Hey guys, I just purchased a mic mechanic 2. When I plug this guy up and turn it on, I'm loosing too much signal with my condenser mic, and have to then turn the gain up too hot on my focusrite audio box USB, therefor introducing way too much noise. MY signal path is, Condenser, to Mic Mechanic 2, to Focusrite Audio box usb. I tried to connect to the voicesupport2 too see if an update or firmware could help, but it says "no internet connection." Just about to return this guy sadly. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd appreciate it.

RexBeckett The Mic Mechanic 2 has a 24V phantom supply. If your condenser mic requires 48V, it could explain why the output level is low. If that is the problem, you could use an external 48V phantom supply between the mic and the MM2 - or a different mic.

vic91218 Rex thank you for the reply! Should the phantom on the mic mechanic even matter if the focusrite has 48v phantom engaged?

      • Mic Mechanic 2 Low Gain
RexBeckett The Mic Mechanic will not pass phantom power from the Focurite to the mic. It only provides a fixed 24V on its mic input. It is only an issue if your mic needs a 48V supply. Many mics will work with lower phantom voltages but not all do.

Hi Everyone. I just bought a Voicelive 3 Extreme and I am running into an issue. When I use in-ear monitors I want to be able to completely control my in-ear monitor mix from my digital mixing board. I would like to use the headphone output control on the Voicelive to control the entire in-ear mix that is coming from my soundboard (much the same as a belt mounted headphone amp). However, it seems that the headphone output on the Voicelive is directly connected to the mic and guitar inputs on the Voicelive. For example, if I turn up my vocal mic in my in-ear mix from my digital mixer, nothing happens to the vocal volume in my in-ears. I have to turn up my headphone output on the Voicelive to increase the vocal volume and then turn down everything else on my digital mixer. Maybe I have something routed wrong. I am running the Voicelive in dual mono mode. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Just plugged Harmony Singer, launched Voice Supp. Software shows my other "Play Acoustic" ok, and Harmony Singer without picture and question mark attached, but cannot find it. VS also says, "There's no internet sonnection" and there sure is. Voice support version is from year 2015; which seems a bit odd. Also, I can't get guitar out of XLR output as well as the question https://musictribecommunity.powerappsportals.com/en-us/knowledgebase/article/2710 but no one seem to be interested in anwering it. May be this is not the right place to ask technical help, but i asked something loooong time agoi with my "PlayAcoustic" and no answer until this day.

Is there a manual for the Switch 6? Nothing came with it for instructions. If not how do I get one. Looking all over your site.

Jeffy123 I'm using it with the Voicelive Touch2. I would also like the fulll manual for that too. It only came with the quick guide.

kiskadar69 The VoiceLive Touch 2 Reference Manual is not up-to-date. Only Switch-3 is mentioned in it, not Switch-6.

PlamenPenev I have the same problem. After a reset of VoiceLive 3, Voicesupport 2 does not connect to the Internet. And this for several days now - there are no answers, and I can't work.

SpyderZA I am having the same problem with Voicesupport and Voicesupport 2. My Voicelive Touch 2 is pretty useless now and I have also got work to finish.

FabioValdez If you were using it before, just disconnect from internet and start the program, then you can connect again. If it's a fresh new installed then there's no workaround because it requires connection to the server for first time running. In the first post they said that is because they changed the server so it does't connect to the new server yet.

davidmck Already tried disconnecting from internet, starting program, and then connect to internet - made no difference. Also getting message saying "Voicesupport is unable to load required control files"

      NicJonesMT Hi Rdadscomp1.

Please see my comment on your last post.

We will need to gather some more information from you based on what system you are using and how you have the device setup and configured. We can then determine how to resolve this issue for you.

      Can you please click "Support" at the top and open a Technical support ticket. Please ensure that you provide the following when opening your ticket;

      • Can you please detail any other devices that are being used in conjunction and exactly how these are connected to your device?

      • Can you please detail how parameters on the device are set?

      • Have you tested the device using an alternative audio source?

      • Do you have access to alternative computer?

      • Are any LED’s or lights on the device lit up or behaving erratically?

      • What software are you using the device with?

      • Are you connecting to a Windows or Mac computer and what operating system are you using?

      • Do you have a similar device that you can compare the behaviours of?

      • Can you please provide me with a detailed description of how the device is behaving and any other trouble shooting steps that you have undertaken?

If possible could you please also prepare a short video that clearly shows how the device is setup and behaving? These videos are extremely helpful in quickly identifying the cause of your issue and finding a resolution.

If you upload the video to file sharing platform, such as Dropbox or Google Drive and paste a Shareable link into the case subject field, the Case handler will be able to download and view (Please ensure that you have it set so that anyone with the link can view the file).

      • I am still having problems
NicJonesMT Does your computer have individual Mic and Headphone ports or a dual port?

If Separate then you need to get a TRRS splitter to connect to both Ports. You will then be able to get input and output of your machine.

        Something like the following should work;

If you have a dual headphone and mic port, do you see any input signal in the Recording devices menu?

      • I am still having problems
NicJonesMT Can you please open a Technical Support ticket and we can then advise you further on how to setup and use the device.

Click support at the top of the page and then provide the previously request information.

rdadscomp1 windows 10 is what i am using
      • July 3, 2020
      • I am still having problems
NicJonesMT If you right Click the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the screen and select Recording devices, do you see an input coming in? It would normally be named as "Realtek" or something similar as you are using your Computers main input and output.

As Above, If you are using a computer with a port for the headphones, and a port for the Mic, you will need a TRRS to dual TRS splitter cable to connect to both, and allow input and output from your computer.
        • July 3, 2020
    • rdadscomp1
rdadscomp1 It has one port, and nothing said recording on it
      • July 3, 2020
      • I am still having problems
NicJonesMT If there is only one port on your computer then you will need the splitter cable as stated above.

Sorry I'm using an older version of Windows 10. on version 1803 or later, you need to right click the icon and "Open Sound Settings".
You should then be able to see your input and output levels.

With the Go Guitar connected to the Mic input on your computer, you should see the input raise.

As above, I think the best and fastest option would be to open a support ticket and one of the team can go through all setup steps with you.
