How do I go about getting a replacement pedal?

    0 3
    • MattyNyborg
Rex Beckett If you purchased the pedal within the last 30 days, you should contact your supplier. Otherwise you should open a Care ticket. At the top of this page, click Support -> Care -> Create a Care Ticket and select Type: Service Request. Make sure that you enter all required (*) data before clicking Submit. The Care team will respond by email.

I have been looking at these units on and off for the last year or more, never could quite pull the trigger and order one... Started looking at the Play Acoustic / Electric, but really wanted MIDI input for chord detection so was looking at the VoiceLive 3 but the price put me off as I only do it as a hobby or free events. Well, I saw the refurbished units being listed and pulled the trigger, but didn't quite realize that they are now a discontinued product? So does that mean it will get no more love, support, updates? I especially worry about the software, which seems to have not been updated for a long time, and compatibility with future macOS versions like the upcoming Big Sur macOS 11.

Steve Palm Also, is there a changelog of firmware updates, past/present even if there is no future?

      Nic Jones Hi Steve.
Sorry for the delay in contacting you.
One of my Colleagues just checked and the VL3 is not discontinued. Can you confirm where you got this information from?

with Patch/Release notes, I don't have access to a VL3 at the moment (as were working remotely) but if I remember rightly, when you connect to Voicesupport 2 to perform the Update, you can actually view the patch notes through here.

Steve Palm The big concern was related specifically to the support of the VoiceSupport 2 software. If the product line were discontinued, the software likely wouldn't be updated, and with Apple especially, the changes in upcoming OS versions would probably render it unusable. In my search for purchasing one, I saw several YouTube videos where they said the VoiceLive 3 was discontinued, only the VoiceLive 3 Extreme was available now, and the product listing from where I purchased it said "DISCONTINUED". Also, looking at a number of online stores, only the Extreme is available now. That is what had me concerned about support for the basic "VoiceLive 3" (not Extreme) unit.

      • VoiceLive 3 dead as far as development/fixes/etc?
Nic Jones Hi Steve. Again on our system the Voicelive 3 is still an available product.
        Please contact one of our Official resellers and they will be able to advise you further on pricing and availability;

I have updated the firmware and also done a full reset to the device but the issue appears from time to time (randon) and to put everything ok I have to power off and on the pedal .

    Many thanks for the support

Pedro Rodrigues Hi Luis I would suggest to performed the following:
When powering up the unit, press and hold “Back” and “Store”.
Any changes you have made to presets or setup information will be erased, please back up your custom presets and setup data via VoiceSupport.
If you still have the same issue please submit and assistance request by following the link below:

Instead of using a guitar for the source, can I use an output of the PA board, e.g Cue a guitar/keys channel on a PA output and connect that to the G-XT unit?.

    • dochereford
Joe Rivers Hi docereford, the guitar input will accept any INST level input via 1/4" jack. Although you will get more effective harmonies using a guitar, providing the chords and progressions are clear enough you should be able to generate harmonies in this way.
      • Aug 14
      • Voicetone Harmony G-XT using board feed for chord sample
dochereford Does it matter which I use guitar in or guitar thru. I read somewhere where the thru input will bypass effects or some such.

    • dochereford
kiskadar69 1.Guitar Thru (Inst Thru) is not an input but an output.
2.If you run audio from your keyboard through a Harmony-G XT, it'll work just fine. You'd get the best results if you only send left hand chord stuff and also have chorus/reverb off on the keyboard output.

Which pedal should go first in a chain, C1 Correction pedal or Harmony Singer 2?

    Need an answer ASAP

    Thanks;

    • Fred Erben
Kyle Johnson Hi Fred, Kyle with Music Tribe here. You should use the Pitch correction first. That way, your harmonies will be created in the correct key already. It's better to pitch correct just 1 voice, and then duplicate that rather than try to pitch correct the harmonized output of the Harmony Singer.

    Hi

I am a newbie who recently purchased a VoiceLive Touch 2. I installed VoiceSupport 2 (version 1.1.00 Build 136) on my MacBook Pro (running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6), used a USB cable to connect with my Touch 2, opened the VoiceSupport 2 app, clicked the SCAN button and promptly got an error message: "There are no MIDI capable device available to VoiceSupport."

From hunting around online for a few days, I gather I need to configure my Touch 2 in order for it to communicated with VoiceSupport 2, so I was hoping that there is a video or a walk-through that will tell me exactly how the Touch 2 needs to be configured in order to work with VoiceSupport 2.

Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.

      VanderLeal Hi there.
Yes, I'll have to do the same soon, as I was trying to find more information about it first...
But I saw in a video on YouTube (one of the official videos) that says you should define the MIDI as USB mode, in order for the MIDI commands to be sent to the USB interface and interpreted by the VoiceSupport2.

But I'm starting to feel like there's no much updates or most of the information being obsolete and no longer downloadable, etc (like Presets for the VoiceLive Touch 2)

Well, let's try to keep helping each other then... whoever is still interested in these topics/products.

      Cheers!

Nic Jones Hi Bogwood + VanderLeal

As VanderLeal said, you need to set the MIDI Mode to USB and it should talk to your computer and VS 2 then.

If either of you still continue to have issues then please open a technical support ticket and we can try to help you out further.

    • bogwood
bogwood Thanks Nic and VanderLeal - I managed to figure out how to set the MIDI Mode to USB (Set Up > MIDI 8/13), but the problem persists. Same "No devices available" error message. I tried MIDI Mode MERGE as well, changed USB cables, and restarted both my Mac and the Touch 2. Nothing. I'll open a support ticket.

Hi My name is Michael Sprunt. I have a Voice Live 2 . I love it . But my adapter has overheated and stopped working. So my Voice Live 2 has stopped as well. But I tried another adapter with my Voice Live 2 and it lit up a bit so I don't think it is the Voice Live 2 that is broke. But I think it was the adapter that has finally overheated. Because it was hot when I unplugged it. Then after that . It did not work. So is there a place I can take my Voice Live "2" to be looked at, A certified dealer with your product, (Voice Live "2") to be sure. I know I need a new Adapter. So where can I get another Adapter for my Voice Live 2. Can I buy one from T.C. Helicon or of the net with some one else. I would rather T.C.Helicon. But how do I go about that. Without buying a new Voice Live. A certified Dealer you recomend. I live in Toronto Canada. I have dealt with you guys before a couple years back. Love the Voice Live"2". I tried to buy one online but it gives you a whole bunch a places  but you can't connect to them. it sends me to Google maps of where the places are in the world. But you don't have a connection from when I click on BUY Button.

Michael Sprunt Thanks John. I finally figured that out. Took a Minute But I finally got it. I found where they have 12 Volt Adapter for sale online. Called the POWERPLUG 12. But when I hit the "BUY" button, It leads me to Google maps and a schroll down of places in the states to I guess buy one. But if you click on any one of the places. it only takes you to where they are placed in Google maps. It doesn't finish the transaction. Like it is supposed to do ounce you hit a BUY BUTTON. Do you might know how to work it by chance do you?? Thanks anyways brother John. Appreciate the Help Bro.

      • Voice Live "2" Adapter broken need new one. How do I purchase new Adapter for Voice Live "2"
John Matthews No problem, if you're talking about on the TC website then there isn't a way to buy something direct through the website it will just lead you to retailers who sell it. So you can contact one of the retailers from the list and see if they have in stock or contact the TC spare parts team directly via the "support" button and filling out a spare parts ticket.
