Re: Bi-wire Tannoy DC-8 HELP

Hi, Use a thick multistrand cable for the LF and a good quality solid core for the HF to yield the best results. The amplifier sends exactly the same signal through single or bi-wired cables. The difference comes in the separation of frequencies at the speaker end of the cable. The internal components (crossover) of a speaker sends the high frequencies and low frequencies to the correct drivers/tweeter. Even though the difference is minimal, many audiophiles claim this bi-wiring method increases the stereo separation and perceived level of detail.

Re: Bi-wire Tannoy DC-8 HELP

Thank you for response,

I have tried DNM Resolution in bi-wire mode, but prefer single wire.

Now, I hesitate how to use jumpers and connectors.

I wonder what is difference between DNM bananas  http://www.dnm.co.uk/acatalog/Plugs.html and these
