I plug it in and press the power button and nothing happens. The screen doesn't light up, nothing.

      DavidKnighton Hello Innoceny,
Double check you're using the correct power cable that was supplied with your unit. Beyond that, sounds like your device may need service. Click the SUPPORT tab at the top of the page, scroll to the bottom and click SERVICE REQUEST to initiate a ticket.

Hi, I just bought the talk box synth, and it really does what I wanted for.
as a newbie, I want to know what the voice support can do in that particular pedal.
Thank you, and greeting from Colombia.

WilliamR Hello, William from musictribe here. You would use voice support to install firmware updates as needed. There aren't any editing features with this particular pedal in voice support.

I have an older acoustic guitar with no pick up. Can I still use the Harmony Singer say with a microphone in front of 5he guitar and one to sing into?

PedroRodrigues Hi giallaccio please confirm if the unit in Talk mode? If the HIT LED is flashing, tap it once to return to normal mode.
If it its not in that case I would suggest performing a factory reset, for that when powering up the unit, press and hold “Back” and “Store”. *Any changes you have made to presets or setup information will be erased. Back up your custom presets and setup data via VoiceSupport2 .

Gievn that Singthing and VoiceSolo150FX both have coaxial 6.5 inch coaxial Tannoy speakers and 150 watt poweramps, do they both have the same max power / volume (spl) and frequency response?

    • geobluesguy
PedroRodrigues Hi geobluesguy that is correct, both units have a Full range 6.5" TANNOY 2-way coaxial ICT Driver Amplifier 150W Class-D with 150W Smart Power compensation therefore both units have the same outputs characteristics. Thank you

I use a Variax Guitar with my VL2 and I want to try something but I am not sure if it will work.

I want the Acoustic Models to go through the VL2 directly to the PA using the VL2 onboard effects.

But, I want the electric models of the guitar to go out the "guitar through" jack to a pedalboard and an external amp.

    My question is:

Does the VL2 Guitar Through jack use a TRS connection, connecting the ring and sleeve, to tell the VL2 that
a guitar is connected and that is what makes the guitar signal go out to an external amp?

Would it be possible to use a switch to connect/disconnect the ring/sleeve to control this?

I thinking that a footswitch that does this would allow me to switch how the VL2 directs the guitar signal.

Would trying this cause potential damage to the electronics of the VL2?

    Thank You for your responses!!

PedroRodrigues Hi dgnyberg as I'm sure you understand we do not advise or endorse any kind of intervention or modification performed by the user on any unit. Never the less I will leave below the full routing for your VL2 so you are fully aware of your options. I hope this helps Thank you

      • VoiceLive 2 Guitar through connection question
dgnyberg I'm not looking to modify the unit. I was just wondering if the Guitar Thru connection is a TRS jack and if it is, could a footswitch be used to make or break the ring/sleeve connection on a cable to make the VL2 "think" there is no guitar connected to the Guitar Thru jack. That might, in essence, send the signal to either the internal effects and the main PA with the vocals OR to an external pedalboard and amp. Thus, no modification to the VL2 would be done.

ChrisEdwards1 Hi GrigoreCojokaru, would it be possible to provide some additional information on your setup? For example, if you are using a PC or MAC and what operating system they are?

Are you using a USB hub? If so could you please directly plug it into your laptop.
Are you using USB 2.0 or 3.0?
If any other applications are open could you please try closing these?
Is the unit showing in Device Manager but not the Voicesupport software?

Hello, Newbie to this product and site. Before all of you experienced professionals roll your eyes at lack of knowledge. ? Could someone please point me in the right direction? I watch the 3 part youtube video but they mostly go over what the product does not really how to find specific effects or how to select them. I'm looking to...

    1) set up the unit in a quick simple way, just myself as the singer with a bit of pitch control (not alot of it) and set my personal effects like reverb for example. Also set up the chorus with maybe 2 or 3 backup vocals. Then store this setting for everytime I turn it on.

    2) receive any tips or suggestions to download the firmware for specific songs and or singers. Should I do this on my laptop or is it possible to download a "Music tribe app"  that will hold this specific information?

On the unit itself I'm a bit confused as far as the what button I use to select. Like I said.. I'm really sorry for my lack of knowledge with this. If anyone could help I would be so greatful. ?

PetGerbil Hello.! Don't worry, no-one likes the rolling eye professionals anyway. :)

Firstly I haven't got a Voicelive play, I've got a different model. So I won't be much help, but. The Manual can be downloaded from..
      https://www.tc-helicon.com/downloads.html

It's a bit of a faff to find it, but if you scroll down the "Products" section, it's there. There's also a quick-start manual there as well.

There is also software called "Voice Support 2" Which you should be able to find by scrolling further down the "Products" section. This can be used to back up presets. (I think on a VL play) and update firmware.

Anymore than that will require someone with more knowledge than I. :)

But what I would do is go through the presets (with the control knob...I think.) and find one that is close to what you want, Then tweak that and store it. That way you don't have to start from scratch.

I have a new Voicetone C-1 that I've used about 5 times. When I plug the unit in for power, my input level LED does not light up and I am not getting any sound through the unit. Any idea as to what may be happening. If I need to send it in for a repair, then where do I send and how, etc.  Thx   M1977

ChrisEdwards1 Hi M1977, would it be possible to provide some more information on the microphone being used with the pedal, is this a condenser, dynamic, or one with the Mic Control function?

Have you swapped out all cables and tried a different power source?
If you are using a Mic with the Mic Control function please ensure the Guitar GND LIFT switch on the left side of the product is not engaged
