Using the S32 and S8 in a broadcast environment

If I am using a Bahringer S-32 MIxer and two S-8 Stage boxes what would my latency be at approximately 60 feet using the pro co cable?

Do you have an other cable recommendations for the AES 50 other than the Pro Cables you sell?

@dishnation

Hello Tajuana, welcome to the community.

Do you mean an X32 mixer and SD8 stageboxes? If so, the worst-case latency from stagebox, through mixer, to stagebox would be about 1.3ms. This is not dependent on the length of the AES50 cable (up to 100m) and also not dependent on the type of cable (assuming it meets the minimum requirements)..

The minimum spec. for the AES50 cable is Cat5e. Cat6a cable can give improved screening in noisy environments. It is important that the cable shields are correctly terminated to shielded RJ45 connectors and EtherCon shells are fitted.

I find these cables work really well and are robust but flexible.
