I have the Mini setup with my microphone. I want to want to redirect the Music, Chat, and System outputs to system default. I understand the intent for the device is for all these things to plug into it directly, but that's not desirable for me. I have studio headphones and a high quality sound card to match that's already configured/tweaked. Similarly, I don't want to run additional line out/line in cables. Since these are devices already registered and, presumably, working in Windows, I should be able to simply redirect them. However, applications like Voicemeeter operate with an input first approach and I need to start with outputs. I'm not an audio engineer or driver designer so I'm not aware of the secret sauce to get that to work. Alternatively, I don't see in the GoXLR app how to reassign these channels natively. In short, I want the XLR Mini to simply be an EQ slider but still take advantage of my existing hardware and setup.

I don't think I'm the first/only person with this problem. How have others solved it?

    Thanks.

The Voicelive Play does not react at all to the MCA 100.  I have set up the VP for the correct mic type and have verified with a multimeter that the XLR cable is fine and the 48 V phantom power is present (the button lights up.).  I have also downloaded and installed the latest firmware for the VP.  I have tried with all of the modes: Hit; Hit/Talk and preset up; nothing works.  Is there something else to try, or is the MCA 100 just defective?

NicJonesMT Hi JshangSt. Please click support at the top of the page and submit a technical support ticket.
We need you to provide a detailed description of your full setup and exactly what is happening.

kiskadar69 Tip 1: set SETUP / "Mic Type" to "MP-75 MIC".
Tip 2: set the SETUP / "Mic Control" parameter.
Tip 3: the MCA100 is not compatible with condenser microphones but can be used with any dynamic microphone.
Tip 4: you need to connect the MCA100 and VoiceLive Play with a standard 3-wire microphone cable (2 wires is not enough and you can't put a wireless microphone system between them).
Tip 5: restart the VoiceLive Play AFTER you connect the MCA100 +microphone.
Tip 6: if you are not using an original power supply for VoceLive Play, try an original power supply. The processors can happily deal with a less than optimal power supply. However, the external switching is based on precise voltage sensing across what would normally be the phantom power circuit. The problem being that sub-optimal power supplies have different voltage drop characteristics during high current draw.

Thanks; I have checked all of these things. The mics I have tried are SM57 and SM58; cables are all tested. Is it possible to diagnose what is going on by removing the mic and measuring the signals on the exposed pins? (I am an experimental physicist and have access to any kind of test equipment you can imagine.)

kiskadar69 "Is it possible to diagnose what is going on by removing the mic and measuring the signals on the exposed pins?": even if this is possible, TC-Helicon will never tell us the procedure
Tip 7: do not connect the MCA100 directly to the microphone. Use a short microphone cable.

Where do/how do I connect acoustic guitar to VoiceLive Play?

    0 9
    • Paol
ChrisEdwards1 Hi Paol, The Voicelive Play is not designed for use with an electric or acoustic guitar and only has a Microphone input. If you wish to use a guitar within your setup the Play Acoustic or Play Electric are the best options as they both have dedicated guitar inputs.

    • Paol
kiskadar69 The blue VoiceLive Play has no guitar input. If you want to control the harmony processor with guitar, there is a workaround:
Step 1: Split the guitar's dry signal with an active splitter.
Step 2: Connect the first output of the splitter to the "AUX" input of the VoiceLive Play.
Step 3: In order to prevent the guitar sound from appearing on the XLR output of the VoiceLive Play, set the "Setup" / "Input" / "Aux In Type" parameter of the VoiceLive Play to "LIVE".
Step 4: Use the second output of the splitter as you used to use the guitar output.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the response. I wasn't aware that TC Helicon offered a VoiceLive Play Acoustic until after I got the VoiceLive Play. Still like the unit. That said, I'll give the connection a try. Thanks again! Paol

    Hi,

My Voiceplay3 just powers up to a white screen, factory restet thru the headphone jack changes nothing. I've spent the afternoon trying to load voicesupport to my Mac but can't connect to a real TC Helicon download site and don't trust non genuine download sites.

I suspect my firmware has become corrupted.

If i cannot get the maintaince screen, is it still possible to reload the firmware thru the usb port?

