Hi. What is the best way to play music through this mixer via a laptop. Ie which leads and ports should I use.

Hi Garry ( @Garrywaldorf ), 

 

Welcome to the community.  Use any two adjacent odd/even channels in the second row (i.e. 9-16) so you don't tie up the mic pre-amps.  Use XAir Edit to Stereo Link the channels so they operate as a stereo pair.  Connect your laptop 3.5mm output to the inputs using a 3.5mm stereo to dual TS mono splitter cable.  Something like this should work fine: https://hosatech.com/products/analog-audio/stereo-breakouts/hosa-breakouts/cmp-150/
