Hi , this is Ali From istanbul. I have maranz 2600 and garrad 401 turntable , which tonnoy series and models will be suitable for them, i will play old vinly. thank you
i plan to buy 2 Tannoy Prestige Stirling GR Gold Reference , is it suitable for maranz 2600 or which model do you recomended to me. ı need 2 Tannoy speakers.
I have an open circuit on the voice coil of a Tannoy Cheviot 12inch dual concentric speaker. You can only hear the centre horn.
I have checked the other speaker and it shows 5.8ohms across the main driver coil.
Is a recone kit still available for this product which I understand has the coil as an integral part of the cone?
Kind regards
David Phillips
Thank you.
Hi, any idea where I can buy a replacement tweeter for E11 HiFi speaker? I've submitted a ticket to spares, wondering if any known suppliers out there?
Dear Sir I want to Import your products in Bangldesh Market
Does anyone know where to buy a tweeter replacement for a Tannoy 609?
Which Tannoy models use ICT technology? What is the difference between the different models? Can I use three of them as my front left, center, and right speakers in my surround sound system?
I have a pair of PBM8s and blew a woofer. Any suggestions on repair/replacement?
Update: I submitted a spare parts request ticket and have a case number, but have not yet received a response.
30 Dec Update: Parts said they couldn't help. Does anyone have any leads or suggestions? These are great speakers and I'd hate to give them up.
I was left two Tannoy speakers (LSU/HF/IIILZG/8U) by my father, and would like to know who the original owner was. He may have acquired these from Abbey Road studio when they upgraded in 1973-4 (his company was a supplier of theirs), but can this be proven? They have serial numbers attached.
Dear sir,
We regret to inform you that the delivery of materials in India too bad after order it takes more than 6-8 month also no one is supporting properly. We are executing government projects like convention centre, auditorium and many more but we are so much upset with your delivery and service here.
I play digital piano at home ( just cocktail piano- no singing). I have an excellent and very critical ear for music. I play high quality sampled or modelled pianos. My setup at home gives me the perfect sound I need into my Bose headphones. I also play organ, and need some speakers which can reproduce the organ pedal frequency ( down to about 40 hertz). I would like a pair of speakers to hear the Rotary speaker effect of the organ Leslie simulator.
Task: I want to play some occasional gigs in pubs/ coffee bars ( maybe only 6 per year). Instead of buying a set of speakers for home and a small P.A. Setup for small gig work, I am considering using Tannoy Reveal 802 Monitors for both jobs to get value for money.
The case For: Reveal 802 have 100w power each, and for background piano, I think about 30watts should be fine. So they would not be stressed at all. They have excellent reviews for good bass response without a sub, so should give a rich sound for piano lower keys or organ pedals.
So has anybody else tried this?
