. I took my TurboSound sub to a friends gig tonight so they could add it to their old powered JBL tops. When I got there I saw they were (and had been for years) running mains out trs from the mixer to xlr out on the JBL's! How does that work? Any advice, gratefully received.

Rex Beckett On some speakers, the XLR (link) output is directly connected to the XLR input. Therefore, they could use a TRS/XLR-F cable instead of the usual (and correct) TRS/XLR-M.

      • Why does mixer output to Speaker output work?
Simon Guppy thanks for that. Unfortunately i didn't get chance to set up as i wanted and had to quickly change them to desk xlr out to speaker xlr in, then run outs from the tops to my sub. the tops had no crossover so, by the sound coming out of the tops all frequencies came through the tops. If I'd run the desk to the sub first (turbo sound iq15B) then into the tops, would (or should) the crossover in the sub, only let through the higher frequencies to the tops? (sorry, newbie question probably)

      • Why does mixer output to Speaker output work?
Rex Beckett The XLR outputs on the 1Q15B are unprocessed copies of the XLR inputs so not high-pass filtered. You can use the iQ15B DSP settings to adjust the frequency range that the sub will reproduce. If the top speakers have adjustable/switchable high-pass filters, you should set them to compliment the sub frequency range.

At the church I work at we have an s32 connected to an x32 by a shielded cat6. Last night when we turned everything on the "mute all" button on the s32 was red and would not turn off when you press it. Has anyone else run into this and have you figured out a solution?

Kyle Johnson Hello, Kyle here with Music Tribe. First things first, you should switch your cabling to Cat5E. Cat5E is the spec for AES50 and using different spec of cable can lead to clock issues. The MUTE ALL light being stuck on typically means the S32 is not syncing to the X32 correctly. Try switching around which ports are in use and try a different network cable. It's possible that the AES50 ports on one or both units need to be repaired. I recommend you contact us directly by submitting a Support ticket using the Support link at the top of the page.

fbcpanamacity2501 It might be Cat5E, I would have to check. I have submitted a support ticket but haven't heard back just yet. I will switch the ports and see if that makes a difference.

    Hello,

Parameter knobs on my X5 have no effect on settings in Play mode. My understanding is that the knobs should work in Play mode. Is this correct?

    I am running 1.1.52.

    Thanks.

William Reichling Hello, The parameter knobs don't do anything in play mode currently, this is a feature that will be implemented in a future firmware update. To make any tweaks to your pedals in the Plethora from the face of the unit, you have to flip the switch to edit mode.

    Hello,

Has anyone else tried custom TonePrints for X5 that utilize LoCut and/or LoShlv?

LoCut and LoShlv have little to no effect on the SubnUp slot in X5.

I made a TonePrint for the SubnUp pedal with a LoShlv that cuts out input to the octaver below 450Hz with a 12/db slope. Screenshot attached. I do this so that the bass register of my extended range guitar does not generate any octave effects. As I get into the midrange register, the sub and up is added to thicken and brighten the tone. This works very well. The tone/timbre thickens seamlessly and requires no pedal dancing as I move through various registers.

On the X5, lower register notes always generate octave signals so the tone is too thick for my taste. I need a standard dry bass tone in the bass register.

I tested HiCut -- HiCut works as expected in X5. I am running firmware 1.1.52.
