can you duplicate boards on the plethorax5, if so how?
hi, I need help. I happen to have a 2 x4 flashback, and I control it with a midi clock pedal. but a few days ago I noticed that the synchronization of these was not correct, I thought there was some problem with the midi, but after doing tests, I realized that what happens is that the flashback does not accept the orders of the midi clock lower than those 76 bpm, as long as I use it with 76 bpm or more, everything synchronizes perfectly, without the tempo failing, but if I want to lower the tempo from 75 bpm, the pedal doubles the speed, that is, it makes me a subdivision of the tempo in eighth notes, regardless of the subdivision that I have in the pedal, and although this subdivision of the tempo in eighth notes (that is, at twice the time that I put lower than 75 bpm) does not affect the subdivision of the pedal, it does not It allows me to work correctly in some tempos, and I have to adjust the subdivisions until I find something that I hope it sounds like. I am sure that it is not the midi clock pedal, because this also happens with the tap tempo button of the flashback 2 x4, so I suppose it must be some firmware error or something like that. I did a test connecting it to the computer with the toneprint app, and there if, moving the tempo, I managed to get the pedal to recognize the 50 bpm that I sent in the midi clock pedal signal, but as soon as I disconnected it from the computer, the problem returns (I made the connection to the computer via USB)
Hi folks,
I have my Ditto x4 hooked up to my SingularSound Beatbuddy. The midi syncs great, meaning my looped riffs stay perfectly in time with the Beatbuddy drums. Last week I was playing a solo over a riff I'd looped and I'm absolutely convinced as I increased the beats per minute on the beatbuddy, my Ditto matched the new drum tempo and increasing the speed of the riff accordingly. I had to move my kit over the weekend and hooked everything up the same as last week, but for some reason the Ditto doesn't stay in time with the Beatbuddy now when I increase the beats per minute. The flashing light on my Ditto does increase with the increased bmp, so I know midi is working and the Beatbuddy is talking to the Ditto, but I cant get the looped riffs to increase in tempo to match.
My question is - did I imagine it all last week?! Should the Ditto loop tempo increase to stay in time when the Beatbuddy BMP is increased or decreased? Since the Beatbuddy is telling the Ditto what to do through Midi I kind of feel it should.
Thanks in advance!
Neal
Hi there!
I have a Plethora X5 incoming and have a couple of questions....
1) in true bypass mode is the insert loop still active?
2) in buffered bypass does the signal go through AD/DA converters?
3) Are the cab sims on if all effect slots are off (buffered bypass)?
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
How do I move my boards around?
I Toneprint I can only move the first 11 boards around (those i can see on the screen). The rest of them I can't move.
Best regards,
Peter
erHi,
I hope you can explain to me why all my user made boards are gone.
I haven't been using the diffrent boards that I have made for a while.
Then today when I would go throgh all my boards 90% of the boards are gone and have been replased with other boards that are named User Board but these are far from identical to the boards that i have created for a coulple of month ago.
What is reason to this has happend?
Best regards,
Peter
Hi!
I would like to run a wet/dry setup but am on a budget (and lack of space on my pedalboard, like everyone!)
As the FB2 is analog dry-through, is there a way to use it as a wet-dry splitter? Instead of having both left and right stereo outputs, I'd like to have one output dry only and the other wet only.
Is that possible?
Thanks!
Three features requests I would like to log:
1. Tap Tempo
External tap tempo using a footswitch. I would be fine using the expression pedal input to support this, or maybe the stereo input jack (like the feature on the standalone Flashback 2 you added previously). It would be good if this external tap tempo would control all pedals on the current board that support tempo (so all of them synched to the same tempo you tapped in). I know you have support for using the MASH button as tap tempo, but then I lose the MASH feature which is a huge loss.
2. Configure Pedal Display
It would be good if we could have a few options for the pedal display. Right now it shows:
For my typical use pattern, it would be more helpful to know the toneprint name and author in larger font so it is more readable when playing (so I know what it is currently set to when I switch boards). The effect name and type are kind of implied by the colour, so it feels kind of a waste of that display real estate.
I don't know the best way to expose this in the UI, but even having a few options where you could choose between what info is large and what is small would be nice.
3. Linking Pedal Across Boards
I realize this might be a large change to the underlying data model in the firmware, and it might be confusing for some users, but it would be totally perfect for my use case (and potentially others).
I'd like the abililty to link pedals across boards. For example, if I had two boards, then in slot 5 of both pedals, I could have the same Reverb instance. Right now, I can put a Reverb in both boards in slot 5, but they are not linked. So if I change the toneprint on one and then switch boards, that change is not linked and that board's Reverb has its original tone print. Same with pedal on/off...if I turn the reverb on/off on one board, when I switch to the other board, it will retain its previous setting on that board.
Like I said, this is probably by design, as each board is considered an indepenant "scene", but the way I use it is to always have the last two pedals in all my boards be my Delay and Reverb, and then switch boards to change up the other pedals. So it would be nice to have them linked so when I'm playing, any changes to those Delay or Reverb pedals gets applied no matter what board I have selected.
Again, how do you design a UI to do this...that might be tricky. But it would be a very cool advanced feature to add!
Keep up the good work, this is a great product!
Can anyone help
My TC electronic X4 looper is showing all orange lights.
I fear its a software issue
Can anyone send me a copy of the software, or suggest somewhere i could get it?
Hi everyone! I don't know if here is the right place to put this, but could someone confirm me if the MINI VERSION of the hypergravity compressor has the option to choose between true bypass or buferred. Thanks
