Hey there.  I use the sampler and the mixer channels no problem but I have never been able to get the voice effects to work.  I have no idea why, but is there something I'm missing? I press for example the megaphone button and nothing changes.  Same with the dials. They don't alter my voice at all.

PedroRodrigues Hi Mortehl When you are referring to effects on the GO XLR are you referring to the Mic processing? If you are effectively referring to the Compressor; Gate and De-Esser they are more to process your signal than an effect itself, have you tried to make any changes on an of the processing tools and compare with the unprocessed signal?

kiskadar69 Is the MIX / OUTPUT LEVEL parameter set to 0 dB?

    • timpoteet
timpoteet It was set on -8. I set it on 0 and I have to crank the mic gain to max to hear anything. I'm testing a new mic and using an unbalanced cord from the voicelive to a guitar amp. could the unbanced line be the problem? when I remove the voicelive and use the mic with the unalanced cord the mic has plenty of volume and works normal.

kiskadar69 1. "unbalanced cord": does this mean a proper "XLR" - "TS jack" cable?

kiskadar69 2.The VoiceLive Play XLR outputs should be tested by connecting them to the XLR input of a mixer using a 3-core (balanced) XLR-XLR cable.

DavidStewart There are a few presets that use the Talkbox effect or other computer voice effects. They do not give any sound unless you're playing.

    Hello,

I watch some of the youtube manuals, and the VoiceTone Create XT obviously delivers both - dry and in monomode. So I hope, others models can do the same.

I'm interessted in die Voiceplay Live or one of the others models, but the manual download isn't possible currently.

Yes, they can do it. As for VoiceLive Play, in MONO mode, dry sound (mic + Tone) comes out of the right XLR output, and full mix (in mono) comes out of the left XLR output. The global LEAD MUTE parameter can be used to select whether dry sound is included in the full mix.

    Hi,

I have a Playacoustic and my guitar and mic plug into that.  I would like to get a harmoniser for another singer and was thinking of a Harmony Singer 2.  However, the other singer doesn't play guitar and I have heard that the Singer 2 needs a guitar input so that it can track chords for harmonies etc.  Any recommendations for how to split the guitar signal so that it can go into the Playacoustic and the Singer 2 - or for a harmoniser that doesn't need a guitar input?  Thanks!

kiskadar69 Method 1: Guitar to Harmony Singer 2 "INST IN", Harmony Singer 2 "INST THRU" to Play Acoustic "GUITAR IN".
Method 2: maybe a DI box could be used. Guitar into DI box input with a jack to jack lead, the jack link output on the DI box into the Play Acoustic "GUITAR IN" with another jack to jack lead, and then the DI XLR out into the Harmony Singer 2 "INST IN" with an XLR to jack lead.

      • Splitting guitar signal to harmoniser?
Jezzerbee Thanks! Method 1 looks a bit more straightforward - my kind of level!

harrisrljc Similar question, different equipment. I'm the bass player and I'm looking at getting a Harmony Singer 2. Guitar player has a Harmony Singer 1. I need to go to the HS2 first, then out to his HS1, then to the guitar amplifier?

Nigel67 Hi michaelf, I have just tried and the download seems to be working. Maybe it was some sort of glitch at that time. Are you able to download it now?

I want to connect these two. Can someone help me how to connect them?

kiskadar69 I don’t think you should connect Play Acoustic and TRIO+, but “split” the dry guitar signal in some way and send it to the guitar input of the TRIO+ and the guitar input of the Play Acoustic.

kiskadar69 Alternatively, if you do not use the TRIO+ FX SEND / RETURN jacks and do not use the TRIO+'s built-in guitar effects, and if you use the TRIO+ MIXER OUT, the dry guitar signal will appear on the TRIO+ AMP OUT, so you can send it to the Play Acoustic guitar input.