Any other solutions or suggestions would be welcome

    Thanks

PedroRodrigues Hi Makoprowski, thank you for your post, first you must confirm that you have edit the Reverb on the Global Preset, by default is Preset no.491. Then go to each Preset where you would like to use the same Reverb, go to Reverb settings and change the Global parameter to On, allowing you to use the Reverb settings from the Global Preset on the chosen Preset.

Please Tap the Reverb footswitch to turns the Reverb effect ON or OFF to confirm that the configuration was successful.

This effect can be configured and used separately for the Vocal and Guitar layer.

It is vital to check the Vocal and the Guitar Reverb effect block/tab.
Each of the Vocal and Guitar Reverb effect blocks offers a big number of parameters that allow you to adjust this effect.

It is also important to confirm how have you set up the Reverb on the Effects Mix to adjust the overall sound of your presets. The Voc Reverb will control the overall level of the Vocal Reverb effect across your presets while the Guitar Reverb will perform the same function as Voc Reverb for the Guitar Reverb in all your Presets.

Please follow the link below to access a video guide that will help you on this matter:

    Hello Music Tribe,

I am the proud owner of a play acoustic and a VL3X both of which have been awesome.  I can say with certainty that they have shifted the way I approach live music. I have put thousands of hours and hundreds of gigs on each unit.  Now after roughly 5 years I am having issues with both of them.

Play Acoustic-Scroll knob is broken, AC adapter port is wiggley, occasionally glitches out

VL3X-Large Scrool Wheel broken, Machine glithes out especially when I use the looper function (I have replaced the AC adapter per advice given to me from a rep and it definitely helped for a while but the problems came back)

I have already spoken to PanurgyOEM in New York, my closest service center, just wanted to make sure im doing the right thing before I shell out $65 per unit to diagnose.  My goal is to get them both back to perfect working order so I can continue to use them.  Hoping the repairs dont cost more than a brand new unit.

WilliamR Unfortunately, We are unable to diagnose or give a quote on what it would cost to fix hardware issues. Panurgy would have to give you a diagnosis and a quote for this.

Do I need to install any software in order to connect my V60 to my 5th Gen iPad?

    0 6
    • StratLover58
ChrisEdwards1 Hi StratLover58, the Harmony V60 is a USB Class compliant device and does not require drivers for Mac/iPad, however we, unfortunately, cannot confirm compatibility with iPads.

Please see below for details on the officially supported operating systems:
      Windows 7 or higher
Mac OS X 10.6.8 or higher

Hallo from Germany, I would like to use the Perform VK as an Audiointerface with Cubasis. But there in no Input-Signal. Is there a problem with IOS 15? Is there a Firmware update available? Thank you for help

    0 6
    • Klaus4711
PedroRodrigues Hi Klaus4711, please ponder that the Perform VK was designed to be implemented with a PC/MAC and not with an IPAD. To implement your Perform VK with a computer you must follow audio configuration described below.
Regarding USB audio please be aware that there are 4 inputs and 8 output channels for USB audio in PERFORM-VK.
A driver is required for both USB audio AND MIDI use, it can be found at
      https://www.tc-helicon.com/tchelicon/product?modelCode=P0DEE

      USB IN
      CH 1 Backing Track L
      CH 2 Backing Track R
      CH 3 Dry vocal in
      CH 4 NaturalPlay IN

If no signal is transmitted to the product on USB audio channel 3, the product will use analogue in for the voice input.
So, you could use channels 1&2 to input stereo tracks from your DAW but sing into the product via your mic.
Please note that channel 1&2 input is NOT passed to the USB outputs, but IS passed to the Main analogue outs.
If you use a computer for backing tracks, they will get sent analogue to the PA. Volume control for those tracks happens at the computer.
NaturalPlay IN is not connected to the audio output. It is used only for NaturalPlay chord input.
This is intended to allow you to use a “guide track” for NatualPlay that you may not want heard in the mix. It could be dry guitar chords or piano chords, with different voicings or placement to create your desired harmony output.

      USB OUT
CH 1 L processed vocal, Keyboard/ Aux in (same as what is on main outputs, less the audio received on USB in
CH 2 R processed vocal, Keyboard/ Aux in (same as what is on main outputs, less the audio received on USB in 2
      CH 3 Dry Voice input
      CH 4 Not used
      CH 5 Dry INST IN R / Aux L
      CH 6 Dry INST IN R / Aux R
      CH 7 Harmony Voices L
      CH 8 Harmony Voices R

      Thank you
