Having started with an X32 when first introduced I moved up to the Midas M32. All of the firmware updates have been beneficial until 4.06. I have taken all my consoles (3 of them) back to 4.0. The firmware 4.06 drives me crazy. When selecting any part of the center cluster all the channels go dark. What's with that? I've gotten used to the updated channel labeling but 4.06 is a downgrade not an upgrade.

Once we get used to the interface of a product it makes no sense to make sweeping user interface changes when updating the firmware. I don't want my engineers to have to go back to relearning how to work the desk.

You are over thinking firmware updates. Leave the user interface along. Fix bugs but don't make the console so different that we can't use it without relearning how it works.

I am trying to use a virtual (gotowebinar) interactive program on my laptop to communicate with people in attendence (Ballrom) and virtualy.

I have a Behringer Ultra-DI6009 which enables the sound from my laptop to go through a mike input to a amplifier connected to the ballroom sound system.  People in the audience can hear the virtual people when they speak.  My problem is connecting the ballroom sound system to my laptop so that virtual attendees can hear what is happening in the ballroom.  Currently I am using a second laptop set up infront of a monitor speaker on the amp to broadcast the sound.  This is ok unless there is background noise in the room where the amp is.

Any suggestions to set up direct sound input to the laptop

RobbyWingfield Hi Oceanaire, this is Robby with Music Tribe. Any UMC audio interface would be well suited for this task. You could take a lineout from your ballroom sound system and plug that directly in to your UMC audio interface.

RobbyWingfield Hi Soph123, Robby with Music Tribe here, in order to link the fader of your X-Touch one to something beside volume, like to a MIDI CC for example, you would need to run your unit in MIDI mode. Note that you will some other functionality that is pre-programmed in to the MCU mode built for Ableton Live. If you require more help, please submit a support case above and we can assist you further. Thanks!

Today, most cell phones come equipped with default krafta. These are pre-installed ringtones that are generated by the manufacturer or cellular phone service. Sometimes, the ringtones can be inappropriate or annoying, especially if you are a fan of certain music genres or artists. In order to change these default ringtones, you will have to locate and use a ringtone download for your cell phone. Here are some examples of situations in which a ringtone download might be appropriate.

    - New Text Alert Tones. When you receive a text message or a phone call from a friend or loved one, you can use the built-in messaging feature to add a short message and a pre-programmed ringtone. Some phones also allow you to manually choose from a variety of available ringtones. Note: Most Android phones identify sound effects files as ringtones even when they come from the MP3 file format, while iPhones require the file to have the proper M4R file format.

    - Auto Dialing. Most modern smartphones have the ability to conduct multiple simultaneous calls, and this feature can be utilized to automatically dial a contact's number. To do this, you simply press and hold the "Home" button, then touch the icon for" Dial-Up" on the screen.

    - Customized User Ringtones. Several companies today provide a wide range of customizable ringtones, such as ones that can be mixed and matched with incoming texts and emails. You can also opt to assign different ringtones to different contacts, so that you can easily send different alerts to different parties and organizations.

For individuals who are planning to download ringtones to their iphone, you might want to look for sites that offer free ringtone downloads. Free ringtones are often downloadable only for a trial period, so that you can give the software a try before purchasing. To do this, search for ringtones download companies in your area using your favorite search engine. If you are a frequent user of the internet, you can easily find online sites that offer free downloads. There are also sites that offer free ringtone downloads, so you should not have a hard time finding them.

Zedge is another excellent free ringtone maker, as it provides an easy way to make custom tones for your phone. To download your first Zedge ringtone, register at Zedge and create your first ringtone after downloading the free software. After creating your first ringtone, you can test it out on any compatible mobile device. To learn more about Zedge and other ringtone apps, visit my blog by clicking on the link below.

    Hello,

I just received a new Mac mini. I have hooked up the Behringer via USB and the speakers are working but they are much quieter than they were when the interface was attached to my Asus laptop.  I have gone into the sound settings and adjusted the volume there but they are still much quieter.

Has anyone else experienced this?  My operating system is Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.

I am not sure I have chosen the right Category and subcategory but there doesn't seem to be options to suit.

RobbyWingfield Hi Waban07, Robby with Music Tribe here. There shouldn't be a volume difference from Pc to Mac. Most likely there is a volume turned down on your computer somewhere. Please make sure you have checked all the different volume controls on your computer and in your OS and that you have you speakers plugged directly into your interface with sufficient volume applied.

If you're still having trouble, please take a video of the issue and submit it with a support case at the link above and we can assist you further, thanks!

Hello, sorry for the slow response. I was having trouble replying via my phone but I am here now. The problem seemed to be solved by unplugging the interface from the power and powering it through the computer. This hasn't been an issue in the past. Is it always best to power it through the computer? Again, I am not sure why powering it directly through the power wasn't an issue in the past. Thank you for your time. Kind regards Wendy

We have almost a dozen Clarity M throughout our post-production facility and just recently upgraded some rooms to the new MacPro running OS 11 (Big Sur).  We've noticed when we arrive in the morning to begin working that the Clarity doesn't respond when ProTools is open. We need to disconnect/reconnect the USB cable to re-establish the connection.

Because the MacPro only has two USB ports and we have multiple devices in each room, we are using a powered high-speed USB hub for connections.  We have moved the Clarity to a direct connection on the Mac in one of the rooms to see if this makes a difference.

Has anyone else seen this happen?  I have submitted a suppoirt ticket to TC and will update this post as I hear from them.

ericseaberg It seems to be the newer USB hubs we purchased. Reverting back to an older Belkin I had used before, everything works great. The other rooms are connecting the Clarity directly to a Mac port.
