How do I record separate tracks in garageband using my xenyx Q1002 USB?

I've set up my q1002 with 2 XLR AT202 mics and am able to record to garage band on my Mac. My only problem is when I record 2 voices for a podcast, they are recorded in garageband as one single track. How can I get garage band to record Mic 1 as Track 1 and Mic 2 as Track 2?

Hi Andrew ( @ASTaylor91 ), 

 

Welcome to the community. It sounds like GB is treated the inputs as a stereo pair.  Take a look at the link below and try to set the track inputs to individual mono tracks.
