Hi all. I am new here and am in no way a musician. I am rather a music and movie enthusiast. I purchased a Behringer FBQ1000 at the begining of 2020. I have hust unpacked it this week and was thinking of using it as a parametric equaliser to equalize the subwoofer in my home theater that I drive with the EP2500 in bridge mode. I have read all I can, the user manual and a few other white papers, watched a few videos on YouTube although the one I was intersted in was in a language I could not understand, Polish I think. For the life of me, I can't get any frequencies to stick. Here is what I have tried so far: Factory reset- Filter Mode=PA Filter select= I have tried #4 & #5. Filter select 1, choose a frequency Ex: 25Hz Bandwidt and gain and then hit store once. The display flashes for the chosen filter select (4 or 5). When it stops, I go to filter 2, and repeat the same operation for the 6 filter bands I need. But when I shut off and turn on again, it shows the chosen channel in the display (4 or 5) but all the red leds are flashing like no filters have been applied. Then it seems to be counting and some of the leds turn solid red all the way to the last filter. This takes around 30 minutes to complete I am using REW software to figure out the filters I need. What am I doing wrong?

Needing help with the Wing. We have setup up our unit for HOW service, ran through all the setup and most everything is running great.  Want to interface with our DAW (Pro Tools), however protools does not recognize the unit when plugged in via usb.  All firmware is up to date on the Wing, Pro Tools has been completely updated, the Macbook is running most current version of OS, however it acts like its just not there.  We have been through the DAW setup multiple times using the Bheringer guide and any and everything we can find on the web, anyone have any ideas?

Also, tried different usb cabling and so forth as well.  Have the old x32 we replaced on hand, fired it back up no problems commuincation to the same mac, using the same cable so that should rule that out.  Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance

I have a few of my channels that are not going out the MAIN send, on just TWO of my scenes. I know it's a routing issue but I can't find out what the problem is...please help!

Our chruch is adding a streaming camera system and I do not want to add a microphone for audio quality.  I have a Behringer SX3242FX Euro Sound Mixer and want to know if I could route the audio from the mixer to the camera software without adding a second mini mixer?  I want to have control.  I am sending the FOH feed to an amplifer and could split the output and adjust with the sofaware.

    Is this fessible?

Rex Beckett Hi Scott, you could use the main output from your mixer but sometimes the best mix for broadcast is not the same as that for FOH. In this case you could use Post-Fader Aux Sends to create a custom broadcast mix.

If you don't already have one, you will need an audio interface for the broadcast PC. Something like the Behringer UMC202HD would be suitable.

Unless the broadcast PC is close to the mixer and running from the same mains power outlet, it may be necessary to isolate the grounds in the cable to avoid hum/buzz. Something like the Behringer MicroHD HD400 would be suitable.

I am beyond furious with Berhinger as a company!!!!

As far as I can tell, their support is COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY NONEXISTANT!!!!!

I have reached out for support multiple times.  I've received little to no response.  Any response is minimal, no care at all about the problems their crap equipment has, no questions about the problem, and all the suggest is I do an exchange with the seller, despite there being no evidence of hardware issues with their device!!!!!

Absolutely no troubleshooting, very minimal response.

I've requested responses MULTIPLE TIMES NOW!!!!  I get nothing back, I am being ignored!!!!!!

I will be returning my equipment for a full refund, and will now be back to the drawing board to have to find hardware that actually works.  But I just want to make it clear to anyone and everyone - Behringer is not to be trusted, they offer no support despite having multiple chances at it, and I will continue to state this anywhere and everywhere as often as I can, as I think it is important for people to know this!

Marc Gonzalez I’m having problems and got told to contact the shop I purchased the product from, You would expect to email the company that manufactures the product for support but apparently they can’t help either. The shop I purchased my product from could not help due to it truly not being their fault, so therefore they did not have a solution and did not understand how to fix the issue, which is forgivable. That is why I emailed music tribe directly for help and support. Furious and Pissed the F*ck off doesn’t begin to describe how I feel right now!!!

I have one of the old USB/Firewire cards.  I had to use an ancient driver (6.13) to get it to work at all but all audio crackles and pops.  The newer usb drivers do not work with this card.  I really do not want to have to purchase another USB card to get this to work on my new PC.  ANY ideas are greatly appreciated.

I've searched the forum but haven't found this exact question so forgive me if it's been answered. I couldn't find it. I have the X32 Compact and tried to hook it up to my new PC (instead of the old Macs we've been using.) The PC has Windows 10 but only has USB 3.0 and USB  3.1 ports. I tried installing the drivers from Berhinger but it doesn't work. It sees the X-USB card but says the 2.0 drivers are not loading so it can't start the device. Which means my board is not usuable with the computer. Which means my DAW can't see it.

Is there a way around this? Am I doing something wrong with the drivers? Is it because I only have 3.0 ports instead of 2.0? I'll admit I've been on Macs for so long I've forgotten Windows.

I switched from a Mac to the PC because it is more powerful. I tried to stream using Livestream and connecting to the board for the audio on a Mac mini (2012). It saw the board but running Livestream made the CPU capacity go up to 96% and the system just stops.

Kyle Johnson HI Kevin, Kyle here with Music Tribe. The port on the X-USB is 2.0, but technically 3.0 should work okay. Make sure you are downloading the correct USB driver, there are 3 versions of cards with USB ports and each has their own driver. The X-USB driver Version 4.59 is found at: https://www.behringer.com/behringer/product?modelCode=P0AZP

Kevin Ewing That is the driver I used. I tried installing it by extracting the zip and double clicking on the app. It says it was installed and the app is loaded in the system tray but it still doesn't see my Behringer. Also when I look at Device Manager I don't see the drivers. It says USB 2.0 not recognized under sounds. I assumed it was because I don't have 2.0 drivers.

Am I loading it incorrectly? Are there steps I'm missing?

Kyle Johnson I think this will require deeper troubleshooting. Please submit a technical support ticket by clicking on Support at the top of the page, then scroll down and select Technical Support.

I cannot connect to the the XR18.  My tablet says it is connected to the external wifi but the app just says searching.  Below searching it says wifi connect to my router.

I have an Ipad and it connects just fine.  What is the resolution.

Rex Beckett Hi Terry, tablets will often drop the Wifi connection to a mixer in favour of one with a route to the Internet. Check if the Wifi connection has changed after you start the XAir app. It is sometimes necessary to forget other Wifi connections (such as your home Wifi) to stop this happening.

I have seen the Andoid XAir app get stuck in search mode if there are problems with the Wifi connection. This can be fixed by forcing the app to stop - through Andoid -> settings -> Apps.

I find that Mixing Station XAir handles communications better than the standard app. It is basically the same app but with much more development (by the same author). It costs nothing to try the free version from PlayStore.
