    Hi folks,

Just wondering if there is a diagram/description of the Play Acoustic guitar effects options order - signal path from guitar 'in' to guitar 'out'. Given that we can 'stack' body res / compression, umod, reverb, delay choices etc on an individual custom preset... are these in any particular set order... say as they would be if they were actual individual effects pedals on a pedal board? Can the 'order' be changed?

(Now for the '+Plus pedals' bit) Reason I'm curious is I've had great success over the past few years on 'doubling' my Play Acoustic usage extending it to an electric guitar (Gretsch Streamliner)

Input levels need to be adjusted... but the mighty Play Acoustic works just fine on the electric. I've recently added an TC Mojo Mojo overdrive pedal and a mini Wah pedal to my signal chain just for fun. And I'm working out the best order (placement) for these pedals with the Play Acoustic. So far going Guitar - Wah - Overdrive - Play Acoustic (all or some of the effect options stacked in the PA depending on my custom preset choices.) Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts, ideas, or experience in the best options for this. (NOTE: considerations need to include using on board PA looper, tuner, Vocal Harmonies)

    Cheers Mark

    Good Afternoon,

I've had my GoXLR Mini for about 2 years now and had no issues. Although about a week ago, I've had a constant static noise in my ears after I updated the software. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, changed XLR cords, tested another mic, etc. The only way I remove the static noise is when I unplug the GoXLR from my PC.

Is there any way to fix that issue? I don't want to buy a whole new goXLR.

    Thanks!

PedroRodrigues Hi CobraConcept, thnak you for your post, I would first suggest to update the BIOS on your Computer and the USB DRIVERS on your Motherboard . When this process is concluded I would shift my attention to the GOXLR set up process and confirm that you have configured the unit as stated on the manual using he latest GOXLR and Driver version. For the GOXLR APP please follow the link below: https://www.tc-helicon.com/product.html?modelCode=P0CQK For the GOXLR DRIVER please follow the link below: https://wsi.li/dl/4oWRj9J4Fi3AmsEAc/ It is also vital to take under account that you must use a 1 x 1/8" TRS, stereo to connect your headphones. For last please bear in mind that your headphone loudness is independent from your Sampler loudness and your Stream loudness. What that means is that you could be really quiet in your headphones, and peaking on stream; or conversely, perfect on stream but your headphones are too loud. This is all resolved by following these simple steps:
      1. Set your gain: Your gain should be so that you are peaking in "Good" and your normal voice is on the lower end of good - depending on how dynamic of a speaker you are. More monotone speakers can set their gain higher while more dynamic speakers may need to set their gain lower. Just make sure that your loudest voice you would use streaming is at the higher end of good.
      2. Set your microphone volume to 100% THIS IS IMPORTANT GOXLR is designed to where your microphone is at 100% at all points unless you need to "duck" it, mute it, or otherwise.
      3. Check your absolute loudness value in OBS Open OBS and set your Mic/Aux Device to "Broadcast Stream Mix" and start talking. You should peak at around -10 to -5dB. If you are above that, lower your gain. If you are below that, raise your gain. If you can't raise your gain without peaking, go to the Compressor and add some gain via the "Makeup Gain" function.
      4. Set your headphones level No matter what % your headphone volume is at, it will not affect your stream volume. If after steps 1-3 your headphone volume is REALLY loud, lower your overall headphone volume so that your voice is the loudest you would want anything in your headset. I hope this helps. If you follow the guidance above and you still face any issues please follow the link below and submit an assistance request directly with our Tech Support Team by following the link below: https://community.musictribe.com/pages/create-new-ticket?type=Technical%20Support&brand=TCHelicon Thank you

    Hi there!

I tried to install the voice support app on my Mac M1 & on a win 10 computer and each had the same errors.

I have a TC-Helicon play acoustic that I like to handle & update if possible.

I read about that issue in 2018's thread of this forum and in some reply becomes fixed, but now is present again.

Please, does anybody have fresh information about that issue? How can I update & set up my play acoustic now?

