I use Play Acoustic extensively and a huge fan. I have one issue I can't seem to fix, namely I get a popping or crackling sound when I whistle. It is not air noise, I've tested that and I get it when listening to the headphone out on the Play Acoustic itself so it is not somewhere else in the signal chain. It almost sounds like some kind of signal clipping but it happens at all gain settings. This is an amazing unit and perhaps this is simply a type of sound it cannot process. Any suggestions are appreciated. I have tried everything I can think of. BTW, it doesn't seem to be an effect generated problem as it is present in a dry signal.

kiskadar69 There were such problems with the original Mic Mechanic and Harmony Singer 2, and TC-Helicon tried to solve the problem with a new firmware version. Is your Play Acoustic running the latest firmware version? If so, there's only one workaround I can think of: set up a second microphone for whistling that's not connected to the Play Acoustic.

kiskadar69 Workaround number two: if you only want to use one microphone, plug your microphone into a microphone selector switch. The first output of the microphone selector switch should be connected to Play Acoustic, the second output of the microphone selector switch should be connected elsewhere.

Hi, so i recently purchased a GoXLR mini and so far so good except one really strrange thing.

In OBS and the windows audio objects in general the sliders and mute do not affect the sound volume.  They work fine for line out and headphone though.

For example the System slider is mapped to one input in OBS however when i mute system on the GoXLR it only mutes for the speakers (line out) and headphones not the System device on the audio control pannel in windows or the OBS channel that is mapped to that device.

Has anyone seen this?  I have compared settings with a friend with the same device and he does not get the same result (we have the same settings as far as we can tell from our discussions).

I know that the ambient mics can be utilized to determine the key of a song for harmonies.  Can the ambient mics also be utilized for the autotune/hardtune feature to automatically shift the vocal towards the correct and specific key (as opposed to just nudging towards the closest correct pitch like the mic mechanic would do)?

    Thanks!

Long recording times need power to the iOS device. Is there an option to power the device and use the Go Twin? The (camera) adapter from Apple with lightning and USB connectors does not fire up the Go Twin. Directly from the USB to lightning is working fine but the iOS device has no external power source. What to do?

    Hi,

We are thinking of purchasing the Harmony v60 amp and wondering if the harmony effect will work for us if we plug our TV audio out into the guitar channel on the Harmony v60 amp. We were watching one of the YouTube videos on reviewing the harmony V 100 and it said that if you want to use the harmony feature on the microphone channel without using the guitar channel it's not going to sound as good. I guess the idea here is that the harmony a fact relies on what Khiva guitar is in.

So my question is: has anyone played in an audio feed into the guitar channel (because TC helicon also makes a vocal processor "Preform-V" that bases it's harmony effect off the audio inputed track and we are wondering if the technology in the harmony V60/V100 is the same so we can do karaoke with it as well.

    Thanks

    Stu

ChrisEdwards1 Hi StuWebster, as with the PERFORM V and Voicelive range the Harmony V60/100 can also detect chord information via the Aux input. It will always priorities the guitar input over Aux, however, in this instance when no guitar is being used and you are using backing tracks it is recommended to utilize the Aux input.

I just bought a go xlr and have since noticed that i have to use the built in headphone jack to be able to listen to it

i was looking for the specifications of the build in DAC so I can compare it to my schitt DAC I already own

also wondering there is any way to allow / support multiple headphone outputs

i commonly switch between my headphones when streaming on pc and my oculus when streaming VR

And final question is I have a stereo mic and was wondering if there is any way to support this feature

PedroRodrigues Hi Chewychunga, thank you for your post, the only information available to end user is the one present on the product page as we do not provide any other specs. Unfortunately the unit will not allow you to have two different signals on the Headphones output. When it comes to the Mic input the GOXLR, the unit only supports a mono input. Thank you