    Thanks in advance!

PedroRodrigues Hi dumi, thank you for your post you must use the Aux In Jack on your VOICELIVE TOUCH. This is where audio from an external stereo device such as an MP3 player inputs into the main mix. Please bear in mind that no effects are applied to this input.
When it comes to presets on your unit please consider that the VoiceLive Touch contains over 200 factory presets, effectively you can store any of these presets to a favourite including any edits you've done on that preset.

It is important to follow the guidance described below to assure that your presets are correctly saved.

When it comes to Loading a Favourite, you must tap any Favourite button to load the effect assigned to it.
There are 25 Favourites contained in banks labelled A through E.
To access the banks, hold the Slider and immediately tap one of the 5 Favourites buttons.
The factory-programmed Favourite banks are organized as follows:

      Bank A - Showcase/variety
Bank B - Harmony and Doubling effects
Bank C - Effects useful for making interesting loops
      Bank D - Transducer effects
      Bank E - Extreme sounds

When it comes to load a Preset, please Slide along the Slider or use the Arrow buttons to scroll up or down presets by ones.
Swipe the Slider to scroll through a large range of presets quickly and tap to stop.
The Flashing Favourite LED lets you know something about that Favourite has changed.
Either it has been edited or the preset has been changed. If you don’t want to store the changes, choose any other preset or Favourite.
To save a preset to a Favourite you must:
      1. Load a preset you want to store as a Favourite.
      2. Press and hold the desired Favourite location to store
      2. (Optional) Choose the desired Favourite bank by holding the Slider and immediately tapping one of the five Favourite buttons.

For last when it comes to displaying preset names, as long as you are not in an editing menu, you can scroll the current preset or Favourite’s name by tapping the Slider once.
For more detailed information on your VOICELIVE TOUCH please follow the link below to acess the full manual for this unit:

      I hope this helps

Complaints about Harmony Singer 2 stability are all over the internet (suddden distortion that requires a restart). Does anyone know if TC has resolved this issue? I'd like a box I can rely on for a 3-4hr outdoor Gig on a hot day. My VT Harmony-G XT overheats at about 75 Deg. F. and I'm looking for a reliable standby.

kiskadar69 "VT Harmony GTX": do you mean "TC-Helicon VoiceTone Harmony-G XT" ?

"I would definitely get some additional shade and purchase a small electric oscillating fan to sit on the floor and cool your feet and gear. The problem is not the temperature of the air, it's the radiant heat baking the chips. The fact that there isn't enough airflow (convention) across the unit to dissipate the extra heat probably causes the glitches. You can also consider getting the unit off the ground to get some air under it too." (martingitdave ,2017)

      • Harmony Singer 2 Stability?
tguarriello Yes - Harmony-G XT. Man, I'd hate to think that 75 Deg F. is "chip baking" territory. I've tried a fan and it helps when the device is right on the edge, but anything over 80 is a guaranteed failure - fan or no. I've got a Plethora X5 mounted right next to it and never have a problem with it - or any of the 6 other digital pedals on the board. Anyway - thanks for trying to help. My question about the Harmony Singer 2 still stands...

    Hello!

Does anyone know how I can get hold of the Perform VK (vocal/keyboard harmony processor)... I can't find it in stock ANYWHERE online! I'm in the UK. I bought one a couple years ago from THOMANN Europe. But I need a new one.

When will they be back in stock?

Why are my acoustic/electric guitar loops softer in volume than my acoustic/electric guitar volume playing thru the Voicelive3? Is there a setting I'm missing?

PedroRodrigues Hi fsfs, thank you for your post, I would first suggest to check how you have set up the Loop Mixer, this will allow you to adjust the mix between your imported loop and your live vocals/guitar. It may also be useful to check all the tools available on your VOICELIVE 3 for the Loop, for this please follow the link below to access the reference manual for your unit, please check page 113 and forward. https://www.tc-helicon.com/tchelicon/product?modelCode=P0CDY I hope this helps. Thank you
